Went to get a bikini sugar first sugar ever. Kassie was great, very professional and the products are great. I’ll definitely be back.

My recent bikini sugaring appointment was painfully!!!
As for me, I’ve had quite a few Brazilians, and I actually wasn’t nervous about the sugaring just curious and eager.
Vanessa was very fast doing it but she was so hard which causes me redness, pain, and inflammation for 2 days.
Also I book the appointment almost a week in advance and she took some one else first than me, made me wait for 20 minutes pass my appointment time.

I would love to give a shout out to Kassi! I have booked sugaring with her on three separate occasions each I have pleased and happy with service and results. Kassi is pleasant, professional, quick, and precise with her technique! Do yourself a favor and give sugaring a try with Kassi you won’t be disappointed!

Wow… I’m as soft as a newborn baby and I owe it all to Vanessa. She’s meticulous and efficient, everything I want in a sugaring goddess. Fun conversationalist too!

Although the location is a little weird (shared office space with a few other beauty/​skin care providers), and street parking can be a little difficult, the service is excellent! The service room is very clean and the art on the walls is kinda fun and eclectic, just like the aestheticians. It is super easy to view availability and book appointments online. They also do a great job at being thorough and keeping you relaxed throughout the hair removal process. If you’ve never tried sugaring, you need to go!

Just want to say this is the first and only place I will get sugared at. I had been wanting to try sugaring or waxing for years and had very bad and quite painful experiences trying to diy myself. Bad idea unless you know what you’re doing! Anyways, I finally got the courage to go see Vanessa and happened to get the happy hour deal $ 10 off extended bikini :) She was very professional and did as quick and even job as she could for a newbie. It did hurt but far less than when I tried it myself. I also have very sensitive skin and was amazed it didn’t break out. I also saw Kassi for my last 2 appointments and she is very fast and just as good as Vanessa. I will be a forever client of Darling.

So far, my experience with Darling Sugaring has been great. I’ve seen both Vanessa and Kassi for sugaring and enjoy them both equally. The first time I got sugared by Vanessa, I could tell she was a perfectionist, which I can highly appreciate. I’ve had way too many sloppy and careless waxers in the past who just want to get you in and out so they can get the job done. Vanessa actually took the time to ensure all the hairs were gone and went over certain areas with tweezers that she could not get with the sugar-​wax. Vanessa said herself she is «heavy handed» and at first I felt it was a little rougher than usual, but she explained she likes to push down to get the hair to come out from the root instead of just breaking off the hair from the top, which I can also appreciate! I want my wax job to last longer than 3 days, ya know?
Both Vanessa and Kassi are extremely fast. Waxing is never painless (in my case), so it helps when you have someone who knows how to get as much hair as possible with the least amount of pulls/​rips as possible. :)
I love that they have Happy Hour from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, EVERY DAY! Another plus is that they’re open until 9:00 pm most nights. Its nice that they cater to those of us who have the not-​so-​normal work schedules and need to get in later or want to take advantage of HH on a Friday or Saturday. Awesome! Oh, and how could I forget? «Bikini punch cards» so the 10^th (…I think) wax is free. Man, deals upon deals over here!
I’ll continue to book with both Kassi and Vanessa. No preference, both are great! :)

The first time I went here it was fine, not great. I’ve been sugared a lot and at a few different places and her technique involves some unnecessary yanking. The room she works in was not as clean as one might hope. I had a few complaints but she’s close to my house and inexpensive so I was willing to give it another shot.
Second appointment, I show up 10 minutes early and 15 minutes later she strolls in with a to-​go box and a full mouth saying she was sorry but she «bumped into someone she hadn’t seen in awhile». She didn’t remember what I was there for and she didn’t even have the room prepped yet. Sorry but that is way too unprofessional, I don’t recommend this place.

It’s been a few years since I’ve done sugaring so it was starting anew again. Decided to get a full Brazilian before my long distance trip with my husband ;) Kassi was a really nice person and easy to talk to. Unfortunately, the experience and after results was not so great. Sugar was everywhere in the room as she was ripping off my skin. Understandably, the little room was warm. She did ask if I wanted her to pluck or keep trying to sugar it off, and of course I said sugar it if it was seemingly possible. The next day, my skin was inflamed, and it was peeling :(a portion even started scabbing. I’ve never had this type of result before and even though it’s been a few years, I did a lot before this. Don’t think I can come back after this experience though she is so nice.

Scheduled my usual appointment with Kassi. She did an excellent job! I’ve been a Darling client for a few years. It’s great to have the flexibility of booking with Kassi now — lots more appointment times for my busy schedule!
This is a great space. I always feel comfortable and welcome. If you haven’t tried sugaring, you won’t regret it. And your skin will thank you! Pricing here is very reasonable too. Check out the happy hour deals!

Vanessa is amazing! She is the best! I have been seeing her for over 3 years and I have never considered going anywhere else! She is so knowledgeable and insightful, professional, clean, friendly and makes you feel like you’re just going in to see your friend and get some hair ripped out. I have seen Kassi a couple of times and she has always been great! I also LOVE that Darling offers Happy Hour pricing, that is so convenient, especially when on a budget. I always recommend Darling to friends looking for hair removal.

I have nothing but great things to say about Darling Sugaring. This was the first time I had ever tried sugaring and had gotten my brows done. I was a little nervous, since I had a horrible first-​time waxing experience when I was in middle school and never let anyone near them again.
But Kassi did a wonderful job with my brows! I had nothing to be nervous about. She was quick and professional, totally cleaned them up but not overly shaped, I think they came out great.
The shop is super cute and the online booking was easy to use. I had a wonderful experience overall and definitely recommend!

I think Cassie did the most thorough sugaring I have ever had done yet :-) She is another reason to trust your hair removal to Vanessa and Cassie, they will get it done.

Vanessa is amazing. My coworker recommended me to her and I thanked and thanked her. I got a Brazilian, my first. She was super quick and made me feel right at home. I already booked to get more done and have recommended her to as many people as I can. Check her out you have nothing to lose but hair.

I have been seeing Vanessa for years (as she put my brows through bootcamp until they became the perfect specimens they are now) and fully trust her with my hair removal needs.
Recently, Vanessa suggested I try sugaring my legs — as I am very active during the winter months and it would be helpful to go weeks without shaving. I hopped on the SUPER EASY online scheduling page and set up an appointment with Kassi, V’s new addition to her team.
Let me just say, Kassi is great. She is gentle, comforting and does a very thorough job! No leg hair was going to get away from this lady! We chatted the entire appointment and before I knew it, she was done. Voila!

I’ve been going to Darling to get sugared for some years now. It is without a doubt, my «go-​to» place to for hair removal. Yesterday I went in to get my legs sugared by the new hire, Kassi. She is a great addition to Darling Skincare! Kassi is super friendly and I felt comfortable right away. Hair removal can be a bit on the uncomfortable side for some of us, so I find the constant conversation a great distraction. Kassi did a really thorough job on my legs! Seriously, I have yet to find 1 survivor hair! I’m very pleased that I can make an appointment with either Kassi OR Vanessa and my result is going to be perfect.

Had an appointment today with Kassi and I must say, regardless of the *ahem* sensitive areas that were addressed, she did a quick and as painless as it could be sugaring. Not to mention she is a very pleasant individual to chat with! I highly recommend you give her a try!

On a recent trip to visit Seattle 11/​23/​2014, I took the opportunity to pamper myself a little. I was nervous going to a new place out of town but once I met Cassie she made me feel like I was with a old friend. I am new to sugaring and she answered all my questions and was so sweet and patient. It a situation that requires a stranger close and personal you want someone who make you feel at ease and she did. She did a great job and I am now hooked! No more wax for me. I wish she was in my town because I would always book her. Until my next visit… Thank you and now to find a local who can meet the high bar set by Darling.

I will start by saying I was late. I hate being late. I am a ¹⁵⁄₃₀ min. early kind of gal. It was Saturday afternoon and I was coming from Everett. I got stuck in traffic for a Katy Perry concert/​Mariners game/​Saturday traffic. Ugh, did no one know/​understand that I had an appointment to get to?!
I made my appointment online, super easy and no awkwardness there, Yay!
I found the place easy enough. Parking was a breeze. (always a +)
I got up to her place and was almost instantly ushered into the green room of pain.
I mean my hair wasn’t going to be removed by kitten whiskers.
I had scheduled the head to toe, full leg, bikini, underarm, and eyebrow.
I was 15 minutes late (ish), so we got right down to business, no explaining, introductions or anything, knowing her name might have been nice but the lack of explanation was not a problem for me since I had researched the poo out of what was going to happen already.
We weren’t going to have time to do everything now, at first I was hoping we might be able to, but once that first ankle sugaring happened I was willing to cancel the bikini portion of my appointment. She was conversing with me I’m assuming to distract me, which was very nice, I did have a friend with me, because without her I may have given up the whole thing on the drive there. Eventually she stopped talking and was just doing her thang on me. Ouch ouch ouch. She didn’t make me feel bad for wanting to cancel the bikini portion of my appointment at all. We only did ½ leg, underarm and eyebrow. My underarms felt a little bruise like for a day but now are smooth, soft and look fantastic! My legs are just as good. I’ve had compliments on my eyebrows, and who doesn’t like that?!
This morning I had a message from her asking how my legs were. Which was very nice I thought. I was not expecting her to touch bases with me at all. But with that kind of care and the time taken to do so it’s no wonder her reviews are so good.
Would I go back?
For underarms that look and feel this good? Yes.
Eyebrows that make my face feel cleaner and get me compliments (that I can take no credit for)? Yes.
Legs that feel so smooth? Yes!
Hells yeah I’ll go back. Pain is beauty baby! And perhaps I will attempt that bikini sugaring next time… not a lot just a little bit.
Please note: I am a bigger girl, not huge, but bigger (¹⁴⁄₁₆ XL kind of girl) and I was nervous about being splayed out there, but you know what, with the amount of reviews that are as good as they are, saying how at ease she put them. I wouldn’t go back if I didn’t think she were capable of that.
Did I forget to mention the great music she had going?! Great music.
Overall, I’m a fan. I would, and already have, recommended her to others. Side note: it was my first time getting anything other than my brows waxed… sugared…whatever. My first hair removal other than my brows. If you are like myself and reading these reviews to see what it’s about, bite the bullet and just do it! While it isn’t relaxing it sure felt good to leave there hair free. And I am willing to drive from Everett to West Seattle on a weekend again to do this… that’s got to say something! :)

A few months ago I had my first sugaring experience with Vanessa at Darling Sugaring. As a first timer, I was pretty nervous and wasn’t exactly sure what to expect.
Let me just say, Vanessa is super cool, professional and makes you feel completely comfortable. You kinda develop a relationship with a person who tells you to lift your leg and grab your cheek, what can I say.
The results were fantastic and you’ll be walking out of there feeling like you’re 10 years old again. (That’s not creepy though, right?)
Highly recommend.
