This place is our second home. It has every type of pub experience you could want — traditional, sports bar’ish, and patio/beer garden areas. No, they don’t serve food(other than a few bar snacks) but you can bring in food or get delivery which is actually pretty neat. The beer selection is amazing. They have ciders, mead and wine as well. The staff are all knowledgeably and friendly and as the other reviews say, it’s dog friendly which at least for us is awesome! Plus if you love local beer you should check out their various events. Whether weekly happy hour specials or brewery nights there is always something going on!

Loooove the ambience of this place. It’s got a great relaxed vibe with old furniture, leather couches, books and pool tables. And it’s dog friendly!!! That’s a huge plus for me.(Even though my pooch got kicked out when I brought him, but he was being a brat and barking. I would have kicked him out too) so keep in mind that your pup should be well behaved. This place is listed As a pub, but don’t be under the impression that they have pub food, as I was. They have small bar snacks if you want, or they allow you to order in pizza or other takeout! I also have really enjoyed the staff when I’ve been there. There’s also a small patio for your outdoor pleasure. Will be a regular here :)

I met Gary, the owner, quite a while ago. He really knows his beer and has a great place to go when you just want to hang out and meet people in the community. Great neighborhood establishment.

Just moved to the neighborhood and am SO glad that I live near this place! Wow, what an amazing beer selection. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, too. Great décor, lots of board games, and since they don’t offer much in the way of food they allow Zeek’s pizza to be delivered. I seriously can’t stop raving, I’ve taken three friends here in two weeks… A definite favorite for great beer, not to mention it’s dog-friendly!

This Pub definitely lives up to its hype — large but warm, a variety of seating for groups of all sizes. I once saw this gentleman perched on this pretty fancy looking chair sitting there by himself against the wall as if he were holding court and the Pub was his throne room. Every time I’ve come here I’ve had a blast. They host events all the time, so you don’t have to trek into town if you live in West Seattle to enjoy a beer event or meet some brewers. Beveridge Place Pub has hosted Holy Mountain, Cloudburst, Hop Mob Roadshow, and countless other events, giving you an opportunity to get up and close with the person who made your beer if that’s your thing. Beer reps and locals are regulars here, and you might even run into the Head Brewer from Elliott Bay Brewing(as I did recently). The owner, Gary, is really cool, laid back and friendly, and everyone working there seems to enjoy it. There are always folks going around to make sure your empty glasses don’t clutter your table for too long. The tap list is insane(in a good way), there is a big beautiful wooden bar, and there’s always a variety of local beers and ciders to enjoy, or wine if you’re on a beer diet. Grab some chips and sandwiches from the adjacent Thriftway, or get some Indian Food or Fried Chicken delivered. There’s a binder full of menu’s or you can hop on Unilocal!(shameless plug) or and get something delivered. Good Food, Good Beer, and Good Friends. What else is there?

Really appreciate the character of this neighborhood-y spot, the cushy seating and the dog-friendliness. But, one of the employees was surly for some reason(not especially busy at the time I was there) and kinda«barked» at us that our dog couldn’t be tied to the table(which I get even though my dog weighs 10lbs but he made it seem like we were blatantly ignoring something we had been told). Not a deal-killer but didn’t like feeling like I was being disrespectful of the establishment when there was no intent to be!

This is one of my spots in West Seattle. They have GREAT beer, killer bar staff, drinkable wine, boardgames, very cool décor/back bar, and they let you bring you dog in. Perfect place for an after date/after dinner drink. If you need to stay and eat with your dunklewiess, then order pizza from zeek’s and they will deliver it to the bar. Can get crowded on weekends, but never oppressive. The other side of the bar I a little louder and has games if that is your thing. Whish they had Franziskaner on tap, but I wish I was skinny and rich too… love this place.

Dog-friendly bar? We must be in West Seattle! This is a great place to catch a game on a Sunday. There’s no food options in the large, living room-type area, but Zeeks is literally 30 feet away and brings in pizzas to hungry patrons. TV are hung at all angles, so you don’t get 50 people all craning their neck to see a single screen… but that does not lend itself to bringing a large group here as they would have to break into small cliques. Beer selection is good, and prices are fair. Most dogs are well-behaved and don’t cause too much of a stir. Highly recommend and will def return.

I’ve been to this place a few times, but I enjoy their friendly service and all thier beers they have on tap. The bartenders are always interacting and making sure we enjoy our experience, but also curious enough to ask what we think of the beers that we try. I also like seeing all the dogs that they let into this place. I love seeing the different puppies that come and enjoy and relax with the atmosphere with their owners.

Hmmm… Sooo … I ordered a pilsner and it tasted a lot like an IPA which I do not like. So, I wondered if I got the wrong beer, so I go up to the young, punk bartender to inquire and he was more interested in proving me right than making sure I enjoyed the beer I had. So, he gave me a tester of what I already had and stated, «Yeah that pilsner is more hoppy than others.» Didn’t even offer me something else. Disappointing for a place that specializes in BEER!

Their beer selection is great with terrific service. Awesome atmosphere with board games, pool, and shuffleboard. Great music… plus you can bring your pup, so you can go wrong there. Highly recommended place to hangout.

I hate to say this because I used to think the world of Beveridge but the service is what has finally killed it for me. The space is warm and inviting but the service consistently ranges from merely dismissive to flat-out rude. People have to form a line to give you their order and you merely pull a lever for a beer – it’s not hard so why the crappy attitude? I’ll walk the extra block to the Bridge or wait and see what takes Feedback’s place from now on.

Incredible beer selection! Mismatched chairs, couches and tables make for a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere. They don’t serve food, but even better– you can order from nearby restaurants and have it delivered to the pub! They’ve even got a stack of menus for you to choose from. Bring your friends, bring your dog, it’s always a good time at Beveridge Place!

When my wife and I were first moving up to Seattle, and trying to figure out a place to live, we visited here while we were exploring. We wound up buying a place just up the hill from here. That should tell you what we thought of the place. :-) First up, the beers. Lots and lots of beers. And, unlike what I’ve seen at a lot of other beer bars, they’re not all IPAs! They change regularly, and the staff really knows their stuff. Approach the bartender, tell them what you like, and go with their recommendation. You won’t be disappointed. The atmosphere in here is wonderful. The place is HUGE! Everyone is super friendly. And, it’s dog friendly. Because really — if you’re going out to have a couple of beers with your friends, why not bring all your friends?

They have a great selection of beer and board games to play. I went to trivia before and found the place too noisy to hear the questions. I wish they had more TVs to watch games. But overall it is a great place to meet friends for a drink. You can bring your own food in and the allow dogs!

Fav local spot for a chill Saturday night with the hubs. Good beers. Good ambiance. Good company. What more can you ask for really? They have all sorts of board games a long with shuffle board, darts, pool, etc. Staff is friendly and knowledgable about their long list of rotating beers.

Great spot for a brew! Lovely décor and varied tap list is superb. They have a wonderful bottle list as well. My only gripe is that they allow dogs which bark and sometimes fight and sniff and rub and slobber and lick and invade and shed and paw your brand new shoe. Why people feel the need to bring their dogs everywhere they go is beyond me. Dogs in the bar, dogs in Home Depot, dogs in the market, dogs everywhere I look! Other than that, the patio is cozy and surrounded by hops growing on the fence… nice touch! They maintain an updated tap list online via today’s technology so you can’t lose…

I really love this place! As a new West Seattle resident I was on the lookout for a watering hole and I had some high expectations coming from some great dive bars in Northeast Minneapolis. This place has it all and then some! 1) they allow dogs! 2) bring your own food, leftovers or pizza from next door 3) the place had some real charm! 4) they have board games, books and trivia on Wednesdays! 5) they have a killer patio 6) they have a great beer selection

Very cool and interesting place. I love the fact that you can sit down, grab your favorite beverage and play games with your friends. It makes for a very laid-back atmosphere, and one where people seem to really be enjoying themselves. Ambiance is pubbish, but my one complaint is that they don’t offer food. In a pub, this should be standard(I’ve never heard of any other pub NOT providing a menu of food any way.) As I understand it, you can bring food in, but this is just odd to me. I DO like the fact that Beveridge Place is dog-friendly.

I really liked this place. I saw it on the list of 50 best brewpubs in the U.S., so when visiting family and friends, we dropped by. It was during a Seahawks game, so we sat on the quiet side. There is a really great selection of beers, and they have food, as well. They had some of my favorite sours, including several beers I hadn’t heard of(and I like to try a lot of beers). The atmosphere was really nice, even with all the fans shrieking in the other room. There is a decent amount of parking on the street, and with a small lot next door. And the beer selection couldn’t be beat.

A place for locals in west Seattle to have a few beers/wine/cider, relax on a couch or some tables and chat with some background music, pretty good music selection for my taste; not too loud, but your going to notice the song. There’s a lot of character and charm to this place; plenty of dark wood and gives me some of the same feel of going to Smiths in Capital Hill. Definitely has earned the«PUB» in the name. This is a good location to meet up with a lot of friends and if one brings a dog, no problem as I saw one there as I left. The beer selection, bottle and draft is quite large, but I had some difficultly finding something to my taste as I’m so into the local brewery scene and IPAs as the selection is too globally diversified for me. As for food, no food. Although, Zeeks Pizza is within 50 ft and they will deliver. I must have saw 2 – 3 pizza boxes from a number of different pizza places. Think ahead and just order yourself a pizza delivered and get a seat at one of the couch’s and just relax, chat and eat pizza.

Solid four stars for this pub. Quality selection of international and microbrews. I’m actually not a huge beer fan myself but friends will go crazy for this place. Casual, comfortable ambiance with dark wood and a European pub attitude. Knowledgable staff and reasonable prices. Would guess this would be a fun place for trivia for some reason. I would probably suggest a visit next time I am in the area, but I don’t venture to West Seattle too often.

Just the local bar you are looking for. Ambience: 4 Food: — Drinks: 4 Value: 4 A great local bar to do… whatever! They’ve got some table games, an easy lounge area to chat with friends, the beers are great and they show the games on their TV’s. They are also dog friendly! Another great thing about this place is that, although they only have snacks on the premise(e.g. a bowl of peanuts), they have restaurants around that deliver to the place. So you can get teriyaki, greek, and pizza!
