Dr Fletcher is amazingly talented at his profession! All his staff are personable and compassionate. It’s not everyday you find a good balance of professionalism, smarts & compassion in the healthcare. It rolls down from the top of the establishment! Have never had an «ok» experience at Dr Fletchers office… It has always been extraordinary!

What a great experience!
I had a filling fall out and went have it replaced. The appointment was scheduled for 8−10am. Was done by 8:35! Was treated so well by Uriel and Dr. Fletcher, I will never go anywhere else again.
Another plus: the filling that fell out was amalgam (mercury) — new one is white enamel. Love it!

While the staff is all very friendly and professional and wonderful people, I have to write a 2-​star review for the quality of fillings I’ve had done here. I had a few fillings done over the course of 2 sessions. The first round my fillings were very sensitive the days and even weeks after. I had never experienced that in the years and years I’ve had fillings done (I obviously need to floss more) but I was told that this is normal for teeth/​fillings to be sensitive in the time after. It wasn’t just to cold and heat, but chewing and just generally, I’d feel a sort of «pressure» pain/​sensation. The sensitivity mostly went away with time but my fillings still don’t feel quite right. I even had them «adjust» the fillings but I don’t believe the cavities were fully removed or taken care of. When I floss those problem areas, the floss gets torn up because it is very rough. It also just feels like a cavity still. I’m worried I’ll need to get a root canal.
At this point, I don’t want to return to Gentle Dental because I can’t say that I trust Dr Fletcher’s quality of work. If he already tried to fix a previous filling he did and it’s still has issues, I don’t believe a third go-​around would do the trick.
Staff is amazing — don’t get me wrong — but the work by Dr. Fletcher is unlike work I’ve ever had in my past experience with dentists. and I don’t mean this in a positive way. Unfortunately, Gentle Dental didn’t work out for me and I’ll need to hunt for a new dentist in Seattle.

Dr. Fletcher and his team are the best! They really care about the welfare of their patients and go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and well informed. I had to go in for a procedure because another dentist missed a cavity and it had started to become an issue. Dr. Fletcher quickly identified the issue and fit me with a new crown in no time — and my teeth are as good as new! =)
I would definitely recommend Dr. Fletcher and his team in a heartbeat!

I visited Dr. Fletcher for the first time in the fall after moving to Seattle. He took x-​rays and told me that I had 9 cavities and scheduled 4 different appointment to get them all filled. I was surprised, since I’d never had more than one cavity at a time before, and my teeth didn’t really hurt, but I figured he knew what he was talking about.
I got a second opinion from a dentist my coworker recommended (one that’s had about 40 years of experience), and he found NO cavities. That means that I would have spent over $ 800 (after insurance) for pretty much nothing.
Everyone at Gentle Dental was extremely nice, and the facilities were fine, but I would highly recommend getting a second opinion before getting any work done besides a general cleaning.

Dr. Fletcher and Dr. Lin are amazing! I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a caring and patient dentist and endodontist. Everyone in the staff makes you feel very comfortable and cared for.

I moved to Seattle last year and thankfully found a great dentist. The whole office is extremely friendly and won’t keep you waiting for your appointment.

Honestly, my whole experience here was great. Every staff member I interacted with was extremely professional and sincerely KIND and polite. The experience of going to the dentist is something many people fear, but at this place, there’s nothing to worry about. Dr. Fletcher made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions with thoroughness. I felt like I was in great hands with him and the rest of the staff.

OH my goodness, the sweetest group of people work here. And so funny! Uriel made me laugh too many times to count, and Dr. Fletcher was just fabulous. Who the heck looks forward to the next teeth cleaning? *raises hand* I do! Not to mention super clean, new office and equipment. Easy to find and walk to, if you’re in the capitol hill area.

Dr. Fletcher and his staff are great, as other reviewers have stated. This is a wonderful office to visit and everyone here will treat you respectfully and you’ll always feel safe and secure in this office.
As someone who had not gone to the dentist in over 10 years due to extreme phobia I had some pretty large reservations about my first visits here. Dr. Fletcher and his staff were very accommodating and worked with me to help ease a lot of the anxiety I had prior to my visits. I was able to get my cleanings, and a bit of work done over a few different visits and felt more and more comfortable each time as a result of the care of the staff here.
Now I can visit for regular cleanings with confidence, not anxiety, and have even looked at getting Invisalign (never had braces as a kid) through this office. The whole process is very transparent (pun intended), and all of the staff want to make sure you have all of the information you need to have the best dental care possible.
If you’re like me, fearful of the dentist but know how important having your teeth been in top condition is, don’t hesitate to give this office a try. You’ll thank yourself for making the leap and trusting this staff with your dental care.

Dr. Fletcher and his staff are amazing! I am so happy to have found a dental office that truly cares! They really want to provide a great overall experience from customer service to making sure your comfortable as a patient. I really can tell that as a whole they are passionate about being an outstanding office and that feels good as a patient. I had a few fillings replaced and a cleaning done over 3 appointments and everything was painless and easy. To me dentistry is about details… do they have a good touch with needles etc… am I drowning in water… do I feel like I was in a street fight when I leave! Things like that… They scored a 10 out of 10 in my book!
They checked me out… gave me a detailed plan of attack… went over costs with me… and then provided great results!
I had a consult with the Orthodontist and she was on point too!
What a contradiction from the original dentist office I went to that I won’t mention (Bright Now Dental Factoria) .

I was looking for a new dental clinic to go to, and my friend Tony recommended I try out Gentle Dental. This was definitely the best decision I’ve made for my dental plan. They accept most insurances, the staff is UNREAL. They are so so kind, welcoming, and obviously care about you as a person and as a patient. I was also impressed with not only their dental knowledge and execution, but they also took every chance to educate, advise, recommend products, and answer any question I had. The environment is clean and up-​to-​date, and at a fun location right on Broadway on Capitol Hill. I will definitely continue to do all of my check-​ups and cleanings at this location and I so recommend that you check this place out! Special thanks to Tres, Uriel, and Dr. Fletcher for being so stunning!

The doctor at Capitol Hill and the staff is very good — probably ⁴⁄₅ stars.
The 1 star is on account of the daily calls from Gentle Dental HQ (in the middle of work days) to take surveys. I have told them 3 times to stop calling but they are not getting the message!
The one time they called me I was at Gentle Dental for a follow-​up appointment — clearly communication between the channels is lacking. If you don’t want to be constantly disturbed in the middle of your workday, you should consider going to another dental clinic.

Dr. Fletcher is easily the best dentist I’ve ever been seen (and I’ve had a couple)! He is kind, thorough, and puts you at ease with his calm, gentle demeanor. He talks you through everything he is doing, which I truly appreciate. His staff is very friendly and helpful! The office environment is clean and modern. I absolutely hate going to the dentist! I hate getting my teeth cleaned I hate having any fillings done and somehow they have made my experience the best it possibly could be. After my cleaning I needed two fillings I was very nervous and so I was able to get a medication to help me relax before I had to have them filled. The medication relaxed me enough so I was able to go in and have the best possible experience I could have getting fillings done. Dr. Fletcher and his staff were very accommodating and were very patient. I would highly recommend Dr. Fletcher for any one looking for a dentist.

I needed a dentist in my area, so I went to Gentle Dental on Capitol Hill. From the moment I walked in, I was treated well. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and made me feel welcome.

I have been going to Gentle Dental in Ballard for a long time but it is a long haul for me. When they opened an office in Capitol Hill I was delighted! Although the Ballard office has a nice view over Puget Sound the Capitol Hill office is much more convenient for me.
I had my first cleaning at the Capitol Hill location a few months ago and it went really well. It was the first time I’ve ever had my teeth cleaned by the dentist rather than a hygienist and he did a great job. He was also very personable and didn’t rush through my cleaning.
The office is new and very clean and they have all new equipment too, including digital xrays which are available immediately and they show them to you so they can point out any issues.
The office staff were friendly and as always took care of billing my insurance and scheduling my next cleaning. Great experience!

I had the incredible pleasure of having my teeth cleaned by Dr. Fletcher at Gentle Dental on Broadway. Dr. Fletcher and his assistant Marley did an amazing job taking all of my x-​rays without making me have my gag reflex kick in (a huge feat).
Being a teeth grinder during my sleep for many many years and having been told by multiple dentists I should get a mouth guard (me thinking it was just a sales tactic) Dr. Fletcher actually took the time to explain, show me exactly where I’ve already worn down certain areas and I finally get out of my denial and got my mouthguard. I’ve had to go back a few times in order to make sure it fits just right and he’s always been great at being able to assist me. High Five to Dr. Fletcher and his amazing team. It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend them to all of my friends and I’m certainly going back.
