Fetch Doggie Daycare

I took my dog here last year for the first time. They seemed ok, and I was planning to use them again. When I walked by yesterday, it looks like they are closed. I just called the number and its been disconnected. Bummer. I really like supporting small businesses and there don’t seem to be a lot of local dog grooming places.

This place should be shut down.
Owners must not get to see the back where the dogs are kept — no grass, just gravel and very little shade. Most dogs are lining the fence were there is the smallest amount of shade. I’ve witnessed their ‘care takers’ spraying the dogs with a water bottle if they get the tiniest bit excited.
I brought my dog here once and he came back super filthy I chalked it up to him playing with other dogs. I went to take him again and he wouldn’t go near the building I couldn’t even drag him in he put the breaks on so hard.
Shelter dogs are treated better than this.
If you love your dog I’d suggest looking somewhere else or leaving them at home they’d be better off than going to this place.

Brought my pup in for some much needed grooming and was generally happy with the brush work except for one issue.
Noticed my pup was limping after I had picked him up from the groomers. I checked his paws and realized they had sheared the fur between his paws WAY too close!!! I mean, the skin was raw!!! I appreciate the thorough grooming job but seriously! I was told he did well so let’s not pin it on «oh he was very unruly which is why we accidentally almost sheared his paw off.» I wish people realized that an animal’s paws are very very sensitive parts of their bodies not to be hacked around by a pair of shears. You should have taken a pair of scissors to his paws instead of choosing expediency and sticking with the buzzer or whatever you use! Common sense!
I appreciate the generally good grooming job but the devil is in the details. I recommend this place so long as you are explicit about this issue. Personally, I will not return due to this issue.

I’m not comfortable leaving my son or daughter with a childcare operator unless I can see the interior. Same applies for my dog. And thus, when Fetch wouldn’t let me see any of the living areas provided for dogs who are boarding at Fetch, I had no choice but leave.
In fact, the one Fetch representative present when I brought in my dog wouldn’t let me see anything beyond the front desk. Because the dogs are kept inside the perimeter of the facility 100% of the time (they don’t take them out for walks), I was particularly interested to see what the «living conditions» look like. My requests were refused. First excuse was «insurance.» Second excuse was «it will upset the dogs.»
I was invited to look over one fence and through a second fence. THis is the same «view» available to anyone walking by on the street. There was no way to see anything, let alone develop a sense of the cleanliness or order of the outdoor yard space. I asked if I might enter a gate in the first fence and peer thru the narrow openings in the second. No, this was sure to upset the dogs.
Forget it.

I always feel great dropping off our dog, Margot, for the day, groom or boarding at Fetch. She always comes home happy and clean.
Not to mention the wonderful service. Recently we had a family emergency and needed to fly out of town for several days. I called and immediately told that they’d take care of picking Margot up, watching her and dropping her off. They didn’t question payment, they didn’t hesitate, they were willing and ready.
It’s fortunate to have such a caring, responsive and dedicated team/​facility in our neighborhood!

I just moved to the neighborhood about 4 months ago and had been on the lookout for a groomer for my dog. I previously took him to Petco, basically because it was convenient and decent priced, but realized there are none close to me so we checked out Fetch which is minutes away from me. I am so happy I took my pup here! First of all, the groomer (can’t remember her name) was super sweet when my dog was anxious and reassured me he would be fine. When I came to pick him up he looked beautiful! The pricing was comparable to Petco which makes me want to continue to take him there. I only which the daycare was cheaper.

After 20 years of owning dogs, this was the best groomer experience I’ve had. Jen did an amazing job, and helped me learn how to better keep-​up our Golden ourselves. Our dog had a wonderful time with the staff and other dogs, and had never looked better. We’ll absolutely be back. The cost was very worth it. Thanks!

I have been taking my dog to Fetch for the past 2 years and she loves it and I do too! The staff is always friendly and make sure the dogs are kept in check so all dogs are able to play. They have an outdoor play area right there which I prefer to trips as other places do, to dog parks. I would highly recommend Fetch to anyone!

We brought our 14 year-​old shepherd mix in for her annual summer haircut about a month ago. Jen, the groomer, did a great job! She was very concerned about our old dog’s comfort level, and gave her lots of breaks during the trim. When my boyfriend came to pick up the dog, she was hanging out in the front room at Fetch (rather than cowering in a kennel, which is what usually happens when we bring her to one of the large chains for grooming.) I was worried that the Madrona location would mean higher than average prices, but the price was similar to what we have paid in the past at other groomers. Nice work Jen!

I cannot rave about this place enough! When I first got my dog he was dog and human aggressive, but after some serious training he was ready to enroll in daycare. Fetch was willing to give him a temperament test and my dog passed! After spending just a few days there his entire demeanor changed at dog parks and on walks. He is so much better interacting with other dogs and he even knows how to play. Every time that we drop him off he just goes running right in — but luckily he is always happy to see us. He comes home with a huge smile on his face, eats his dinner and then passes out for the rest of the day. As a bonus, they use a lot of incense there so it smells good, and so does my dog’s fur when he gets home!
We have also boarded our dog at Fetch and that turned out well. He really doesn’t like being boarded, but when he comes home from other places he is always really unhappy, needy and has to be pulled back in. But at Fetch, he is happy to see us, yet will run right back in when we drop him off for daycare so we know he did OK.
We have only had our dog groomed once at Fetch, and must say they did a fantastic job! Our dog is fearful of certain things, but they got him into a summer cut and even gave him a bath all while making him smile. Not an easy feat to accomplish.
I can’t recommend Fetch enough!!!

My dog is very high strung and can be/​is difficult. I was glad to find out that the groomer was experienced and had no problem keeping my dog comfortable.
Another perk is location. Easy to park or pull up for drop offs and if you have a few min to kill as I did there are great coffee shops and a park nearby.
I will definatly be a regular customer!

Fetch is the best! I have been taking my 2 dogs here for years. Before Fetch I tried a few other places and my dogs actually looked so upset on the webcam that I had to go get them in the middle of the day. But Fetch is a different story! I think if I opened my front door they’d run straight there. Once they see that we’re at Fetch, they bolt out of the car and run in without even looking back. They’re raised my puppy since he was 12 weeks old, and they even took special care of my older dog in his last months. At the end of the day, my dgos are tired and happy. But never too tired to get their special treat on the way out. My dogs are absolutely like family and I would never send them someplace where I didn’t have the utmost trust in the care that they were getting. I’ve also had them groomed there — always great! They get sweet little bandanas to wear home on grooming days. In fact, the groomers are so sweet that sometimes my pup runs over to the grooming side to hang out. That is saying something!
I read the bad review a few down and have to say, I just don’t believe it. I know Brenda and the staff at Fetch care so much about the dogs and their well-​being is top priority. There have been a few times over the years (my dogs go every day) when puppies will be puppies and he’s had a little scratch or a nick and they always let me know — even when it’s so minor I’d never even notice. I certainly hope that anyone reading these reviews can take to heart that I’ve been going to Fetch for 5 years and have had zero bad experiences. They really are fantastic.

I just moved to Madrona and was very nervous about bringing my teacup yorkie to daycare. After her first day she was happy as a clown. She was intermixed with large and small dogs throughout the day in the yard and indoors and got to socialize and become comfortable with having doggie friends. Prior to her time here she was scared and shy around other dogs, after leaving doggie daycare she had an air of confidence. We were laughing saying that she had gone from a little nervous nelly to ms. independent in less than one day.
Two days later I took her on a walk, she led the way (without distractions of sniffing bushes and sidewalks) turned left on 34^th ave without me calling her, walked to the door of doggie daycare and wouldn’t move (she wanted to go back!) it was hilarious and so cute. I 100% recommend bringing your dog here!

My little poodle has been groomed all across the United States. In his short life, he has lived in 3 states and been tended to by a handful of different groomers. Finding a good groomer is a trick, and usually it requires a couple of tries before getting it right.
Not in Seattle. Referred to Fetch by our vet shortly after relocating here, we have found the place to keep going for our grooming needs. The place is adorable, the staff is friendly, and the groomer, Jen, is exceptional at what she does. In addition to making my little man look presentable to the world, she somehow has made him zen about bathing. I first noticed it when I bathed him at home for the first time after his second grooming session at Fetch. He wasn’t nervous, he didn’t wiggle, he just plain stood and took it, relaxed as a dog in the bathing process could be. He didn’t even flinch at the hair dryer. Who is this dog?
Either Fetch does something really right, or they replaced my dog with a little robot when I went to pick him up sometime. But there is the same little marking on his right rear leg… if this is a robot, it’s an excellent one!

Great toys and treats for dogs –
Unfortunately, they aren’t open weekends which means I end up shopping elsewhere a lot of the time. Their limited hours are Tue-​Fri, 2pm — 7pm. If you can get there during business hours it’s worth a visit.

Excellent selection of different treats and foods that are guaranteed to make your dog, cat, or whatever jump around. I usually like to get my cat some nip treats when I’m in this part of town.
