Christopher G.

Business Owner

Began working on German cars at 15 years of age. Worked for VW and Porsche as well as several independent shops and race teams. Built race vehicles and motorcycles in the 1980’s before moving overseas. Specialized in the construction of expedition and filming vehicles in Southeast Asia and Africa, construction of underwater filming equipment for the feature film industry. Returned to the US to open Christopher Goodwin Motorsport in 2000

Chris is the best. I have definitely brought him some funky old vehicles to work on. He just finished working on a Mercedes 309D mini bus for me and now he has my Checker Aerobus. Chris has gone out of his way to source parts which in itself is kind of an worldwide adventure for these vehicles, especially the Mercedes. He arranged for extensive rust damage to be repaired and a full paint job. Chris is a rare mechanic nowadays that really understands machinery and I think can figure out just about anything mechanical and figure out the best way to repair it. He has always been fair and upfront with estimating impossible jobs and totally honest explaining to me what he is doing. I look forward to bringing cars to him and know he will take care of me and my vehicles.
