Long time customer – LOVE Angela, she always does a great job! Very professional, always on time. I have followed her to 3 different locations and I would probably follower even further if I had to.

I love this place. I have been seeing Angela for a couple of years now after a lifetime of mostly mediocre hair experiences. The very first time I went in, she listened carefully and gave me the best haircut I’d ever had. My experiences have been consistently great ever since.

I’m officially a tweener. My hair is thick and curly, or it use to be. Now it is migrating to parts unknown. The top, where I am going bald, is straight and the sides are still curly. Imagine a clown with a comb over. But Angela makes it all blend together and is able to work with my head as it changes. She is also a wonderful person to listen to, full of smarts and good values.

I am so happy to have found Angela. She is my ‘Hair Angel’! I’ve been going to Salon Escada for over four years now, and she has helped me manage the transitions from my long hair, short hair and now mid-​length hair do. My hair is fine and thin, and somehow Angela is able to make the most of it! She is always able to give me the nice and natural looking highlights I envision. She even provided my sister and me with the advice and tools needed to create the hairstyle I wanted for my wedding that was taking place six hours (and out of reach) from her salon. And it WORKED!

Angela is fantastic at The Brazilian Blowout and other straightening treatments. My daughter and I both have seen Angela for several years to straighten our hair and reduce frizz. We have both gone to other salons for similar treatments and Anglea does the best work and has the best straightening treatments that we can find. She does it at a good price too. Both of us get 4 months of frizz-​free hair that is much straighter and easier/​faster to manage/​style after the treatment.

Angela was referred to me by a friend about 5 years ago when I mentioned how hard it is to find someone who does great highlighting. I was so impressed and have also enjoyed more recently the brunette color she chose with touch ups every couple months to hide the grey. Now that I’ve moved to north Edmonds, I continue to come to greenwood for hair treatments. I always feel relaxed after visiting. Highly recommended.

Very disappointed. I read the good reviews here and decided to have Brazilian treatment with Angela. My hair was not too frizzy or curly but I just wanted to make sure I won’t need to heat up my hair after each wash. I consulted with Angela and she assured me that with the Brazilian treatment I can get rid of the frizz and it smoothes my hair.
I personally think a good stylist should know what she’s talking about. Three days after my treatment when I washed my hair my hair went bank to its original state. And I paid $ 230 for this treatment. I even went over there and showed her my hair and she told me that I book a 30 minute session so that she can educate me on how to blow dry my hair. The only reason I did the treatment was that I did not want to style my hair every time I wash it. She was totally confused on why my hair type reacted in such way to the treatment. Which to me is just lack of experience. I refused to go there again so that she can «teach» me how to blow dry my hair. I asked her she just had an expensive flat iron on my hair and it is fare that she charges me for styling but she totally ignored me.
I am sure most of the other salons at least care about their customer service more and if they mess up with your hair they will partially reimburse you. I talked to my friends who did the procedure before and they all agreed that they haven’t noticed a thing about hair.

Came in to color my hair from dirty blonde to platinum. Dane Tuttle was my stylist and he did an amazing job. He went to great lengths to protect my hair from too much damage. It came out wonderful and I love my hair! I would recommend him for any color job you may need! If you’re looking for someone who truly cares about your hair, he’s your guy!

I had my hair cut and colored by Dane, and he did a fantastic job! The place was really cool and definitely worth the price!

I can’t believe it has taken me this long to write a review! I would like to say that my Love Affair with Salon Escada started back in early 2013 when my friend referred me to see Angela. I had just had a terrible experience with a well known salon in Downtown Seattle and really wanted someone I could trust to fix their mistake.
My first time meeting Angela was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in a salon. Simply because, she sat me down and fully assessed my hair. She could tell right off the bat that I was a gym junky because I wash my hair too often after a workout. She could tell it was curly, even though I straightened that morning! She spoke about how thick my hair was and my genes based on the thickness level. Who knows that stuff?! — A professional, that’s who.
I trust Angela so much that I took my mom in for a consultation this past summer. My mom does NOT trust easily when it comes to people cutting her hair. After speaking with Angela, my mom has said a phrase I didn’t even think she knew «Angela, that sounds amazing. I fully trust you. Do what you think is best to sooth my hair».
Angela has now been with me through trims, chops and bangs. She is known as the «Hair Whisper» between me and my friends. I refer her to anyone who deserves to be referred to her. She’s an absolute delight and always lets you know the pros and cons before any crazy decision you may have. I recommend bringing in a pinterest board of your thoughts. It’s her favorite thing to go through with her clients.
She’s brilliant and has the up most professional mind set I’ve ever seen in a hair artist.
Go see her. You won’t regret it. She’s 100% worth the experience.

Dane is an exceptional stylist and I followed him here from another salon.
I count the day that Dane subbed in for another stylist after just moving up from LA a couple years ago the best day in my hair’s life. He’s an artist, he’s a perfectionist, and there isn’t a week that goes by without someone asking me where I get my hair done. He pays attention to subtle angle changes and movement like no other I’ve worked with over the years and it just keeps getting better the longer he works with your hair. I literally don’t have bad hair days anymore.
I also had my husband go to get his haircut with Dane and (while I’ll love that man forever no matter what he looks like) he looks so much more put together and handsome now! He even said it was the best hair cut and he gets why women fuss so much about finding a good stylist. Hopefully that’ll stick with him ;)
The salon itself is very cute, has a good vibe, and is somewhere I don’t mind spending an hour. You can tell these folks care very much about not only their clientele, but their business in a very genuine way, which is a refreshing experience in the hair world. I look forward to continuing to recommend Dane and Salon Escada to anyone who asks me about my hair.

Dane is fantastic. He always gives me the best haircuts I’ve ever had. He is very thorough and pays attention to every detail. He is creative and has the skills and expertise to back it up. I chose him to cut and color my hair just before my wedding because I knew he would make me look and feel fantastic — and he did! Whether you want to to do something subtle, classy and elegant, or something outrageous and showstopping — Dane can make it happen. I trust him completely. Thank you Dane!

I love love love Angela. She’s been doing my hair for about 4 years. She’s skilled, knowledgeable, very talented, and hilarious. She did my hair for my wedding AND she arranged to have a makeup artist friend of hers do my makeup all in Angela’s studio so I didn’t have to go to multiple places. I looked amazing! Her space is clean and bright. Prices are very reasonable. And you can schedule online! She listens to what you want and I always leave her place looking like a million bucks.

It took a little longer than I would’ve liked but there was so much to be done and I had all the time in the world so I didn’t care so much. I went in for a balayage but also to fix my ombré done from before. It took about 4 hours since part of the reason was the color fix. My initial ombré looked really orange. My problem with the first ombré I got, which was at a different salon was really choppy and had hard lines in it. It didn’t gradually blend in like I wanted it to. Davie and I had good conversation and although I was falling asleep by the 3^rd hour, he was very insistent on getting it perfect. And was very understanding when I actually did fall asleep. All in all, the owner was great as well… she initially did the consultation on me. It’s a really casual environment when you walk in and everyone is really friendly. I can tell that a lot of their clientele are regulars of the salon. I will be back to finish up what Davie and I started on… although my balayage looks great, we are not fully finished yet. I will keep you all updated.

I recently moved to Seattle & had to unfortunately leave my hairdresser behind as well. I was really needing a trim & wasn’t sure where to go. I was very fortunate to find Davie at Salon Escada! I have fairly long hair & my number one concern when trying a new hairdresser is having more hair cut off than I have in mind. Lucky for me, Davie trimmed my hair exactly as I wanted. I am grateful to have found Davie at Salon Escada!

Davie always leaves me walking out of the salon feeling and looking like a million bucks! I have in the past had long term hair stylists ten plus years, but for other reasons we parted ways. So I was frantic to find a new stylist. I am mixed so my hair is natural curly & very thick, it takes a lot of patience to deal with my head lol. Davie gives the best shampoos and press’s my hair bone straight, he also does my colors. I have attached some photos. Go check him out! Hes the best=) He will be my hair stylist for the long haul ;)

I love to walk out of a salon happy with my hair! I originally went in today for a color touch up and braids but was interested in the Brazilian Blow Out. My hair has always been curly and lately I’ve gotten a bit tired of it. Davie explained the process to me and I decided to give it a try. Davie did an absolutely beautiful job on my color and I really am impressed with the Brazilian – my hair is now stick straight, shiny and soft. I never knew that it was possible to have such straight and healthy looking hair. Davie was enthusiastic and reassuring. It was a great experience. I highly recommend Davie Beeks and Salon Escada.

Angela worked wonders on my hair. My hair is naturally very thick and coarse and wavy, not to mention damaged from all the colors i’ve dyed it over the years. She gave me foils to brighten up my hair and applied the global keratin treatment. It’s a godsend. My hair is so lovely and straight and soft now. The salon is a very peaceful, friendly place. I’m so happy to ring in the new year with some new and improved hair!

Angela is amazing!!! In the past, I have been scorned by other hair stylist from cutting my hair too short, sideways (yes sideways), when I have just asked for an inch trim and fixing my hair color. Angela, has been fixing my hair from other hairstylist! Two weeks prior to my wedding she had to fix my hair color, she was able to fit me in to her busy schedule. If your looking for a hair stylist, Angela is the way to go!
