I went here after Gene Juarez effed up my hair. The fiancé got me a gift certificate for color and cut because the place looked upscale. Bless his heart, what great intentions he had. Obviously though quality on the outside don’t always reflect the quality inside but that’s for another review. Anyways, Angela saved my hair and kept me from looking like a freakin mess.
She has turned me into a brunette, blonde and redhead — all within a year and without leaving me bald! And to do that with my black hair is not an easy task especially in my blonde phase! She uses an organic line of hair color which made me feel a lot better about constantly making my hair go through the ringer!
Definitely recommend going to see her for anything. Never have I been disappointed! It got to the point where I sat down and she no longer needed to ask what I wanted. I trusted her to just let her do whatever color and cut she thought looked best.

Okay, so Angela’s been doing my hair for 5 or so years. After reading through her reviews, (like most people who have a strong allegiance to their stylist that makes them look A-​mazing), you know you can’t help but defend against a hater. Personally, I am not into challenging other people’s experiences. Especially one’s that don’t involve myself, but what I don’t like even more, is injustice. i have had enough experience with my kinky, wirey, blasian (that’s black and asian) hair, that I know a good stylist when I find one. I’ve had my hair burnt, pulled, stripped, you name it.
What I’d like to know is, who is the MD that would tell someone with any burn to put their head (or said burnt area) in a tub of cool water? Name names here. Can you say MRSA to name just one of the issues that could arise from soaking and any trauma? And come on, who is really ignoring someone who is BURNING in the first place. I mean, I was definitely in a house fire once. And although one may have grandiose ideas about how they would save the elderly and children. The moment I saw smoke, I stopped, dropped and rolled my ass out of the building. In other words, i got GHOST. i shamelessly left my cat for DEAD. So unless there was a fire, I don’t see Angela refusing to help a burning victim.
Now. Enough of that, and onto the real review. Like I said. I’m black and I’m asian. My hair has never been touched by anyone other than one or both of my people. Angela handles it, and does all of my chemical processes. Brazilian blower, Keratin, color, you name it. And I tell you what, anyone who burns me and doesn’t help me, isn’t getting a second chance. I’m not too keen on repeat offending, no matter when they respond to me, a year or otherwise. Lose my number, ya feel me?
Angela is skilled and awesome. Her prices are hands down the best. She does good hair. Watch the documentary.

A friend of mine has hair so beautiful that people call it «Angel Hair». I wanted to go to the person who made her hair look THAT good to see what she could do for mine. Best idea ever.
I love Angela! After a consultation and 1 color try, we decided dark red was the way to go — I love it. It’s the right color for me! I get wonderful compliments from all sorts of people and now I wear my hair down because it’s such a shame to put it up. I’ve recommended friends to her and will continue to do so. This lady knows how to make your hair look GOOD!

Angie has cut and colored and done brazilian blow outs for me for several years!!! She is professional and often obtains further education on her craft! Angie Is fair with her prices and will go out of her way to make her customers feel safe and more like family than just strangers getting their hair done. I have recommended her on several occasions. All of my friends have been happy with their hair cut, or color. In fact, my niece whom I love more than life is a hair stylist, but, because of how Angie understands my hair, I cant see my neice. Try her, once you do, you will go no further.

I was looking for an affordable place to try the Brazilian Blowout, and stumbled across Angela’s Designs. I have super-​thick curly hair, and Angela did a terrific job. She’s knowledgeable, personable, and knows what she’s doing. I’m still amazed by how smooth and frizz-​free my hair is. I can’t stop swinging my hair around and playing with its silky softness. Bouncin’ and behavin’, like the shampoo commercials of days gone by. I finally have the hair I’ve always wanted! Thanks, Angela!

I’m so happy with my Brazilian Blowout!
I’ve tried everything to stop the fuzz. When Angela told me how great her service, the Brazilian Blowout is, I definately was willing to try it. She did a great job, my hair is smoother, shinier, easier than ever. I can simply blowdry my hair straight without products and a straightener. I airdryed yesterday and it was wavy, but NOT fuzzy!
She was right, it’s great!

Angela’s simply… Amazing! I have never found a hair stylist who will go so far out of their way to make my style fit me and make sure I actually like it (and if I’m not «feeling it» — — then she’ll fix it so that I do) …She’s VERY talented and has her creativity down pat. I could not think of going anywhere else. You can only leave feeling beautiful/​handsome and sexy :)
