Caffe Vita missed all the marks for me. I considered asking for a refund but I was too busy devouring my sandwich from Paseo to take a break and walk back to the coffee shop — Caffe Vita wasn’t going to ruin my sandwich too! –Waited nearly 10 minutes to order; there were only two people in front of me in the queue. –Coffee was lukewarm at best; a coolish bath would have been warmer. –Coffee(non-fat mocha) tasted like cardboard; questioned if the cardboard cup had disintegrated into the coffee but then realized the chances of that, especially with lukewarm coffee were slim –Just shy of $ 10 for two slightly warm 12oz mochas that tasted like cardboard. No thanks. The only neat thing about this coffee shop was that the woman taking orders was a sign language interpreter and the woman behind me in the queue was deaf and they signed to one another and that was really awesome to witness. It didn’t make up for the awful coffee, however.

Love it here. Nails my almond milk latte every time. Its hard to make almond milk velvety and creamy — but they do it. The staff is so friendly and I feel comfortable every time. Sometimes hard to get a table to do some work. There is a laundry mat next door so its a great place to hang out while waiting for laundry.

I happen to be staying in Seattle on a 5-week(work) project, in Bellevue where I am hard-pressed to find a truly great cup of coffee. I decided to start trying various locally roasted coffees, so made the trip here in the hopes of getting a great brew and take some ground stuff back to my hotel to make my own french press. I ordered a Sumatra pour over but ended up with Conga instead, after being informed they were out of Sumatra. I had the feeling not many people order pour overs??? Anyway this coffee was so outstanding I did not need to put anything in it(hard core… no milk, no sugar), and enjoyed every sip. I took some queen Anne blend back to my hotel(had them grind it for me), and it smells amazing. I can’t wait to try tomorrow morning. I might add that in buying a pound of coffee, my pour over was complimentary! I’m impressed.

Walked in the rain to go here this morning. Stood in line for 10 minutes with absolutely no recognition from the staff. Just a simple«hello» or «one moment» would have made me happy. When I got to the front of the line, the staff were silent and basically pretended not to notice me. I left without buying anything.

This was a pretty average coffee shop. Its aesthetic is pretty legit as a café. What makes the corner café stand out is how its walls are taken up by its windows. I visited around 3−4PM and the place was welly-lit by natural lighting. They also have an assortment of French presses sold at the front as well as other caffeine-oriented gadgets. My order of caffeine was just okay. I had a latte and it wasn’t anything special.

Caffe Vita may not bring La Dolce Vita(the sweet life), but it is a small shop for Caffè Vita(the coffee life) … and, in Seattle, just about everyone is livin la vita del caffè . If you are south of the Woodland Park Zoo and can find parking(or lucky enough to live/work close by then Caffe Vita has decent java to satisfy just about any caffinator. My wife and I weren’t blown away, but weren’t disappointed either with sippin’ a couple lattes and sharin’ a fruit tart from the small display case by the register. With lots of windows and a dog friendly layout, there were several folks hanging out(aka working from home) with their dog in tow. It looked like the kind of peaceful afternoon I wish I could enjoy more often. For those livin’ Caffe Vita near Woodland Park, you’re gonna need coffee and you’re gonna need it often … so be thankful for the convenience of Caffe Vita cause average coffee is better than no coffee, right?

Bright and open with delicious coffee, good art and music, a chill vibe, and a decent selection of gluten free snacks. Almond is my milk of choice, and they have it. They were also very helpful with take-out coffee service for an event I hosted at the Fremont Abbey last year. One of my favorite morning walk destinations.

This location is a cozy little shop on Fremont, perfectly situated by other shops and businesses around it. Unfortunately, not great for crowds due to it’s small square footage. The barista was polite enough, but didn’t call out my drink order when it was up. I waited in my seat for a while, then looked around to see an iced coffee on the bar. I assumed it was mine because I was the only customer who had ordered anything(everyone else in the café was already seated and engrossed in their newspapers/laptops/friends/work). She seemed much more alert, present, and friendly with the three or four other people that came in about 10 minutes after I did. At least, she asked them about their days and called out the drinks when she was done making them. Coffee was pretty good and the pastries looked yummy. My friend had an iced chai tea and a donut and seemed to enjoy it. Also looked like pets allowed– one guy had his large dog sprawled on the floor napping behind him while he tap-tap-tapped on his laptop on a barstool by the window.

Cute space and great service. I came here to work away from the office on a weekday and it gets packed in there! Only downside is the plugin outlets are only available on the far right side where the leather benches are. Wish there were more plugins otherwise I’d be here every other day to work.

My boyfriend and I try to stop by each time we’re on a walk around the neighborhood. The coffee is wonderful, the donuts always fresh and the baristas are great! Perfect little neighborhood coffee shop — we’re fans!
Great coffee, friendly baristas and a calm give combine to make this an awesome place to get some work done.

Love this local coffee shop! It was very busy with just one barista working and a long time of customers. I ordered the zen green tea which was great!

One of my favorite coffee shops to work from! It’s not a very«central» location, but it’s in a nice part of Fremont and surrounded by quite a few nice lunch/dinner spots. It’s a small(ish) space, but I usually have luck finding a table or a window seat in the bar-like seating area. The other great thing is that you can frequently see cute dogs in the coffee line. I haven’t interacted with the baristas much, but they all seem to be pretty nice… and they make delicious drinks! They also carry DRY Soda(love!) and kombucha, so I don’t always end up getting coffee drinks here. They have some good pastries, but my favorite item is the eggplant piadina. I fell in love with it when I worked near the Queen Anne Caffe Vita, and I love getting it here whenever I’m hungry.

If this were solely an americano coffee review, I’d give it 5 stars. Having tried three different coffee places in Seattle in one weekend, Caffe Vita’s americano was outstanding and leaps and bounds ahead of the others(I won’t be mean and list the others). The first few sips weren’t great(not sure why) but as you keep drinking, everything really works and it just starts to taste outstanding. I don’t get how that’s possible but it is. It was so good we ended up buying a bag of coffee to take back to Canadia. Now, I said if this were solely a coffee review, but it isn’t. I’d give the customer service here 2 – 3 stars at best. A smile would be nice. I get that maybe you deal with a-holes all day long but when I’m in a good mood and want a cup of coffee and you give me an apathetic look… it makes me wonder why I even came here(for the coffee, I know…). Smile — it really won’t kill you. I’m not asking us to be buds and to have lengthy intellectually stimulating conversation about our favorite types of cucumbers, but I am asking to be acknowledged, thrown a half-arse smile and a few words more than the price of my beverage. Hey, maybe asking what you could get for me would be nice instead of me going up to you and having to initiate. Maybe I’m not hipster enough. Maybe I didn’t give you the hipster wink or handshake or show you the membership card. Aside from the lack of service and acknowledgement as a human being, I really enjoyed the area. It’s nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Seattle, relax and drink a cup of coffee. I’d come back for the coffee and the environment but would gladly skip the side of attitude that serves my coffee.

Came here after grabbing goodies from Rachel Coyle’s Pop-Up. The moment you walk in it smells of heavenly roasted coffee. The counter displays a bunch of baked goods. I ordered a hot chai latte. It was very flavorful and full of spice. It was a nice pairing with my baked goodies! There is not a ton of seating inside, but they do have tables outside as well for nice sunny days. They allow dogs inside, which is always a plus in my eyes! :) It’s all street parking which isn’t too difficult to find at all. The staff seemed pretty friendly, but I didn’t have a ton of interaction with them except for when ordering. Good place to sit and read or study in peace. It’s very quiet and relaxing.

Their sweet chai is better than their spicy, which is a plus. But when I ordered a hazelnut americano the other day, I was a little let down. I really want to like Vita since it’s on my way to work, and I like the staff a lot, so maybe I’ll just stick to their basic coffees and their tea because their cold press was great, and their mint tea was fantastic.

Seattle has a lot of coffeehouses so we can be choosy and not settle, right? If I lived in the neighbourhood, I could see this place becoming my weekly place or at least in the rotation. The baristas are friendly and their coffee is good. Snacks are usually just heated up so they can be hit or miss. I prefer to get something to eat at Via Tribunali and then finish up with a coffee before a show at the Fremont Abbey. I came in once when someone had their ill-behaved dog with them. That was a less-than-nice experience. Maybe the barista who could have intervened when she saw customers in discomfort or I don’t know, the dog’s OWNER! Parking can be scarce but it’s Seattle. Park a few blocks over and walk or arrive early and scope out somewhere good.
