Divine Sunless Tanning

This an update to my previous review, but honestly, my opinion hasn’t changed a bit. Wendy is the best. I cheated for awhile, and went to another airbrush tanning place, but I always looked orange. Wendy offers choices for color, and can assess with a glance which shade will be best. I have never had anything but a totally perfect tan from Wendy. She even texted me advice for self tanning when I was in Boston for a wedding. I shall never stray again!

I loved Wendy! This was my first time having a spray tan and after reading such wonderful reviews of Wendy I decided to give her a call. She was very pleasant whilst she explained the preparations that I needed to do before my spray tan. I followed her instructions to a ‘T’ to be sure my tan would last. Wendy is very prompt, professional and knows the colour of tan that would be best for your skin tone. I am very happy with the results and will absolutely use Wendy each time I want to be tan!

I’m updating my review for Wendy from two years ago. I’ve been a weekly client of hers since then, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do my tan. I work in a professional field that involves interacting with a lot of people every day, so it’s extremely important to me that my tan look natural on a consistent basis. Wendy has never let me down with a single tan. She also checks in with me the day after a tan to see if there’s anything I want to change for next time, and she’ll alter the formula she uses with me if I’m going on vacation and want to look darker. She will give you a very high level of personal service, and an absolutely gorgeous, natural looking tan that’s just right for you.

This will be my third time using Divine Sunless Tanning and I swear I will never go back to those «Automatic» spray tan booths. Wendy is absolutely AMAZING, amazing amazing!!! First of all, she makes you feel completely comfortable, which can be hard to do when you’re practically naked in front of a stranger! And my tan has turned out PERFECT every time. Each tan has been for a wedding and I get multiple compliments from everyone, it gives me the extra boosts of confidence I need! I would recommend Wendy to everyone!!!

Still using Divine, still loving Wendy. I made the mistake of going to someone else a few months ago after getting a «deal» — no way will I do that again. Where others just ask you if you want to go light, medium, or dark, Divine has different colors available (and light, medium, and dark versions of each) — so much better if you want natural looking color. Once a year, I use Divine Sunless to tan me for a big event that I’m involved in. And every year I am NEVER disappointed. Wendy is professional, on time, and her work turns out beautifully. I usually tan about 2 – 3 days before the event, and my glow is radiant every year! Thank you Wendy for being my go-​to-​girl for sunless tanning!

I contacted Wendy and was pleasantly surprised at how friendly and approachable she was over the phone! We scheduled an evening session for her to come over and give me an express tan. She was very informative and helped me understand that I am just as responsible for prepping for and maintaining my tan as she is applying it. It looked amazing immediately and the next day it looked so natural! She even followed up with me the day after to Checkin on how it looked. I would recommend her to anyone!

I was lucky enough to stumble upon Wendy and her business close to two years ago, after a friend had an incredible experience and talked me into experiencing the service for myself.
I was very nervous about the color and the actual process. I had a terrible experience at a tanning salon in a spray tan «booth» that left me gasping for air, and a lovely hue of tangerine. Wendy was professional, made me feel instantly calm, and left me glowing with the most perfect faux tan. I have since used her too many times to count, and have recommended her to countless friends for special occasions. She is the BEST and I wouldn’t even think about going to anyone else.

Divine Sunless Tanning was recommended to me by a friend of a friend. And since, I had my wedding coming up, I booked an appointment with Wendy two months before the wedding event. Booking an appointment with Wendy was very easy — on the day of, she was running fifteen minutes late but she sent me a text and communicated that to me, which I was appreciative of. I felt very comfortable with her during the entire spraying process, and she spent over ten minutes talking to me about bathing, exfoliating, and my entire skin care régime. She was super patient and friendly, and I never felt that she rushed me or didn’t listen to my concerns.
And the best part, my spray tan came out beautiful! It was not orange at all (I have had spray tans in the past that have left a somewhat orangy tinge), but a beautiful tanned color. Three days before my wedding, Wendy came back to spray tan myself and my mother (her first spray tan ever). My mom loved Wendy and her spray tan as much as I did! I felt very beautiful and TAN on the day of my wedding!

I was a spray tan virgin until my experience with Wendy last week. Myself and a group of girlfriends were headed to Phoenix for a bachelorette party where our pasty Seattle skin simply wouldn’t do! I had no idea what to expect, but after an express tan, I spent the ENTIRE weekend gushing about how much I loved the experience. Wendy is professional and personable, my tan looked AWESOME, and I can’t believe how great it made me feel. If you’re on the fence and looking for an excellent first spray-​tan experience, I can’t recommend Divine Sunless highly enough!

Wendy is AMAZING at what she does. She will come to your house and do your spray tan so you can be in the comfort of your own home and not have to worry about driving or getting anywhere and ruining your tan. She makes you feel very comfortable and at ease, too. She really listens to the look you are trying to achieve and gives you her honest opinion about what would look best. My color came out perfectly — it was exactly what I wanted. Everyone told me I looked great but no one asked me if I got a spray tan — and being so fair skinned, that’s a testament to how natural it looked. I plan to use Wendy exclusively! Highly recommend. Lots of people in the Seattle area must feel the same way because you have to book her so far in advance :)

Wendy does a perfect job. She will come to your house and she is no fuss no muss.
When you have perfection why bother trying anyone else?

I have been a client of Wendy’s for a couple of years now and she is truly a perfectionist when it comes to a spray tan.
She comes to your house and sets up quickly. This way your at home and you wont have to put on clothes and drive home from a salon and ruin your fresh tan!!!
She dials in the perfect color for you
Your left with a tan that would have taken you weeks in the Caribbean– but no harmful rays
She uses product that doesn’t have the bad chemicals you might get elsewhere
What more could you want from a spray tan?

Wendy is the best. This was my first tan in my entire life, and it was for my wedding, and I was terrified. I went with Wendy based on her great reviews, and I am so glad I did! She made me feel completely comfortable and was super professional and easy to work with. Wendy is personable and friendly, while also efficient and very experienced. I looked and felt great on my wedding day. Definitely five stars.

Wendy is fabulous! This was my first experience with airbrush tanning and she made the entire experience (from early communication through the appointment) easy. Her knowledge of the industry and willingness to educate even the most un-​savvy tanner was a welcome change to previous experiences in commercial tanning salons. Plus, you can’t beat that she will travel to your home! I will definitely use Wendy in the future.

Wendy is great! I’m a fair skinned girl and I was pretty nervous about spraying tanning but I wanted to look good in my brother’s wedding pictures. I did a little Unilocal research and I was really impressed by all of Wendy’s reviews so I shot her an email. Two days later, I was being airbrushed in my backyard.
Wendy is very professional and puts you right at ease. I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience. The best part was when I saw my brother and he said without any prompting «Wow sis, you look nice and tan.»

Perfect glow! I had Wendy come by last minute for a quick airbrush before my Halloween party. She was really accommodating and even had her pop-​up tent handy to spray me outside (my bathroom is white-​white). Not only was she professional but was so friendly and made sure my neighbors that were doing some construction next door weren’t in view.
My tan become darker throughout the day and I knew that it was going to be lovely — even, natural — everything I had hoped for. After taking a shower the next day, it was exactly what I wanted! We are, after all, in Seattle and I didn’t want to be too bronzed. It was a perfect natural glow that made me feel great!

Wendy came over three days before a wedding for which I was a bridesmaid. I have very, very pale skin and was really nervous about it look unnatural because I’ve never done any sunless tanning before. But Wendy seems like a pro, she didn’t make me look orange or unnatural in anyway. I could tell a big difference, but because it looked so natural I don’t think anyone could pin point what was different about me, they just knew I looked good! The tan held up really well for the wedding (only faded a bit, but Wendy warned me of this) and 7 days later I still have a tan!
I’ll be calling Wendy again next time I have a special event. My only complaint was that I had to clean my shower afterward because while she clean up after herself, there was still a lot of discoloring in my shower the next morning. Fortunately it came off really easy and it wasn’t a huge mess so it didn’t take long to clean.

I’ve had Wendy come by twice for a airbrush before a wedding and I’ve loved both times! It’s so nice to have the luxury of getting a tan while at home. And not to mention she’s great at what she does and always finds a way to give me a perfect tan in my less than roomy shower — so I’d say she’s creative too!
I’d highly recommend Wendy and plan on calling her whenever I need some color for an event…

I got naked in front of a stranger with no problems… that is how awesome Wendy is/​was.

I LOVE WENDY. Seriously. Want to know why?
My gf and I were in the market for some sun, or sun-​ish type exposure. Living in Seattle, access to sunlight is few and far between. Adding insult to injury almost every news station for the last week has been running stories on the statistics of minors who tan, skin cancer rates etc… overall not leaving me with the warm and fuzzies. We started pricing and comparing the salons in the area for not just tanning, but sunless tanning. Neither of us have had the pleasure of stepping into a box and being sprayed down with streaks of orange by an unintelligent machine, so the thought of taking that leap wasn’t really appealing.
And then there was Wendy… :)
We came across Divine Sunless Tanning and Wendy while we searched through Unilocal.Convenient, flexible hours. CHECK. Fair, reasonable pricing. CHECK. Knowledgeable. CHECK CHECK. And she comes to your house, apartment, hotel, office, hell in this town she’s probably sprayed people in a room the size of a linen closet. When Wendy arrived she started setting up her materials, which is stored in a medium sized bag. (It’s not like she’s bringing a ridiculous amount of tools into your house…) She explained the process to us, asked us what we were looking for (color wise) and imparted upon us TONS of useful skin care and sunless tanning knowledge. By the time I was to strip down and hop in the tub Wendy was set up, ready to go and I was comfortable. Within 20 minutes I was sprayed down, out of the tub and air drying!
Her products smell wonderful! We went for the «prep» which was a cool mist of lots of good stuff for your skin, and her sunless product smelled like lemongrass, not some heavily perfumed or sickly sweet coconut. It was really a refreshing process.
I woke up and post shower, was left with wonderful results! I’ve got an even, natural looking glow, with no steaks, no orange and no dealing with little catty, ditzy, money hungry salon girls trying to up-​sell me. BONUS.
We love our results and are now weekly (happy) clients. :)
