Fido N Scratch – Mt. Baker Park

This is why small business is failing. I bought a light for my dogs collar. After using it two times, it ripped and was no longer usable. I went back to the store and they refused to replace, refund or stand behind their crappy product in any way. That is the very last time I step foot in there. Next time — amazon.

The store is a decent size and very clean.
There was only one staff member when I went and welcoming/​helpful with questions.
They really only carry a standard set of toys/​accessories/​treats — I found things I liked but wished there was more variety.
Cute shop but just expected more, especially based off of other reviews on here.

I absolutely love this store and so does my dog. She leads me to it while out on walks all the time. The owner is such an animal lover and so sweet to my dog on every visit. They have a great selection of healthy treats and adorable doggie accessories! Kinda pricey but I’d prefer to spend a little extra knowing I’m supporting such a great local business.

Love the store and I usually stop by whenever i am visiting my parents. The owner and all who work there have always been very helpful with their suggestions on dog food, toys and any other dog knowledge they give :)

Do not shop there. They lie. I told the shop keeper that my dog was a picky eater while I was buying her some dog treats. They told me that I could return them if she did not like them or did not eat them. When I tried to return them (she barely touched them), they told me that I could not. They are deceitful, and I will not shop there again.

Stopped in on Mother’s Day with my puppy and felt like Family! Great store, great owner, great information about trying out a new food for pup, love this place. I and the puppy both had stimulus overload, cannot wait to go back. Rygel, the puppy, is already making a wish list for our next visit, thank you Melanie.

On one of my first visits, I asked Melanie, the owner, about a good food option for my Shiba whose allergies had become worse over time. He had started to experience hair loss and bad itching. Melanie recommended Nature’s Balance and within a week, he had shown significant improvement. In less than two months, his coat was back to being thick and shiny and his itching had gone away.
Our regular visits to Fido-​n-​Scratch are always the highlight of my dog’s day. He loves all of the special attention he receives from the staff. In addition to a great selection of food and treats, the store has a wide and unique variety of pet toys/​merchandise/​gifts. And whatever they don’t have on hand, they are always happy to bring in.

I was recently in the Store that is inside of A Dog’s Life Doggy Daycare. I really enjoy the idea of a retail place where I take my dog for daycare. Its great to have that one stop shopping feeling. I also like it because if one of the staff in the daycare let me know I need something they always take me to the person in the store and i dont have to wonder around trying to find what I need. I really love how the two business’s coexist. I always have shopped somewhere else but since Chris from the doggy daycare has shown me that FidoNscratch have everything I look for I am now a loyal fan and have sent a few friends here.

I brought my newly adopted (and crazy) puppy here to look for a new stylish collar. While browsing, one of the staff (and I think owner) kindly approached me and offered to help find colors and styles that would go well with my dogs coat. She was very helpful and I really appreciated her casual approach to helping me decide. She also noticed that I was using my new Wonder-​Walker harness incorrectly and kindly offered info on how to better use the product and tips for training. She was a genius, all of her information worked so well! I was so glad that I had wandered in there that day because she was a life saver! Six months later I am still remembering what she said while walking my pooch and am so grateful to not be pulled around by my dog anymore.
They also have a great selection of dog collars, leashes, harnesses, etc and the prices are not what you’d expect for an upscale dog boutique– they are actually affordable!
I will definitely continue shopping here and recommending them to friends.

All The Best, Next To Nature, Mud Bay… all great places to shop for your companions, stores have knowledgeable staff, product line is extensive. If you can’t find a product that you need, they’ll probably order the item for you and continue stocking it. Customer service is usually of quality in ‘most ’ of the stores. But if you want the best of everything, on every shopping experience, I would highly recommend heading to Fido N-​Scratch and have a visit with Melanie and wander her store. It’s always a positive and fun experience, esp. when dogs are wandering the store with their companions! Cheers. Mike

I travelled from Bellevue to check this store out because of such great reviews. When I first walked in, I like the vibe the place gives and how nicely organized everything is. The front part of the store consists of mostly gifts, toys and collars/​leashes. At the back, you will find kibble, treats and some grooming supplies. They have some selection of sweaters but nothing fancy. The staff greeted me and my dog as we walked in and I really appreciated that. We were actually looking for raw food for my dog but didn’t see the freezer. I guess I need my eyes checked as I just found out today that they do have a large selection of raw food. Seems like they are opening another branch in July so I will check out that store too.

High end stuff for your pooch! Great place to buy gifts for animal lovers.
It cracked me up when I went in here looking for doggie shampoo and the lady gladly showed me the selection, pointing out that they are «all vegan, organic products and we also carry the soy candles in matching scents.»

Our go to pet shop. The best and coolest stuff for cats and dogs (including cannoli, doughnuts and cookies!).
Excellent selection of highest quality foods, great toys, cool collars & leashes and everything else you could need for your pet.
Melanie always gives our dog a treat when we’re in, and gives us excellent advise on what to get. Super friendly and knowledgeable.

This place has it all. Very hip for a pet store. Do all my dog shopping here.

LOVE This place! Love the owner Melanie. She is awesome. This store has a great selection and if they do not have it, they will order it in for you. It is in my neighborhood and I buy all my food there. They have a great selection. GREAT place for very unique and cute dog gifts (nice bowls, costumes, jackets, collars). If you are not in the neighborhood, it is definitely worth the trip. Highly recommend!

My fiancé and I absolutely love this store. It is so bright & clean and the owner is so nice!
We have 2 dogs, a 14 year old golden retriever and a 2 year old toy fox terrier. Our older dog has some health problems and I love the extra care she gets when we visit Fido-​N-​Scratch. The owner is always knowledgeable and has a variety of natural suggestions to help with her joint and skin problems. The place also has a ton of options for our little guy who often gets chilly back at home, and appreciates the sweaters and jackets.
Both of our dogs eat specialty organic and natural foods and I have had a really hard time finding it, but sure enough she had it. She has the cutest toys also! Stuff you could never find at other stores… and it is so organized (I am a sucker for a well put together store)
I love the natural options and the variety in this store and appreciate the time and care the owner gives me every time we go in.

Great, pet supply store. Not only are there great supplies for your pet, there are fun things for their owners too.
The owner, takes time with every customer. Such a nice thing and departure from the big box stores.
