WARNING! It’s closed! There’s no signage to give the impression that they’ll be opening back up. And you can tell that the inside is being gutted.

Decent karaōke spot — usually is quite loud, but can be in a good way. Haven’t tried their food, but honestly you aren’t coming here for the food. Location is convenient. HOWEVER, Hamburger Harry’s is now closed. So, Unilocal, might want to adjust those hours ;)

Hilarious people-watching at Karaōke on Saturday night here and the for what the place lacks in décor and sound quality, it more than makes up for with heart. We ended up here after the nearby spot was packed watching the Sounders game and were not disappointed. The only downside was when some drunk bro tried to turn my rendition of Ruby Tuesday into a duet, when clearly it is not.

I was there on vacation and stopped in with the family after a day of seeing the sights. The service was quick, beer was plentiful, and lots of burger options made us all very happy. They even had a burger on the menu that we had been talking about during the day(bacon, fried egg, and cheese), which I ended up ordering. It was huge and delicious! The local beers were on tap were good, and they had several games on, including the basketball playoffs which we wanted to watch. The best part were the tasty(and bottomless) french fries. We order an extra basket to finish off the game and our beers.

If you need a spot for karaōke on a Saturday night in Ballard, this is it! Our group headed here after Hazlewood when people had the urge to dance and sing… we were close to catching a cab back to Rickshaw in the Greenwood area, but found this place on Unilocal and it was basically down the street. HOWPERFECT! We got in around 1 a.m. so we really didn’t have that much time left to sing and what not, but after a wild rendition of Poison… or was it Montell Jordan’s This Is How We Do It? Anyway, the DJ seemed to get a kick out of it and extended the karaōke time to 1:45 a.m. so there we were, ready to sing more and dance like crazy. I was basically the only sober one and it was quite entertaining to watch. The place actually got more crowded after we went in so that was awesome! The crowd was super supportive and there were a variety of songs that were sung or belted, what have you. We ordered a few pitchers and just spent the rest of the night at Hamburger Harry’s and boy, was it a great end to the night! We’ll probably come back and just note that they start at 9 p.m.

I’m always looking for a good place to sing karaōke. This is one of them. Drinks are cheap. Food is delicious. And it’s laid back and fun. I shall return!

This review is strictly for karaōke. I’ve never eaten at Hamburger Harry’s. However, Friday and Saturday nights at 9, karaōke starts. It’s the most laid back and fun karaōke I’ve experienced so far in Seattle, and it’s quickly becoming my go-to. They also have a Wheel-O-Fun(I’m sure that’s not the actual name… but it could be!) with different shot /drink specials listed. The wheel spins every 15 or 30 minutes and there are some good deals. It also has to be the best people-watching in Ballard. Hands down. If you’re looking for a fun night out featuring karaōke, you gotta try Hamburger Harry’s.

Looking for meat on a bun… and this fit the bill. Staff was friendly and helpful. Suggested I try a draft cider, as I am not much of a beer drinker, «Angry Orchard» offered and I’m glad I took the suggestion. Excellent!!! Had the Bacon Cheese Burger & Fries(as reviewed before, meat could use a little more seasoning) cooked as I asked and delivered in good hast. Owner on site, interested and active. Great football match on the flat-screen, burger done, 2 plates of fries, 3 or 4(?) ciders later… I had done all the damage I could and hit the street just in time to watch the Meter-Maid leave confetti on my car. I think I will walk the next time! Losing track of time aside, it was a good experience.

This isn’t your frozen hamburger patty type of Burger place. Everything was really good, particularly the peanut butter milkshake, which was a real milkshake, not made from some sort of mix. We shared one burger, and still left with food on the plate. Minus one star because we had to pay to park, and because the seem a bit overpriced($ 13 for a burger?). Don’t drive around the back looking for a parking lot, by the way, there isn’t one. It’s a bit of an industrial driveway back there with the biggest potholes I have ever seen. If you’re driving a monster truck you might get a kick out of it, but otherwise you’ve been warned!

A good place for a burger and a game. The atmosphere is cold and very open but we were only one of 3 or 4 full tables. The service was good and so was the food. I like this place and will be back if I’m in the neighborhood looking for a burger and a beer.

It’s a bar that«specializes» in burgers. It’s really a sports bar! Love going here to watch UFC fights! Large screens that you can see everything from where ever you sit or stand. I assume they show almost every major sporting event in season. Late night they will have kareoke, but I haven’t stuck around for that. The burgers look good, but I’ve never eatten one. I did have their pot roast and to my surprise, it was really good and tender! Go here to watch all sporting events, drink beer and booze, and if you’re hungry, I’m sure the burgers will suffice. Worth checking out!

As fate would have it, we landed here on UFC night so the crowd was probably a little different than normal… I had a Pale Moon with what I think was their southern burger — substituted turkey and had sweet potato fries. Service was friendly, although the curds came at the same time the burgers did. I thought the burger itself was pretty good– was supposed to have a choice of cheese and was given cheddar as a default. Would come back on a non-fight night — although entertaining to watch.

This place was pretty unexceptional. I feel that the quality of burger was not worth the price that I paid. The fries were good. The tap selection was decent. If I were to have another burger craving in the near future, which is usually every other day, I would recommend hitting up Zak’s, Scooter’s or Take 5 for the Meatloaf Burger. All are far superior and won’t cost more than 10 bucks.

Cool little casual sports-bar like burger spot in the heart of Ballard on Market. I’ve been here a few times and I really wish it was a bit better than it sounds. Don’t get me wrong, I like the place, but the prices are a bit high for what you get. Service is alright(a bit on the slower side, even when it’s not busy customer wise inside). Their menu is extensive, lots of options, but compared to other places near by and in other neighborhoods that have comparable menus, this place charges too much and it’s not quite the best flavor for the buck. I am intrigued to come back and try the Peanut Butter Bacon Burger though, lol. Sounds fun huh? I bet it’s tasty! I can vouch that their Chipotle Chicken Wrap and Avocado Burgers are good! It’s nice if you are looking for a good sports bar in Ballard or want to stop in for lunch and hang out inside or get some sunshine on their patio.

We stopped in while doing the Ballard Art Walk on Second Saturday. We were seated at a table that was plum in the middle of the room. I hate being plum in the middle of the room; I am much more comfortable being up against a wall. Since there were six tables in this section and ours was the only one taken, we moved ourselves to the table next to ours. It abutted a counter with seats and where I assume people are actually seated when it is crowded. I cannot imagine that is very comfortable for anyone involved. But, since we were the only ones in this particular section, all was fine. I was a bit put off by the menu prices, which seemed a bit high for what you got. BUT, my husband had really been wanting to check this place out, so we stuck around. He got a bacon cheeseburger, which he reported to be quite good. But, he said, Red Mill’s is just as good and costs considerably less. The fries, he thought, though, were only«serviceable.» I had the fried chicken dinner w/gravy. I appreciated that gravy was not overly heavy as cream gravies so often are. The accompanying carrots were fine, but were swimming in butter. I would rather have had a more healthy option of just the carrots minus the extra, and completely unnecessary, fat.(And, yes, I am entitled to this opinion even though I was eating fried chicken w/cream gravy.) They do not provide a wine menu with prices. And, yes, I know I could have asked. But, when the server told me they had 14 Hands Cabernet, at a burger joint, I figured it could not possibly be more than $ 5. So, I was a bit surprised to see we were charged $ 7.50 per glass. That is way too expensive. That is costing them a star. Service was fine — nothing great; nothing horrible. But, the overall experience left us unimpressed. We’ll probably not be back.

Food is mediocre at best. Service is worthless at best. 2 servers and a manager were completely incapable of handling about 8 seated tables(2 – 4 people per table). If you’ve never worked in a restaurant, trust me – this is pathetic. After waiting half an hour for our food, politely asked the server when it would be up. With a very angry demeanor, she snapped«Anytime now!» Fifteen minutes later, went over to the bar to inquire about the food and before I could get a single word out, the server whipped her head around Linda Blair style, shot me the demonic glare of death, and shrieked«here’s your food!‘ Waited 45 minutes for the food only to find the server didn’t even take the order properly. Grilled onions and cheese were explicitly requested on my dip. Politely notified the waitress who offered no apology, but instead snarled that she didn’t hear me ask for them. It took her about 5 minutes to deliver two pieces of ice cold cheese to add to the(at that point luke-warm) sandwich. She never brought the grilled onions, and didn’t come back to the table for over 10 minutes. No apologies for the horrendous service were ever offered. I never even touched my dip and had to remind the server to take the screwed up sandwich that she never corrected(and I didn’t eat) off the check. I honestly can not fathom how this place stays in business.

Burger was decent with a pint of Maritime Imperial. Smoked Gouda with horseradish and mushrooms a plenty. A decent day to spend some time with your beautiful wife.

Good burgers! Peanut butter bacon burger! I like it when restaurants take chances — particularly when it involves peanut butter and bacon. I thought it’d be like a 50’s dinner, but it’s basically a sports bar: TVs, bar, floors that are easily mopped.

It was lunch that i was looking for and after walking to Market and 24th from Phinney and 45th, i felt a little bit of a splurge was in order. Last I’d been by they were under construction and i was a little unimpressed by the way it looked like a Johnny Rockets. i wondered if there was a menu in the window so I kind of wandered by when Mike, the manager(or owner? don’t know) came out. «You coming in?» He greeted me. Sure why not! I took a seat at the bar, and was warmly greeted by Brandon the day bartender. Looking over the menu, there was a great variety of burgers, a decent variety of beers and a handful of appetizers. Thats as far as i got on the menu, because i was immediatly struck by the idea of a ‘jalapeño popper burger“ From the menu«jalapeño popper burger — we stuff roasted jalapenos, cream cheese, and cheddar cheese into a burger, bread it and deep fry it to a crunch, with lettuce, pico de gallo and guacamole — 9.59» The burger came with bottomless fries that could have used an extra minute or two in the deep fryer. The burger was something to behold though, cheesey, spicy, juicy and yum. The buns made by Olson’s bakery I here were delightful and reminded me a lot of the buns Fudruckers make. Yum. i can’t wait to go back.
