Barcelo Homes, formerly Benjamin Custom Homes, is owned and operated by Bogdan Maksimchuk. Our building philosophy is to provide highly efficient, environmentally friendly contemporary homes with quality finishes at an affordable price. We incorporate open floor plans with high-​end finish details. Barcelo Homes uses site-​friendly designs to minimize impact on the land and neighbors. We stand behind our design and craftsmanship and work alongside home buyers to refine components to their satisfaction.

Bogdan Maksimchuk M.

Business Owner

Bogdan Maksimchuk has been working in the construction industry for more than 20 years and has extensive knowledge in building homes. Born in the Ukraine, he began his life-​long passion at only 15 years old as a brick setter for a local builder in his home town of Lutsk. In 1997 Bogdan moved with his family to the US and shortly thereafter started his own business in siding. In 2009 Bogdan founded Benjamin Custom Homes — now Barcelo Homes — and has been building cutting-​edge homes in the Seattle area ever since. Bogdan’s emphasis on integrity, great service and providing quality healthy homes at affordable prices has been, and continues to be, the keys to his success. Using the finest sustainable materials and newest building techniques, Bogdan’s goal is to build energy efficient, quality homes that meet his standard for livability — a home he himself would live in comfortably. Bogdan views building homes as more than just a job; it is a passion.
