This is the guy!
My first shoot with Gabriel was my first shoot ever. He spent the required time with me just looking through photos of celebrities and pointing out specific techniques they employed to hit the perfect photo. We then practiced these techniques and when I felt ready, it was lights, camera, action. During the shoot, Gabriel made sure I was comfortable and relaxed to ensure the best photos possible were taken. I truly had a great time hanging with this guy. And, oh yeah, the photos were amazing!
When people saw the photos, they assumed I went to a high priced, multi-​layered system, when in reality it was a highly focused, multi-​talented photographer.
Gabriel has done more shoots for me and I’ve directed multiple others to him. Everyone has had the same experience, which is a professional, efficient, and enjoyable experience.
As a note: I’ve recently had photos taken by an agency for big money. It was a terrible experience and the photos were disappointing. I immediately went back to Gabriel because his photos and experience is much better.

Seattle amigos, if you need a GREAT head shot or professional photographer, I highly recommend Gabriel Solis Photography. He did all my son’s portfolio shots and I cannot wait to go back for another shoot! He’s very easy to work with and provides great guidance throughout your session. He kept my son engaged and relaxed throughout the whole shoot and it shows in all his shots.
His advice and guidance afterwards has been invaluable as well, not to mention his depth of knowledge about what works and what doesn’t.

Gabriel is AMAZING — I found him online and appreciated his website enough to give him a try — boy am I glad he did. He has a quaint studio on the North side of Lake Union and he was very helpful in providing information about what to wear/​not wear and how to prep for great head shots. BUT hands down what makes him amazing is that he wanting me to love my headshot and was willing to stay as long as I needed to get the shot I was looking for. I am not overly photogenic but once I got comfortable I was able to get three shots that I absolutely love. If you want to work with someone amazing — who cares about getting you a shot that you want — work with Gabriel!
