Life can oftentimes feel overwhelming and confusing, if not downright painful. Therapy can be a space that is safe, confidential, and comfortable to help explore the ways you have experienced the world and to rewire the unsatisfying ways of being to more fulfilling.
I don’t believe people or problems can fit nicely into boxes, so my work is eclectic to help my clients find the healing they long for and deserve. This means that sometimes our work together centers on what your body is experiencing, changing negative thought patterns, or even throwing pillows in my office to finally express that pent up anger. Life is complex, so oftentimes, therapy is also complex. It is both a mix of science and art, leaving us with a canvas to work with to create something beautiful and healing together – for you and your life.
While I work with clients from all walks of life, I specialize in working with individuals (ages 6+), couples, and families. Oftentimes, the people that end up in my office are experiencing difficulties related to relationships, anxiety or depression, trauma, or trying to create a healthy relationship with their body. I honor each individual and family that steps into my office, and believe that only you can be an expert on you and what you need. It is my hope that I can work with you to help you uncover the best parts of yourself and to feel alive and fulfilled once again.

History
Established in 2015.
Kirstin started her private practice in the Green Lake neighborhood of Seattle and after a few months decided to move her office to the Wallingford neighborhood to provide her clients with easier accessibility from different parts of the city and a more comforting atmosphere.
Her dream of a private practice has been almost lifelong, but while her practice is new, she has been working in mental health and advocacy for over a decade. The opportunity finally presented itself in the early parts of 2015 to switch roles in the field to a mental health clinician and health coach, so Kirstin ran with it and hasn’t looked back since. She loves her job and feels passionate and honored to be doing this work with new and veteran clients alike.
Her private practice is in the Vintage Wallingford building, settled amongst Fuel Coffee and Wells Fargo Bank. You can also oftentimes find her around the city meeting with community leaders, hosting speaking or education events, or just having fun.

Business Owner
Raised in Texas, Kirstin now feels more at home in Seattle than anywhere else she has ever lived. She has been studying psychology and trauma for as long as she can remember and has a passion for helping people meet their greatest potential in a life of freedom rather than one full of fear and anxiety. She holds a MA in Counseling Psychology and a MA in Theology & Culture, so she uses a social justice and holistic framework in her treatment with clients. A lifetime competitive athlete, she also knows the importance of the body and incorporates a somatic approach to healing. When she is not in session with her beloved clients, she is working on advocacy, writing, or playing with her dog and husband.
