I was looking for supplement to martial arts and working out. I took John’s class. It was perfect. He is knowledgable, thoughtful and playful. This is a friendly, clean and quiet studio. It felt local but welcoming. I met Sally too, really sweet and knowledgable. This does not seem to be vigorous yoga, but definitely focussed on overall yoga. I learned something at each class I took(which was a surprise!) so look forward to going back.

I love my local Yoga Studio! The owner, John, is a radiant, grounded and extremely friendly man who makes you feel at home, not only in the class, but in your body as well. For the most part, all the teachers I have encountered there are knowledgeable and cater to all levels, all body types and all ages. An average class will consist of 3 – 8 people(small, just the way I like it) aged from mid-20s to mid-60’s and somehow it gels together effortlessly. The space is simple, yet beautiful and has big windows, hence lots of light. Thank you John and Eastlake Yoga! Namaste

I love the Friday lunch hour class here; it really saves my back from a week at the computer. Jill is just the kind of teacher I have been seeking: knowledgeable, personable and focused on stretching and alignment, not athleticism. A perfect 50-minute session.

It’s the new manager who makes this place. It’s in a tiny building on eastlake in a tiny strip mall. The interior is good. Class levels vary. I need level 2 – 3 an dthey don’t have it in mornings. The 7 am class TU and Th is by a warm b t not very skilled teacher. The manager is very helpful in referring one to other studios and he does know yoga. The little coffee place a block south has friendly personnel and always a crowd.
