Bikes + Art, BPA Seattle LLC is Belltown’s premier recycled bike evolution, created in the spirit of small, locally owned, community responsible, environmentally motivated, and human conscious business providing a valuable outlet for residents wishing to see their old bicycles reused and recycled instead of going to the landfill. We serve a wide-spread and diverse cross section of the Greater Seattle area population, including youth, college students, low income and cyclists of all walks.
History
Established in 2009.
The Beginning was a move of desperation. Winter was close at hand, the space I previously had was now empty of business partners. I was alone to pick up the others failed investments. At the time I was focused on building a pedicab company and was building bikes via craigslist. i did it on the side to keep the money coming in, the cab business is short for the big money. Thanks to CL and my location, the bike shop growing fast I decided against partnership. With no disposable income, no loans, and no investors cash, I opened the doors. With 7 complete bikes built and a modest selection of parts the gamble was on. It feels like Vegas ever since.
Meet the Business Owner
Eric P.
Business Owner
I came from nothing, now I rise to the top! I view the world from a different angle then some. I believe bicycles are a better way of life, rich or poor everyone deserves to have cool shit! If you mind yourself then you can mine for the parts that you need. Gold is in them hills! you just got to get passed the fools throwing shade and the junk on top and be able to dig to the bling in the bins. The shops and my success is due to the community that feeds us. The truth shall set you free, helping others is the name of the game. Your bike is more important then anything I have to sell, rent, or ride. Your hunk of rolling metal means so much to you, therefor it means as much to me. I dont own such a thing, I build, repair, fix, upgrade, restore, assist and appreciate bikes for other people. Come in, see for yourself, ask any question, touch any part, take any test ride. I have nothing to hide.
Only pride to give of the many accomplishments BPASeattle has had in the bicycling world of Sea.
