Description

Specialties

We serve Northwest foods prepared using traditional Japanese techniques. Our menu changes with the availability of produce from local farmers, but you can expect us to always serve Ramen, hot pots (Nabemono), and Pickled Vegetables.

History

Established in 2013.

The Bloom concept began with Bloom Bento, a pop-up lunch box service in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood. At Bloom Bento, Chef Jason Harris built seasonal Bento Boxes filled with roasted chicken, potato salad, pickled veggies, and more.

In August of 2013, Jason found a space in Ballard and opened Bloom Restaurant. The restaurant continues the concept of using fresh Northwest ingredients to build traditional Japanese dishes.
