Djaouida Skincare Facials & Sugaring

I went in for a Brazilian wax by Djaouida and had the best experience! The salon she works out of is very classy and relaxing and Djaouida is very professional and fun. She made the entire waxing experience comfortable and easy. I would go back to her in a heartbeat.

Just had my brows done. They’re angry right now, but that’s cause they are jerks that don’t like being told what to do. Djaouida got them in shape! My brows will stop being drama queens & realize getting rid of some of them is for their own good! They look great! Thanks so much, Djaouida!

I am so glad I found Djaouida to do my facials. She uses natural products which are very gentle to my sensitive skin and they smell so good! I have tried Europian and Geisha facials so far and I’m looking forward to try the others soon especially the chocolate one. After every facials that I had with her. i walk around feeling fresh, radiant and blooming. Djaouida is very nice, funny and friendly. Always fun to talk to her the whole session. The place is cozy and so relaxing. She’s a gem!

I found Djaouida through a special I purchased on I believe Amazon Local. I realized that the coupon was about to expire so I was happy to able to book at the last minute.
I had problems booking online (couldn’t find the calendar, then couldn’t figure out to click the actual facial to book) but it was probably my small screen. I’m an avid online shopper and online booker of appointments so this was a first. But again, I think my screen on my phone was not making it obvious. If this happens to you, there is a small calendar icon at the top, then you actually click on the picture of the facial down below. Duh, got it :). Was easy after that.
I have pretty good filters on my email so the confirmation with all the great information, like directions to her location, went right to my junk email. The confirmation went out to me right after booking but I needed that info! I drove around and around looking for Djaouida Skincare and couldn’t find it. Then I parked my car and walked around the shopping center and couldn’t find it.
I finally went into a real estate office and the kind receptionist said that West Seattle Wellness Center was upstairs and it might be in there. Tada!
I had the website pulled up on my phone for exact location and didn’t see that it was located at the West Seattle Wellness Center, but. it was clearly in the email once I checked my junk email.
Just pointing this out because one of the other reviewers mentioned driving around as well.
I had left for the appointment early since I didn’t know where it was and was stressed/​miffed when I got there because I couldn’t readily find it and was about to give up. I did leave a message saying I needed more info but she was busy working with another client which I totally understand.
ONCE I entered her location I found a relaxing oasis and a really pleasant Djaouida and wonderful facial experience. I love chocolate so of course, the Goddess facial was for me. My skin felt amazing after, and for the next few days I couldn’t keep my hands off my smooth face :).
My friend told me she would’ve gained 3 lbs licking chocolate off her face but I digress.
Great experience and I already booked a return appointment. I think for a Hawaiian facial. Can’t wait!

If all Djaouida did was use the finest products, that would be enough. If all that she did was not only restore my skin, but give me a face I never had, that would be enough. If she introduced me to the delight of sugaring (yes, delight in her hands), that would be enough. But in my years of previous facials and bodywork — and I have been fortunate to have good people — Djaouida stands out for her kindness, her skill, and her soul which is far more than skin deep. I no longer live in the West Seattle neighborhood, but for almost two years it has been worthwhile for me to travel every month on a trip that usual takes two hours each way, plus a ferry. Go! In her hands, life doesn’t get any better.

I found Djaouida through one of the deal sites. She ran some different specials and I chose a package with 2 facials.
Before, I think I’ve had one facial and it was definitely a more clinical atmosphere where the snobby girl told me how my skin would benefit from her squeezing the –ish out of my pores. After that, I wasn’t really interested in getting facials.
What caught my eye about Djaouida is the names of the different facials she offers. The Goddess Facial. The Geisha Facial. The Moroccan Facial. Those sounded great.
And they are! I’ve done my two sessions and I tried the Geisha and the Moroccan Facials. Both were amazing! No pore squeezing from Djaouida! She is super sweet, and the ingredients of both facials smelled amazing. Everything was so soothing. After both sessions, my face just glowed. For days!
Next I’ll try the Goddess Facial, which boasts using a lot of chocolate.
Djaouida is in West Seattle inside the West Seattle Wellness Center. I don’t live in West Seattle, so I had to drive around the Westwood Village Shopping center twice to actually find the place. She gives great directions when you book the appointment, but it still took me a minute to find it.

Djaouida introduced me to sugaring — a hair removal method instead of waxing. She was knowledgable, professional and efficient. Products were simple and natural — A great experience!

I went in for the European facial and came out feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Her all natural products smelled delicious and made my skin feel great. I liked that she didn’t try to convince me to come in too frequently — just as the seasons change. I’ll be going back!

Amazing facial! Djaouida is absolutely wonderful… making for an amazing experience! It is something I’ve come to realize is actually really important and a necessity for every women… it’s like what if you never had your oil changed on your car… this is all the more important… and I really appreciate how affordable she is and the lovely, natural products she recommends and sells… I have totally noticed a HUGE diff in my face… and it makes wearing make-​up really FUN!!! What’s not to love, BABY???

I just went to get the geisha facial today and it was amazing. I have been extremely stressed out lately and this was exactly what I needed to help relax, and it helped that I left looking and feeling beautiful.
Djaouida, is so sweet and friendly, and she even gave me great tips that I can keep up at home with products I already have such as coconut oil.

I went to see Djaouida today for the first time and had a goddess facial and boy, did I leave feeling like a GODDESS with a million bucks. The ingredients of the facial were delicious smelling and felt so nice and smooth on my skin. She was very diligent with her facial massaging techniques and her hand/​shoulder/​arm massages were amazing. She is such a personable and outgoing esthetician and made me feel relaxed and comfortable right from the beginning.
She gave me some recommendations of good restaurants to eat in west seattle and I had such a fun time talking to her that I didn’t want our session to end. The location is easy to find, her room is relaxing and clean, and my face is glowing.
I will definitely be back to see her again. She is a gem and she comes with the whole package… highly recommended!

Skin care = Self Care. I’m not sure I was expecting such an uplifting experience when I booked my appointment with Djaoulda. Of course, her facials were praised highly via word of mouth by some West Seattle pals who had experienced her services. Professional, yet warm was this highly rated certified esthetician, and the space was cozy, relaxed and felt a bit, uh, spiritual. I chose the Geisha facial, and I felt pampered, nourished and overwhelmed by the wonderful aromatic oils and balms slathered on my face. By the end of it, it was if I had experienced a body message, so relaxed and refreshed was my spirit. When I arrived home, I was delighted to see visible results on my mug: even complexion, clear pores, and an all over glow-​y appearance. It reminded me of why I chose to do a facial in the first place: the need to take care of myself now includes the commitment to my body and skin. This service seems indulgent, but really is something anybody who values themselves is sure to do. Please note: appointments fill quickly– book asap! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Djaouida is terrific! The last six months of my life have been a roller coaster of stress and transition (moved from California, lost job, etc), and my skin has suffered. I found her via Unilocal and was impressed with the reviews, as well as her website and reasonable pricing, so I made an appointment, got in quickly, and enjoyed the Goddess facial in all its chocolate glory. Three days later my skin still feels fresh and smooth, and I plan to go back for sure. The facility is top notch, quiet, cozy, and super comfortable, and Djaouida has a wonderful personality. One thing I hate about some salon services is they ask all about the products you use, then tell you why those products are wrong, and then try to sell you a bunch of THEIR products afterwards. But nothing of the sort happened, nor do I think there are any products to buy!

Djaouida is charismatic, knowledgable, and incredibly talented. I had the most relaxing experience and saw immediate results! The products she uses smell amazing and are all natural & organic so you know you are treating your skin right.
Usually when I get beauty treatments, I find myself trying to generate small talk which can be pretty cumbersome. My facial with Djaouida was all the more relaxing because I didn’t feel like I was forcing conversation. She is so personable and happy to answer any and all questions about skincare while also making you feel at ease.
I would definitely recommend Djaouida Skincare– especially if you are new to facials & sugaring!

Djaouida is a doll. She is a master in her field. A saint with her clients’ comfort. A fighter for only providing the best organic products. And basically the best customer service I’ve had with skincare.
My face is something people see all the time (it’s pretty hard to hide)…so I wanted someone I could trust making changes to it. I now religiously see D for my brow and lip sugars. As a treat to myself, I also get her facials every few months. I’ve tried almost every facial – the most annoying thing about her facials? I don’t know which one to pick, because they’re all INCREDIBLE. Yesterday she «took me to Hawaii» with the Hawaiian facial. For my Birthday she gave me a chocolate facial (I wanted to lick my face), and before some of my big events (weddings, parties) I’ve got the Geisha, or Pumpkin (if it’s Fall). It sure beats the facials at the other spas where they poke and prod your face with tools, blasts of moisture, and picking at zits. D is the opposite. Organic, gentle, and your face glows. It sounds cheesy, but a friend actually stopped me and said I had a «fresh faced glow.»
D is also super clean. Her room has zen like curtains, always a candle lit, and soft music, and now she has a line of products I’m dying to get my hands on. Her table you sit on is heated, she always has gloves on, the blankets are soft, and the curtains allow it to create a meditative light/​darkness balance. I could really fall asleep in there-​even when she’s sugaring me.
Overall, go to Djaouida. I’ve had friends go to other places, and I honestly don’t see them super impressed. They’re in and out. Sure the job gets done, but with D – she gets the job done, and makes it feel like a second home. I look forward to getting my eye brows sugared – how many people can say that?

I have been going to see Djaouida for a year now, and I absolutely love not only her amazing facials, but Djaouida herself. She is an incredible, friendly woman.
I appreciate that Djaouida uses natural & organic products most of which she actually makes herself. The array of facials that she has offer their own unique smells and atmosphere. The most recent addition to her repertoire is the Geisha Facial. You notice the effects immediately as well as for days after. Your pores are tight and your skin is absolutely GLOWING! I have typically changed it up and had a different facial each time I went to see her, but I love the Geisha so much that I had her do it a second time in a row.
You will definitely love Djaouida and her facials.

I’ve been seeing Djaouida religiously for about a year now and I love her! My skin is extremely sensitive (no way a razor can touch it) so I turned to sugaring. I’ve been to a few different places, but Djaouida has a way of keeping me calm, comfortable and taking care of business down there as quickly and painlessly as possible. She’s also just a lovely human being and I enjoy chatting with her. Her prices are fair, scheduling is easy, and her new office is lovely! So why not go?
And, for those of you who have thought about getting a brazillian, but just can’t imagine someone being all up in there… do it. Djaouida will make you feel so comfortable, respected, and before you know it, she’ll be done!
Djaouida is also amazing with skin care. You’ll notice her beautiful skin when you see her. I had a facial from her (it was almost as relaxing as a massage) and my skin was glowing. So wonderful, actually, that I bought a gift cert for my bff.
Is it weird that I actually look forward to having my hair ripped out once a month now?
