Such a cute and clean place to study with a cup of good coffee! Several tables and outlets in a very open, minimalist space, I find it very relaxing. I give it one star down though because the internet is sooo slow :(It makes it hard to work on your laptop if you need internet.

Love!!! Bright, clean, spacious and with minimalist decors in coffee shops are totally my thing. Love the glass everywhere! Lights! bright furniture(but not colors). Looking for a simple menu of coffee, espresso and maybe a few tea + miscellaneous such as hot chocolate or Italian soda? Maybe some sweets? They have it all. A great place for afternoon coffee, even better for working/studying. The lights, the quietness. It’s pretty relaxing. I came by since I was in the area. Free parking on the other street doesn’t hurt. Plenty of chairs and tables. So spacious! I could’ve stayed for a while! My cappuccino was made with measurements and a little scale. Barista was friendly. I could have used a little stronger/darker roast for my cappuccino. I believe she may have used whole milk in mine? Still love it! The Italian sodas here are so pretty too! Cant wait to come back and sip on coffee or work from here! Oh and they send you coupons via email!!!

This place is amazing! The setting is very modern, clean, and has lots of window seats(for some reason I really like sitting by the window). This place has great seating space, perfect for studying or catching up with friends. I’m not a fan of fancy sugary drinks that some people still consider«coffee» so I got a 2% latte. It was perfect. Just the right amount of foam to balance the espresso, which wasn’t too bold, but was strong enough to not leave that bitter taste in your mouth. The customer service was excellent, and I got my coffee quickly. Perfect location(although parking kind of sucks) but the atomsphere and the espresso is all worth it.

I had a very strong first impression of Broadcast Coffee Roasters on Roosevelt Way. It’s a big airy, open, and bright space, a pretty minimal concept and really pretty minimal-modern artwork(not sure that’s really a thing, but that’s what it looks like!). There was a good variety of seating choices: a bench along one wall and counter in the window, the middle was more normal café and then the other side and set back a bit were three large library-type tables. A good amount of outlets to be found and free wifi that is working pretty well right now. The staff was very friendly and took the time to talk about their coffee and concept when I made comments. Prices were average. The espresso had a pleasant acidity to it that was well-balanced with roasty chocolate notes, so the acidity had a welcome taste. I had a drip refill and found a similar quality in the taste. I’m really liking this coffee. I had a basic breakfast sandwich: ham, bacon and egg. I think it was on a sourdough rye bread, obviously from a good bakery and a bit healthier of an option. The sandwich was a bit small and clean, which I liked since I’m trying not to overdo it, but if you’re looking for a greasy sausage and bread that will dissolve into your bloodstream in .01 seconds, you’ll have to look elsewhere. I would recommend the nearby Wayward Vegan Café for something in between. Anyway, this place is a winner. I was only stopping here because I had a meeting here nearby but already am considering returning for a few more hours. The closest parking is 4 hour max pay parking on the street. There is time-limited free parking on surrounding blocks and some free street parking in the surrounding neighborhood if you don’t mind a little walk.

Experienced real friendly and helpful customer service here, today. – I didn’t catch his name but he offered suggestions, didn’t rush our group in deciding and was very attentive throughout our visit. He was very knowledgable about what flavors go well together and what pairs well with the coffee. I ordered a con panna with cinnamon + seltzer water. It was served on a black wooden plank which enhanced the experience and helped to tie in the modern ambiance and it was perfect. Check out the special drinks. They had a «purple pony» on special today which included: Cold brew, sparkling water, blueberry lavender and lemon zest. There was a lot of seating available. It seems like a good place to study or read, as it was pretty low-key and respectably quiet but comfortable. They had a good selection of unique baked items and also sell mighty-o doughnuts! We stopped in quickly for a post-dinner coffee. We will be back! Thanks for the great experience BCR !

My go-to coffee place in the area! Broadcast also doubles as one of the dreamiest places to study and make yourself feel infinitely more professional than you actually are that I’ve stumbled upon yet. As someone with a serious dairy sensitivity I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality and selection of non-dairy milks that Broadcast carries. The staff is always friendly and welcoming while not being overbearing. I appreciate the comfortable and relaxed atmosphere that they contribute to. Personal favorites so far are the chai tea latte and matcha latte, but I am yet to fully explore the menu!

Great coffee and cute, open space with study tables(lamps!), plenty of laptop counters, and normal café seating! A great place to work or gather friends.

This is hands down the best coffee place east of Greenlake. It’s very sophisticated and fantastic modern interiors. Ample of space to sit and work and friendly baristas. The parking could be an issue depending upon the time you get here. I usually order their macchiato and it’s very smooth to taste. I highly recommend this place. Will return back.

Good snacks and coffee, very clean and quiet. But not very comfy at all for long reading or study sessions.

The owner was so nice to take the time and write to me about my experience that I decided to try the place again. I found the coffee to be a bit stronger, which I prefer. It was much better than my previous experience. I will be back when I’m in the neighborhood.

Firstly, the coffee shop is very clean and bright. The interior makes me feel cozy and professional ^^(which should be good place for individuals, groups or business meeting) The staffs are friendly. They keep going around and checking up if you need something else. I ordered Caramel Latte. The taste is amazing(milk foam and expresso are well balanced as I expected), but the latte art is not very impressive(minus 1 star)

Every week we walk by this place going to our favorite Indian Buffett next door, and we finally decided to give it a try. First thing, let me say that the people working here are really nice! We had a number of questions and preferences due to allergies, and they accommodated them all! I had a cappuccino with heavy cream, and it was delightful. My son with a dairy allergy had a hemp milk steamer, and they had no problem cleaning off the steamer before making it. Finally, my daughter had a hot chocolate, and she said it was great! We also found out they make their own chocolate mix, and it is dairy free. Overall, really nice people, great drinks, and allergy friendly! We’ll be back!

I came here two days in a row during my four day stay in Seattle! First time through was on my first day in Seattle as my friend and I waited for open seats at Portage Bay. Since it was around the corner, we stopped in for some coffee. Ironically enough, the coffee shop is a complete dead-zone for the matrix unless you use their WiFi. However, the interiors are modern and spacious, which is a perfect spot to get some work done without people hounding on your space. We settled on something small. There were a few options I was unfamiliar with, like Con Panna(espresso with whipped cream) and Gibraltar(half espresso /half milk), but I decided to try something new. I went with the Gibraltar, while my friend decided on the Macchiato. The presentation set is quite interesting. Your choice of coffee, a small spoon and soda water, which I’m guessing is to help clear your palate. The Gibraltar was beautiful, smooth and a slight hint of bitterness on the back like cocoa nibs. Real nice. Second day in, we stopped by for breakfast before heading out to Fremont. Grabbed a cold brew, chai latte and almond croissant. It was early and empty on a Sunday, but it was nice to have a 12oz cold brew. Probably one of the better cold brews I’ve had and it was gone in less than 10 minutes. So good. If I lived nearby, I would find myself here often. I mean, I did come here on half the days I was visiting, so it’s a pretty awesome spot :)

Modern open space. Pumpkin spice latte tastes like fall and is housemade from actual puréed pumpkins, brown sugar and various spices. Eco friendly(no individual serve packages or disposable stirrers, bulk pour yourself sugar and silverware spoons). Nice assortment of fresh made donuts and minis(French toast donut was spot on).

Definitely recommend this café for studying. Came here with a good friend and got some work done in the nicely lit and spacious café. It has great natural light coming through and has plenty of open space and tables for laptops and other books. Close enough but not too far from UW campus to venture to a café. Not only is the space great– the staff were really nice and courteous to everyone that came in. When I went it wasn’t too crowded either so I plan on being back soon! Coffee is good but I have had better

I really liked this coffee shop and I felt that it stood out from all the other cafes I’ve been to in Seattle. Here is why: 1) The coffee shop space is awesome. It is sectioned off where there are desks with personal lamps. This is a great place to either study/work/or hang out with your friends. It is large enough where you don’t feel claustrophobically close to other customers. It doesn’t appear to be a challenge to find a seat either. 2) Coffee is decent and affordable. If you order a iced drink, they are so conscientious about being fair that they think about giving you enough drink to compensate for the ice weight. I was so shocked that they even thought about this. When I go to boba shops, I get a sip of the drink because there is mostly ice cubes in there. Some places kind of cheat you out on actually getting the drink because they put so many ice cubes inside the beverage. I really appreciated this. 3) Bathroom facilities as well as the store in itself is pretty clean. I will definitely come back! 4) Parking wasn’t too challenging to find.

I’m surprised that this place hasn’t been hype up yet. The coffee at this place is just great. I can’t get enough of the cold brew, its just so savory and even if it’s watered down, I still get the strong taste of coffee. This place is such a great place to study because there are many tables with outlets near each table. I give props to the person that designed this coffee shop because it’s give customers the modern feel. The walls are designed very fancy and each table has a fancy lamp. I wish I could get refills for coffee because its soooooo good. Another thing to note is the snacks here are pretty cheap too, so it goes great with the coffee. I recommend to park near the park and ride because I don’t think you would want to pay for street parking.
