Business Owner

Hello, I’m Tarina. I’ve been running amok capturing the world through light and lens for the majority of my life. I feel portraiture is more than just «sit, say cheese, and smile.» I think it’s something to be explored, and enables us to see ourselves in a whole new way.

I find beauty in each individual, no matter their size or shape, whether they have perfect skin or extensive scarring. We are landscapes, some more worn or torn than others. I find these differences are not something to be ashamed of, but proud of, for our bodies tell the tale of our lives.

I enjoy getting folks comfortable in their own skin. I will photoshop a blemish, but not ones expression or the essence of who they are. I will tell you if you have something in your teeth or if your hair is doing that weird thing you hate. I’ve been known to climb about on all sorts of objects haphazardly, to get that perfect shot of you.

When not scampering about taking photos, I’m with my partner or playing with our menagerie
