I had sunglasses that were way too big for me, so I googled «glasses repair» without even knowing if they could be fixed. I stumbled into Eyes on Fremont without realizing their business model, and was greeted immediately with «how can I help you?» I showed them my problem which they examined thoroughly and immediately they took my sunglasses in the back.
Maybe 10 minutes later, one of the employees comes back with my sunglasses and has me try them on — they were perfect! They did this for no charge and so quickly. I was VERY impressed with their customer service, especially how they treated a non-​paying customer. Great work, Eyes on Fremont.

I went in for new frames and lenses, after recently moving to Seattle and needing a new optometrist (but not needing an eye exam quite uet) and a super nice woman helped me right away, picking out new frames with me (giving me honest opinions!) and giving me all the insurance forms I needed to send in. Then, they had the new frames & lenses ready for me that same day – I was in and out in 35 minutes, with brand new spectacles! Most pleasant experience I’ve ever had at a medical office, I highly recommend Eyes on Fremont!

beware! don’t go into Eyes on Fremont unless you are willing to walk out with glasses. you won’t be disappointed by the awesome selection and the brilliant staff. When I lived in LA I would travel back to visit my parents and pop on over to Eyes on Fremont for glasses. Love this place.

This is one of the best stores in Seattle to purchase glasses. Bill has helped me buy a couple pairs and he is awesome. Very friendly and gives great advice. Price is half what you would pay at Market Optical. I highly recommend.

The place to go! Excellent service and personal attention. Nate was great! Everyone was very attentive and not pushy. Great selection.

All I can say is Marvelous… there was always someone to help right away. They helped me with my first pair of glasses ever and they were ready the next day. Special thanks for being supportive with my service dog and disabled child… it’s a bit hard to find but we’ll worth finding.

They are so nice, knowledgeable, and have a great turnaround time. I was impressed with their frame selection.
I loved that they recognized me every time I came in, even tho I had only been there a few times.
I also loved their prices, and the different ranges they had for frames. My lenses were inexpensive because of my prescription, but I was able to get both expensive and inexpensive frames.

Great selection of eyeglasses and very helpful staff. The man that was helping me this last weekend pulled out a variety of excellent frames from the back and I ended up purchasing two.
It was very busy (crowded) on Saturday but still got great service and attention.

Well, I have to eat my previous three star review. I was bothered by their pricing philosophy of charging more for frames unless you purchased lenses through their store. In response to my *slightly* negative review they actually changed their policy. I now can’t think of a single bad thing to say.
The fact that they read these reviews and take criticism to heart demonstrates their commitment to their customers.

Word to the wise: although they are a contracted provider with certain insurances, they DO bill (far) over the maximum allowable. Furthermore, they will not post their fees anywhere or inform you of the cost beforehand. Exam was fine, but communication was poor. Was frustrated by the lack of transparency.

Jennifer is your go-​to guru for all your cat-​eye eyewear needs. She is truly a cat ladies’ cat lady with some serious style. She had me in and out in 15 minutes flat with some very snazzy cat-​eye eyeglasses picked out — A cat lady knows what a cat lady wants!
This is my second purchase at Eyes On Fremont, the first pair of cat-​eyes I got here a few years ago. EOF carries unique eyewear from obscure European designers that you won’t find elsewhere.

Great selection of fashionable frames and terrific sales folks who are helpful but not intrusive in the vein of «HEY, LET’S GET YOU INTO SOME G**D*** GLASSES RIGHT NOW!» like some other places.
I have had several really positive experiences here… I like how the staff are gently honest as to whether or not a particular style of frame looks good on my ugly ol’ mug.
Turnaround time is good. It ain’t cheap but you get what you paid for, most definitely. Fight Evil!

OK so I bought glasses on Saturday and they were ready Monday. So speedy! They also gave me 3 cleaning cloths and a spray bottle of cleaning solution that’s refillable! They are so accommodating and speedy. I love it.

After many suggestions that this is where I should get my eye wear, I finally went in. Millie helped me out, and she found the perfect pair of glasses for me. I never would have picked them! The lenses seem to be better somehow, then when my eye doctor did them for my old glasses. Love this place. They do not inflate their prices, they have products from small companies so you won’t see your glasses on tons of other people.

They continue to be leaders in eye fashion, customer service and being a responsible local business in the community. Love this place!

I was on the hunt for a new pair of frames (mine were 4 years old). A friend recommended Eyes on Fremont to me.
They have a HUGE selection of colors and shapes to pick from. The sales associates also have frames behind the counter that they can bring out if you just aren’t finding what you’re looking for.
I originally stopped by Colaizzo because that’s where my original frames were for and they wanted $ 1100 for a pair i liked! The frames and lenses I got at Fremont were around $ 300.
My optometrist ended up giving me the wrong prescription for lenses and Eyes on Fremont allows for 1 free lenses change out to fix them.
Over all the experience didn’t feel like I was buying a car. I didn’t feel pressured or hurried to buy. The store atmosphere is very relaxed.
AND based on the price alone I would recommend them again and again.

Since this is my 3^rd pair of glasses from EOF, I feel pretty good about giving them 5 star rating on Unilocal.They did right by me in 2009, again in 2010 and just recently today. Most of what I like about the store is covered in other reviews (selection, customer service, Dr. Fast) so I’ll stick to one aspect I love — the people that make their lenses.
4 years ago I brought in a pair of sunglasses to competitor «LC» and was told no way they could put in my prescription in those frames. Quick drive to EOF and it was like «they think they can do it, we’ll let you know» — and they did it.
This year, a birthday present was a trip to another competitor (nice coupon, thanks mom) for a new pair of glasses. I wear progressives around –3.0 and now I’m wearing coke bottle thick lenses? Long story short and 2 exchanges later, I leave that place and walk into EOF. Get set up with good glasses. I dont know how they were so different but save yourself the literal headache I got from bad glasses and get it right the first time at Eyes on Fremont.
