This place is ridiculous. They sent me text & email stating I was pre-​approved. When I went in, Darian said he needed my ss# to look me up. What he did was pull my credit 3x! Then tried to make me feel like crap, as though I am so unworthy of a loan at 605, he needed at least 6k and I would need a vehicle of 10K. Total waste of time. They then pre-​approved my son after he told them he did NOT want to buy a car! They pulled his credit 5x! (Luckily he has a high score) The way they put people down, don’t follow up and have an attitude that the consumer should be so lucky to buy from them. Ridiculous! **I went to Ford of Kirkland the next day. I was treated with respect and told I could absolutely get a car. It was a matter of packaging it correctly. I had to leave before it was done. The next day, Tom McCabe called first thing, verified a couple things & told me to come down. I left within an hour of arrival in my Ford Edge with a National bank financing me. 2K down on a 20K vehicle.

Very happy with the customer service Gokul and the manager showed me. They really wanted to help me get into a car and it went great. They made it so I would have a good payment plan and not feel so worried. Better than other places and I plan on coming back again :)

This dealership sold us a car that was totaled in March 13. No mention of it. We have now paid over $ 4,000 to keep the car on the road. I’ve had numerous conversations with them. Now, they don’t take my calls, hang up on me or send me to erroneous vm. They have sworn at me, tried to intimidate me and have put us in bad shape. They won’t reimburse us for the difference between the salvage value and what we paid for the car, not to mention the repairs. They sold us the car with a salvaged title and didn’t bother to mention it. I have reported them to the Atty General’s office. Pls read the reviews on this dealership. They will rip you off and put your family in danger.
We were just informed yesterday that the vehicle needs an add’l $ 3,500 just to make it safe on the road.
Last week we were promised money, but they wanted to send me a release first via email. They are shady, shady dealers and most likely not even US citizens. Do not buy a car here.

Dealt with Gokul who knew next to nothing about the cars he is selling. First of all, know the product you are selling. I did my research on the car I wanted and I had to tell him the specs on the car. WTF? I told Gokul I was coming from a long way to look at this car and would not be spending my whole off day bickering back and forth over prices, he assured me it would be quick and easy – it was not. After 2 hrs I only got any quickness from him when I started to walk out. They gave me a temp tag until my plates came in. A month later I began calling about my plates as the temp tag was about to expire. After as many as 6 non-​returned phone calls and messages left I had to insist that someone actually walk over to put «Candy» (apparently the only person who can get your tag for you) on the phone. She informed me my tags had been there for over 2 weeks. When I asked her why had she not returned my phone calls she totally ignored me. I called to the «manager» about this and left a message, also with no return phone call. Customer service is non-​existent at this place. If you can, spend your money somewhere else – anywhere else. These people don’t have this many bad reviews for no reason.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Highly unethical business– I wouldn’t be surprised if their rare 5 star reviews are from friends to counteract all of the 1 star reviews. After spending over two hours just trying to get the price of a vehicle, we finally bought an SUV. The next day the check engine light came on. When taking it back to the dealership, they tried to give the excuse about there not being a warranty on this vehicle so we were out of luck. After a lot of hassling, they finally agreed to allow us to take it to one of their approved mechanics. Here’s the messed up part– the mechanic told us that First National wanted them to disconnect the «check engine» light. Turns out the engine was a mess, and it would have cost thousands to repair. After a LOT more hassling, we ended up essentially having to pay them to take back this lemon they sold us and get out of this contract. I wish I had checked Unilocal reviews before going here, and hope others learn from my mistake!

This car buying experience was doomed from the beginning. After being «pre-​approved» I told him I had $ 500 for a down payment and was coming on the bus from Bellevue so if $ 500 wasn’t going to cut it, to let me know so I don’t come all the way out there. He texted me back, «That’ll work, come on.» He also texted a couple times in between to see how close I was. That should have been my first clue. Of course, the $ 500 that was «just fine» turned out not to be fine «based on my credit» which had already been run. If the $ 500 was going to be an issue, he should have told me but that would require integrity. So I buy a 2012 Dodge Journey that had to be jumpstarted 4 times in the first week. Some stuff fell off inside the car and I had to bring it back. When I called, I was getting the runaround. The finance company called me to finalize the loan and when I told her all the problems I was having she said she wasn’t approving the loan until those things were fixed. When FNFL found that out, they couldn’t do enough to help me. Also, there were no floor mats in the car (for $ 15,000, is that too much to ask?) I was told the car was vacuumed so they were in the back. When I brought the car in to have a new battery installed (cuz the other one was kaput, which of course they knew) and have the odds and ends put back on, I asked them to also put the mats that were in the back in the car. When I get in the car, the floor mats for the front aren’t even the ones that go in the car and the one on the passengers side had about 25 – 30 cigarette burns on it. I called the washing guy over and gave him the burned up floor mat and told him to take it to John with my thanks. (I didn’t even want to deal with them after that because the 1 ½ job took 4 hours and I was ready to go). Again, after spending $ 15,000, is it too much to expect floor mats that not only match but aren’t burnt to hell? Now, on at least 3 separate occasions, the car isn’t «detecting» my key fob. I called John the service supervisor who basically said, «Sucks to be you.» His exact words were, «I can’t do anything for you.» Oh, he did tell me that the Caravan’s and Journey’s were having ignition problems which, let me guess, they miraculously didn’t find out about until after my purchase, how convenient. Also, he made not mention of getting my car in for service. So, three months after buying a 3 year old car from them, I had to walk 2 miles to the bus stop with my bad hip and knees and then another mile after I got off the bus to get to work which I was already late for. I heard lots of horror stories from people sitting in the lobby waiting for their cars to be serviced, it wasn’t pretty. So here I am with $ 40 to my name because I just paid my car note and insurance, and a busted car and a big car payment, and I’m trying to figure out how my bad hip and knees are going to get me home. Yeah John, sucks to be me.

I went in after I was told I had financing when i arrived i walked in to some guy sleeping at the desk and one in the back after I found some to help me I went in and requested what car I was originally financed for before I would sign any paper work, I asked multiple times to see the car and they kept pushing the paper work in my face i refused to sign and he said I guess you don’t know how life works and replied I am not stupid I will not sign a contract for a car I have never seen or test drove nor should you, and when I walked away his reply was I don’t need your shit wow great business to buy a car you don’t see or know anything about thank god I was not screwed over by these SCAMMERS!!!

And after all that, I just got a Capital One «Credit Tracker Alert» telling me my credit score just dropped by 18 points. Wow. Nice.

I went to FNFL after receiving a «pre-​approval» letter from Capital One. The first thing I was asked was if I wanted to trade in my Volvo. They took my keys so their guy could assess its value. I explained to Gokul that I just wanted to find out what my interest rate would be and what monthly payment I could expect and that I simply wanted him to help me find a good car, at a good rate, and to be treated fairly.
Before I begin my criticism, I want to explain that I told him within 5 minutes of sitting down at his desk that I wanted an interest rate under 10% and a payment under $ 300. He ran my credit report and told me, «We can probably get you an interest rate below 20%.»
«Ok, no sense in spending any more time on this. My credit sucks and I don’t have a down payment, so I was really just wanting to find out what my options are. Sounds pretty dismal so I just need to come back once I am in a better position.»
He told me there were better loan options and that I just had to pick a car to get the real numbers. «Let’s go look at some European cars and see if they fit your style, and then I’ll put the details into the system and all of the banks and credit unions will compete for your business, so let’s see what happens after that.»
He showed me a 2011 Audi A4 that I really liked, but I was dubious about the 130,000 miles on the odometer. It seemed to be in great shape and was vaguely priced at around $ 12,000. He insisted I take it for a drive or his manager would be «really angry» with him if he went through the whole process just to find out I wasn’t happy with how it drove. So I took it around the block and it was smooth and comfortable. I really liked the car.
So he ran my application through the system. The first thing he came back with was 25% and $ 499/​month.
I told him, «yeah, that’s nothing like what I told you I wanted when I sat down at your desk. I don’t want to waste any more of my time. Oh, can I get my keys back?»
«Of course, I’ll have to go get them. So this interest rate and monthly payment is because of your credit score and the high mileage on the car, [a whole bunch of explanation of how auto loans work and 15 minutes of talk]» was his response. «I’ve got a bunch of other cars that we could probably get you into. Let me go check the inventory.» Gone for 10 minutes.
«Can I get my keys?» I asked when he returned. «Yeah, I just have to go get them from [something vague and official sounding]». 5 minutes later, no keys.
«Let me get my finance guy. He can make this work.» And I was sitting at someone else’s desk.
«Did you get my keys?»
«So, [a whole bunch of words about how auto loans work and some rule that banks or the state or some kind of regulation works so that they simply cannot sell you a car for more than 110% of what they could get „at auction“ for it].» I have no idea if any of this was dishonest, but whatever. This all sounded legit. And he’d be right back with my numbers.
I walked over to Gokul again and asked for my keys. «Oh, get them from that guy.» That guy: «Oh, I think they’re in the office.» 5 minutes more and I finally got my keys back.
«This VW is in your price range and you’re going to like these numbers. $ 7,000 plus taxes and licensing, plus fees, a 17% interest rate and $ 217/​mo on a 60 month loan,» he told me.
I reminded him that I wanted an interest rate under 10%. By my (rudimentary) calculations, a 17% interest rate meant over 35% of my car payment would be pure interest for the first year. A $ 7,000 car was going to cost me $ 217 a month for 60 months.
This is a long review, but I couldn’t figure out how to express how frustrating and stupid it was. «Pre-​approved» and «Guaranteed Approval!» mean nothing if you can’t have the salesmen give you an honest answer the moment they know they’re not going to meet the limits you set when you walked in the door.
I arrived at 3:15 pm and said, «I just want to know what the situation is with my horrible credit. I want a payment under $ 300 and an interest rate under 10%» I didn’t leave until 5:45 and I never got a single straight answer.
Two stars because I liked that Audi for $ 13,000 ($ 15,000 if you get it on credit for some legit sounding reason that probably wasn’t). If you have $ 13,000 and are ok gambling on a 4 year old car with 130,000 miles, you should check it out.

Best car buying experience ever. Marcel Trujillo responded to my email quickly, we made an appointment and took the car for a road test. There was no pressure, and Marcel gave us all the pertinent information, including Carfax. We bought the car and it was all so easy.

Just bought a 2007 Saturn outlook with only 35 000 miles. The staff were very helpful and courteous. We are on a fixed income so price was a big factor not to mention my approval from the bank only allowed for 100% loan to value. After learning this the sales manager Yonas went to the owner and got special approval to allow a deep discount on the asking price for the vehicle so that it would match with what USAA said the vehicle was worth. Couldn’t be happier with our purchase and the exceptional service provided by first national. If you are a veteran or just want a great car for the right price definitely go here.

I drove down to FNFL one day to look at a 08 Hyundai Sonata they said they had in stock on their website. When I arrived however, the car was no where to be found. I was told if there are NO PICTURES OF A CAR ON THEIR WEBSITE, IT LIKEY IS NOT IN STOCK. I wish knew this before I had driven down from Lynnwood, but the salesman was nice about it and showed me a couple of other cars similar to the one I was looking at. He also told me that Sonata’s are great cars and that I should look at getting one even though they had none in stock at the time in my price range.
So overall, I don’t really think FNFL was trying to pull anything, and they seem like decent people to buy a car from, but their internet department certainly needs an overhaul.

Had a great experience with them. Found a nice vehicle with a GREAT price. Had some issues with the car which they took care of on their nickel (and it was probably hundreds of dollars with parts & labor). Were very nice, handled everything as well as anyone could ever ask for. Told them I wanted to take the car for a buyer’s inspection and they were all for it.
Got my registration and plates in a few weeks, no hassle.
Would definitely do business with them again.

Just got off the phone with Russel from the Seattle First National Auto. He was nice at first, then interrupted me a lot, then proceeded to make offensive assumptions about me and what I wanted in a vehicle. Definitely would not do business with them. When I stopped him to correct him on some some his wrong assumptions, and then told him he was being offensive, the first words out of his mouth should have been «I’m sorry» instead of continuing to make MORE assumptions and then tell me «whatever», before I was so angry I hung up.
Don’t give these clowns your business. Especially if they are going to continue to employ guys «with 22 years experience» who can’t use tact or courtesy on the phone.
After reading some other reviews on here, it appears this kind of rude behavior is standard for this Russel guy. Go figure.
Update: James, the finance manger just called and when I told him I wasn’t interested, he was again very rude stating «good luck getting out of that buried car» and hung up on me. I would buy a vehicle from this dealership if they were giving them away.

And sorry it was not a miscommunication, John, it was no communication by three of your salesperson and one manager who was to bothered to get back to me if he could fix the van I had every intention to buy. I Secured the financing with that Van in mind. Thank God your sales team didn’t bother to get back to me or my partner from what I have read in reviews. So here is my original review:. Every so often in a persons life every so often a persons life they will have a story so ridiculous and so bad about involving a customer service that it must be shared. Well that was my situation with the national not only did I not get a call back from Gani, after a phone call we had following our visit to their lot to see car (that was sold a year back) when I asked the price of a Hyndaui Tuscon that I told that $ 14,000. I told him that was more than I was wanting to spend was looking more in the 8000 to 10 000 range. No call was informed later left sick. I secured financing for loan from 4000 to 23 000. Found van 7500 sent many emails and emails finally called 20 before closed, spoke with a Russel, who assured me first thing at 10 am would locate car and call. Noon came and nothing. So I showed up at 1240 to national for The Hyundai entourage, they did have this. I was helped by Steve, when I asked if russell was in he asked why I thought you said you didn’t want to deal with him. I responded no I don’t but curious why he didn’t call. His response was they sell over 500 cars annually, and that he and his car salesman are not Hungry. I said well as someone who has history of sales experience hungry or not you make every customer feel important. He said he saw my point and would talk to Russell and Gani. I loved car told Steve just needed to have my mechanic take a look and then if all good back at 330 to buy. I also gave him 3 cars my partner wanted to look at buying as well so we could do both all same day.
Van key would not come out. Driver side passenger door would not open. Called Steve told him problem been happening last hour and half. That I had kids and would be securing them in our vechile with my teenage daughter and would need to meet him out front to quickly have him take over car. He was not out front but about 6 other sells people out front. I asked where Steve was. They said inside. I said we’ll I have kids in car in next parking lot and keys won’t come out please tell him to call me when problem fixed. The one man said now you don’t want to dissapoint Steve come in and talk to him. Like I am there to serve their needs and not that they are there to provide a service. Gani on phone laughing. Steve laying back in his chair with hands on head laughing with employees. I frantically inform him kids in car, it’s a hot day need to go. Long story shorter Steve just casually lounging in chair no care it seems from one parent to another, that I don’t have time for straight BS. Hey came to Van tried to take keys out that wouldn’t budge I asked that he have his guys look at it. He said sure. But as you can guess he never bothered. So my husband ended up buying car down 99 2005 dodge stratus in great condition for around 3000. And I am still looking now for Dodge avenger 2014

I came in told them my expectations and that I only wanted to look. They didn’t pressure me into filling out an application and based on my budget they showed me a few cars got to test drive 2 and they worked with me to bring down the price and after finding the car I wanted a Volvo btw they actually got me approved by a bank and yes I was expecting high interest but that’s how it’s played y’all

wish i’d never gone here! waste of money and time. We were basically promised a car. and that promise was not delivered. we were told that we had gotten approved for a loan which was great. about 3 weeks later, i get a call from Jeremy (salesperson) who tells me that our tabs and license plates have arrived and are ready to be picked up. four days later i get a call from juan, who tells me that the bank denied the loan and we need to bring the car back. Instead of waiting for us to bring the car back the car was repo’d that same night. smh. they claimed they tried to contact both my husband and i several times, which is not true because I even went as far as getting a printout of my call log for that whole month from my phone company to verify this. Bullshit, lies, waste of time and money!

This is a follow up to the review I posted earlier regarding my Accent and the bad brakes etc…
After I posted the review. … the manager contacted me to see if they could make things right by me and to take down my poor review.
My brother took all the paperwork about including receipts for the brake job and belts … etc. to them on Christmas Eve. They asked why we didn’t use their service center. I explained that two times their service center had said the brakes were good when indeed they were not. They took the paperwork… said they would call when the check was ready to reimburse me for the brake job… no call, no check… This is now towards the end of January and they have promised check 4 times now…
PLEASE PEOPLE SAVE YOUR MONEY… GO ELSEWHERE !!!

I love these people! I bought my RX8 there in October. They took my protégé as a trade in even though it had some serious body damage. It was a painless and fast transaction.
After three months the engine blew and I was fighting with the warranty company who didn’t want to pay for it or a rental. After calling Jennifer at the dealership in a panic she fixed everything. She assured me that I wouldn’t be responsible for any of the cost and they even gave me a loaner to drive while my car was being fixed. She stayed in contact with me the entire time and even gave me her cell number while she was on vacation if I needed anything. It’s rare to find a place with good customer service and these guys are great!

I called to ask if they could give me the information about a car that they posted on Craigslist and the guy literally answers «sorry I can’t, I’m a rude jerk» so I hung up. I for damn sure don’t doubt that he is and that they are worth your time.
