Fix Auto Interbay

I was very pleased with my service at Fix Auto in Interbay. Jay Lee took very good care of me and worked hard to get my car done early. My car looked like brand new when I went to pick it up. Thanks Jay!

A million thanks to the wonderful owner of FIX auto. I dropped by Sat few mins after they closed to make an appointment to fix paint damage to my Toyota Landcruiser. My wonderful old truck had lots of bright yellow paint on the passenger door due to an unfortunate collision with a yellow cement barrier during daughters drivers driving lesson earlier that day. Even though he was in the middle of a small construction project at the time, the owner kindly evaluated my car and offered to remove the paint at no charge on the spot for an immediate fix. Based on his kindness and another friends great experience with post accident repair of her car I will be bringing any future business to Fix. (Which based on one current teen age driver with learners permit and another due next year may be soon!)

Amazing customer service and so easy to work with. He understood what the goal was and was able to work within very reasonable costs. My bumper is perfect and as if no damage ever existed. Thank you for quality work and exceptional pricing and service. Will definitely be a returning customer. Highly recommend this place and I am very picky with who services my car.

I had brought my car here to repair my drivers side window that had gotten stuck half way down a while back. I didn’t have an appointment but when I brought my car there everyone was very friendly had had told me it was going to be about a day to repair. They got it done within that time frame and it was working as good as new! And the price was very reasonable. I had also needed my front license plate put on my car; I drove up, asked if they could do it and they did it right then and there for no charge! Will definitely be recommending them to friends.

I only needed license plate installation and these guys didn’t accept a single penny. They care more about the customers than money. I absolutely would recommend.

Charles was amazing and informative. Not only did he do a great job with fixing our nearly totaled Corolla, but he also gave us a lot of tips on how to deal with the insurance company. I would not direct a friend anywhere else if they need a body shop.

I have not had occasion to use them for body work as I need none. However, my Escape struck a rock caissons a flat front tire a few weeks back. The guys at the tire store noted no physical damage but a few days ago I noticed a splash cover hanging down on the right front.
A call to the closest dealer was futile. So I stopped at my local Fix Auto for an opinion. By he manager, Charles had a technician jack up my car and find a proper bolt to replace the stripped one. No charge and on the way in less than ten minutes! Great guys. When I need body work I will definitely go there.

Charles was very helpful! Gave me an accurate estimate and was quick and prompt, and kept me up to date on the repairs of my car. It looked great when I picked it up, and the inside and out were immaculately cleaned! He even went above and beyond to fix up a few things on my fender that he noticed. Great customer service, nice honest people who work at fix it auto! Will be returning if I ever need services again!

Changed review. I had the wrong fix it auto. My bad experience was with the one in Kenmore, WA. I suggest the owner change the name of his place in Interbay to avoid being associated with the Kenmore one.

So I just bought a 2012 Jeep Patriot this July, and recently it’s been developing many problems. The back door handle broke off upon opening as well as my heat going out weeks later. On top of car payments each month, this car is costing me a lot of money I don’t have.
Two weeks after getting my heater fixed, I opened the door to my back seats and there was four inches of water on my back passenger floor. It caused my speakers to short out and my electricity started flickering on my dash.
I began to panic because of my lack of funds. My manager at work suggested I visit AccuCraft collision in Interbay to at least get an estimate on the leak in my Jeep. I called them and the man that answered said he would stay past his shift to give my car a look at. So I brought my Jeep in realizing I couldn’t afford the hourly rate to have them find the leak. The manager would not let me leave without them looking for the leak first, so he promised me a lower rate. It took all day for them to locate it, but they did. They realized my waterproof lining wasn’t efficient and re sealed my entire trunk of the car as well as drying out my trunk full of water. If the manager had not promised me a lower rate because of my lack of funds, my car would’ve been completely ruined by water damage.
They were so friendly and they actually cared about my vehicle issue, I’ve never been so satisfied with a service in my life. They did an amazingly efficient job along with great prices. If you have any auto body work at all take your car to AccuCraft.

So I had some service done on my car earlier this year. I had a front bumper piece replaced, as well as some scratches buffed/​painted over. I was originally very happy with the work that had been done, but I noticed that one of my car panels had been touched-​up with paint that was lighter than the rest of my car.
It wasn’t until 8 months later that I decided to contact Fix Auto Interbay about it. I once again talked to Charles who was more than happy to accommodate me. He told me that I could come in any time during the day to get my paint fixed up. It took just under two days to get all the work done on my car. Not only did Charles opt to fix the paint which I had asked for, but he fixed another deep scratch, and washed my car inside and out, and all of this was free of charge!
I had a problem with my previous service and Charles did everything to make me a happy and satisfied customer. I live all the way down in Renton but I drive up here every time I need something done because of Fix Auto Interbay’s great service and price. I would highly recommend them for any auto body services you may need, and be sure to ask for Charles when you go!

I take back my earlier review from last year. My car got hit this summer and I took it here to get body work done. Charles Jung (Manager and Estimator) was extremely difficult to deal with. He was unresponsive to phone messages and emails. He underestimated the time it took to complete my repair, in addition to the cost. I was told a 7 day repair which ended up being over 12 days. As someone who commutes, this was a huge inconvenience. I was quoted $ 3400 and the price tag went to $ 3600.
They completely botched the repair. Not only did my door handle lock not work or open properly, the car was returned to me with a headlight out. Charles gave me a hard time about bringing it in to repair their repair – even though it was completely their fault. Charles constantly interrupted me when I spoke. He was rude and demanding. The customer should not be getting lectured about the Accucraft/​Fix Auto’s own botched $ 3600-​price tag job. I am extremely disappointed in this business. I am angry at being treated rudely. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and especially not if Charles is handling the work.

Great Service
Charles helped me with my repair as well as getting paid by the insurance company. He went above and beyond to help make sure I got reimbursed in some areas that I didn’t know I could. He seemed very comfortable with how that system all worked.
I was rear-​ended, and the work and fixes they did look good to me.

I love the work they did ! Some kid hit my suv when it was parked and took the front end off and this place helped me to get it to their shop and they did a great job its like new, better then new! They also where great to work with ! They know their stuff !!! Thank you Fix Auto Interbay

HELLLO ANYBODY HOME ???
So I am writing this update to voice my frustration. After picking my vehicle I did a quick walk around. Everything seemed fine. I drove home and that’s when I noticed some issues. There was a screw in the aft drivers side wheel well that was sticking out 3″ so I gave it a twist and it popped out. I crawled under the vehicle and noticed there still was a bracket that was broken. There also was some wire harness that was just hanging out and not clipped in. I called Accuraft and explained the situation. I was told they would order the parts and call to schedule an apt. I was the one to call and schedule a time to drop off. Since no one decided to call. I dropped the car off and it stayed there for 2 or 3 days. I was called and told it was ready. This time when picking it up I crawled on the ground and sure enough only half the problems were fixed. The bracket was still broken clear as day. I was told some excuse about the part was returned blah blah blah. I’m so tired of excuses. Own up to your mistakes. I was told they would come to my house to fix it. Still no call. No apt. No sense of urgency ! I’m fed up ! What a FLIPPEN JOKE !

I love this shop. They did a great job. Beautiful repair. And they are very nice. Love it.

First review I’ve ever written, but feel compelled to share so others can be aware. There body work was great. They are not mechanics though and do not employ any mechanics, so if your car needs any mechanical work done I’d go elsewhere. They will however tell you they can fix it, then later tell you they are not a mechanical shop.
They fully trust what ever their supplier sells them to put in your car. They do not even look in the maintenance manual. In my case their supplier provided them transmission fluid that is not approved by the manufacturer, and now my transmission is ruined. (Nissan owners– use only NS-​2, not a substitute).
We are in the middle of this situation. I’ll update my post appropriately based on the outcome.
It looks like others have had positive experiences with these guys, I’m hoping I can say the same and they will stand behind the work done while my car was in their shop.
