At Pacific Medical Centers, we realize the health concerns of women can be a little different. Not just from a medical perspective, but from a life perspective: Between meetings, homework, carpools and soccer practice, we understand that your life can seem like one big juggling act. And when you’re taking care of everything (and everyone) else, it’s not always easy to take good care of yourself. That’s why we have an entire practice group devoted to the unique interests of women. You’ll find our doctors are not only experts in their respective fields, but that they understand you and your life as well. And like everyone at Pacific Medical Centers, they know that things like same day appointments, shorter waiting times and open parking spaces make all the difference. A handpicked group of doctors that understands more than medicine. It’s yet another way that Pacific Medical Centers helps you find what you’re looking for.
History
Established in 1993.
In the beginning, our mission as a US Public Health Service hospital was to provide high-quality care to merchant seamen. We’ve since expanded our reach and today we serve people in the greater Seattle area from every walk of life.
In 2003, PacMed transitioned to a private, nonprofit organization. As a private nonprofit organization, we have the flexibility to achieve long-term financial stability and reinvest in our organization.
Over the years, PacMed has grown to become one of the largest, nonprofit multi-specialty healthcare networks in the Puget Sound area. We attribute our growth to our talented employees who deliver high quality care. They’re skilled, trained professionals who have a strong sense of empathy for their patients.
Looking ahead, we’ll continue to be innovative by developing new services and attracting new specialties. But most of all, we will continue to be an active member of our community and a place patients can turn to when they need respectful, quality care.
