Tiffany is amazing!!! She worked with me to create the perfect cake for my son’s first birthday party (we did a traditional Korean party called a doljabi). I sent her an idea and a photo of my son’s outfit and she literally created the cake I had dreamed up in my head! She also did a matching smash cake and matching mini cupcakes! I will be uploading the photos shortly! Her prices are also very reasonable and she is completely available to you and willing to brainstorm! 5 stars! Will be using her again!

Tiffany did an excellent job with my son’s birthday cake. I sent her a picture of exactly what I wanted and she delivered. The cake was not only a hit with the kids but the parents were all asking where I got the cake. I was happy to give them her contact info.

Bakerilly Cakes did a fantastic job on my step-​sons 6^th birthday cake! Sammy loved the mud look with chocolate cookie crumbs and he was amazed that the bottom tier of the cake looked like a big truck tire. Many of our guests kept complimenting the cake saying it was very moist and tasted very fresh. It was a chocolate tier and vanilla tier cake and let’s just say we didn’t have much cake left after the party. Overall we were very happy with the Monster Truck cake!

Tiffany twice now for a baby shower and birthday and have not been disappointed. I sent her designs and the cakes turned out exactly identical. She is very detailed in her work and the cakes are absolutely delicious! Not to mention, she responds very quickly to inquiries and is always easy to communicate with. I’ll keep on ordering from Bakerilly in the future!

Joie Cakes made the cupcakes for my daughter’s birthday party. The designs were creative and adorable — the kids loved them. The cupcakes were tasty and moist, and not overly sweet like they are at some bakeries. The buttercream frosting was really tasty.

i live in cleveland and my lover (potential future husband) lives in houston, tx. i found joie cakes on living social. he surprised me for valentines day 2014 with a beautiful bouquet of roses and cala lillies. i was so surprised by the flowers as we had discussed the flowers two months prior and i thought he did not care or hear me. well he listened! so, i needed a valentin’es day gift asap and a surprise at that! joie cakes to the rescue!!! not only did she call me in a different time zone (very early for her). she made his favorite cupcakes (red velvet) and chocolate chip cookies in the shape of heart added cake pops to the mix as well! he loved the package!!! my lover/​future husband was so surprised as he thought no one would give him anything for valentine’s day on the 14^th. joie cakes to the rescue!!!

For brides– and grooms-​to-​be out there, Joie Cakes is one vendor my husband and I would definitely recommend! After researching many cake vendors (most of which were pricier than we wanted), we found Joie Cakes through Unilocal.We made an appointment with Tiffany, and she was very accommodating. She didn’t pressure or rush us, and she took the time to have a conversation with us about our wedding and what we wanted. We showed her a picture of a cake we liked, discussed options within our budget, and tasted samples, and afterwards, immediately knew we wanted her to be our cake baker. Tiffany also made the cake for my bridal shower, and once I saw and tasted that cake, I had no doubts our wedding cake would also be great. During and after the wedding, we received many compliments from guests that the cake was moist, tasty, and not too sweet (not to mention, really beautiful!). Best of all, we didn’t break our budget. For a three-​tier cake, anniversary tier, and full sheet cake (for 300 people), we spent about 500 dollars. Joie Cakes is affordable, professional, friendly, and a must consider!

First you must understand that my sister is a cake snob. She wants cake like Grandma made, with real butter in the buttercream frosting and moist cake made from scratch using basic ingredients. So when I threw her birthday party the pressure was on. Second, Joie Cakes delivered-​both literally and figuratively speaking. Tiffany was so easy to work with and she delivered the cake to my house exactly as promised. And everyone at the party asked about the cake. I look forward to another opportunity to work with Tiffany and taste her delicious works of art!

We are an events promotion and artist management company here in Houston. We do a monthly comedy shows at The Houston Improv and we sold out every show last year. To honor our President /​CEO for his birthday, we used Joie Cakes to provide not One but Two Cakes, as we had Two Shows that evening. Joie Cakes was responsive, helpful and creative! They asked our suggestions, took our event information, and created the perfect cake for each show. From the moment we contacted them, they were all about customer service and making sure that we were happy. The Cakes were beautiful and tasted amazing. Moist, Fluffy & Fresh, and not too sweet! We shared the cakes with our Loyal Supports who attended the show that night, there wasn’t even a crumb left at the end of the night, that speaks for its self!

Tiffany delivered a cake for my daughter’s birthday party yesterday. The cake was very cute, and all the guests said it tasted great (kids and adults)!!! Tiffany is very prompt to return phone calls and delivered the cake on time. I highly recommend and will be using her again!

Joie Cakes was one of my top choices when I was picking a groom’s cake & wedding cake. Why?

2) prices are detailed out so you know exactly what you’re paying for what & she’ll do her best to work with your budget
3) she’s very flexible in setting up meeting times and places

Take note: she works out of her home, so it’s not a full blown bakery with industrial equipment, so you may have to consult with her on how accurate she can mimic the design of the cake you’re looking at… but if you’re going for a rustic theme or having a fun kids or themed party cake, she can definitely do the job well!
Deposit is 50% to secure your date & delivery ranges (but about $ 25 around the Houston area & just outside the loop)

I came across Joie Cakes through a Livingsocial deal I purchased, and it was a super helpful and enjoyable experience working with Joie Cakes. I purchased cupcakes for my bf’s birthday through Joie Cakes and they were a pleasure to work with. I’m in California and he is in Texas so it was very important to get something to him on his birthday have it be a surprise and make it special. Joie Cakes help me do just that! They arranged everything with me through email and were so easy to work with. They even emailed me after the delivery to let me know he had received the cupcakes and that he looked very surprised! Tiffany of Joie Cakes is a promising young baker who I hired to bake my quartet of vintage-​look wedding cakes. She accommodated my request for different flavors and frostings for each cake and she decorated them nicely with custom cake flags and bunting I provided. She also made my grooms cake which was – I kid you not– made to look like a gigantic burrito! (You have to know my groom). And she did them all for a song, when you consider what other bakers are charging. She is *very* affordable, very professional, and her cakes are delicious!
