Truly A Dental Practice For The Whole Family.

Was recommended to Dr. Holmes by my contractor, who is a 3^rd generation West Seattle-​ite and has been seeing Dr. Holmes since he was a kid. I am not generally squeamish about the dentist (love getting my teeth cleaned in fact), but it’s always good to have a strong recommendation from a local. Dr. Holmes is (was) a professor of dentistry at the UW, so is very up to date on modern technology with dental procedures. The office is small and comfortable, with the exam rooms being full of light and views of Puget Sound. He has a friendly bedside manner, which I appreciate, and is no-​nonsense when it comes to cleanings, x-​rays (digital!), etc. If you live in the south end of West Seattle, I cannot recommend him enough. Note: He will also take pediatric patients. Truly a dental practice for the whole family.

History

Established in 1976.

The practice started in December of 1976 as a brand new practice

and grew with word-​of-​mouth communication. The location has never changed and we remain in the heart of the Fauntleroy community

in West Seattle.

Business Owner

Native of Seattle. Grew up in the Ballard community and went to

Ballard High school, graduating with honors in 1966. Graduated from the

University of Washington in Chemical Engineering in 1970. Worked for

The Dow Chemical Company as a process engineer from 1970 – 1972.

Entered dental school at the University of Washington in 1972, graduating

in1976. Started practice in Dec. of 1976 and also serving as a part-​time

instructor at the dental school.
