Aloha Forwarding

These guys are good if you have no choice. Some places only ship via UPS or FedEX which cost a fortune to ship to Guam, so its ok.
SUPER OVERPRICED THOUGH! But again, it’s ok if you have no choice. I can’t wait til an alternative comes out and gives these guys competition, forcing them to lower their outrageous prices.

Worst shipping experience ever!!! STAY AWAY!!! Do yourself a favor and don’t get scammed by them like they scammed me.
I was given a UPS shipping quote from my vendor in the amount of $ 256.18
This was for 2^nd day air to Hawaii. I was looking for cheaper shipping options via google and stumbled upon Aloha Forwarding. Their site was very convincing on why I should use them and that my overall savings could be upwards of 40% of what UPS or FEDEX would cost me. I was obviously sold on this idea and signed up.
Basically you have your vendor ship your items to Aloha Forwarding and then they add a SMALL handling fee on and ship it via USPS PRIORITY MAIL.
I was feeling good about my decision and placed my order with my vendor and paid $ 60.49 to have my items shipped UPS ground from Pheonix, AZ to SeaTac, WA were Aloha Forwarding is located. I was notified today that they received my packages and they provided me with an invoice with shipping options of PARCEL POST or PRIORITY MAIL. PARCEL POST was never an option I would consider and I was quite insulted that it was even presented to me. In my past experience PARCEL POST takes 2+ months to arrive in Hawaii. Well that being said all that was left was PRIORITY MAIL which was the only option I considered when i fell for this scam.
Aloha Forwarding’s invoice was unbelievable to say the least!!!
$ 281.53 PRIORITY MAIL FEE
$ 46.75 HANDLING FEE
$ 60.49 UPS GROUND FEE FROM MY VENDOR TO ALOHA FORWARDING.
For a grand total of: $ 389.03
vs. my UPS 2ND DAY AIR OPTION FROM MY VENDOR OF $ 256.18
$ 132.85 MORE THAN UPS!!!
I am having these BORDERLINE CRIMINALS ship back my packages back to my vendor hopefully for the same $ 60.49 it cost me to get to WA.
My vendor will then ship my items to me for the original $ 256.18 UPS 2ND DAY AIR QUOTE. At the end of the day I lost at least $ 120.98 in UPS GROUND fee’s and several weeks of time vs. the original 2 day air to Hawaii.
Funny thing about all of this still is the fact that if I chose these BORDERLINE CRIMINALS to complete my shipping needs it would STILL be $ 10.00 more than all the back and forth ground shipping to my Vendor.
BUYER BEWARE!!! STAY AWAY FROM ALOHA FORWARDING!!!
THEY WILL POTENTIALLY CAUSE YOU THE WORST HEADACHES OF YOUR LIFE!

I live on Guam, and as much as I like to support the local economy. Let’s just face it for certain things (especially electronics), there’s not a lot of supply, and the markup at times is ridiculous (like 30−50% more, sometimes even 100%). i.e. I’m not going to spend $ 300 for a paper shredder that only cost $ 150 in the states.
This is all fine and dandy, but there is one major problem ordering off-​island. A lot of companies, ebay sellers, and even some Amazon vendors included will not ship to Guam. Due to many reasons such as expensive cost to ship via DHL, FedEX or UPS to Guam. Some sellers do NOT realize that Guam is NOT part of Asia and there are restrictions out exporting US electronics to Asia. And most likely due to the added inconvenience of having to fill out a customs form through USPS (the only reasonably priced way to ship small packages to Guam). And unless you have a friend/​family on the US mainland who is willing to forward you the packages, you were pretty out of luck.
Aloha Forwarding has solved this problem for me. As long as the package fits within the size/​weight requirements of USPS, Aloha Forwarding will ship you the item. The process is pretty simple. Order your item, get it sent to them, put in a forwarding request, and they will forward it to you with the shipping method you designate. They even offer a repacking service to try and save you some money on shipping.
The prices are VERY fair. about $ 5 – 10 per package (depending on size of package), $ 2 extra for them to fill out Guam’s inconvenient but required US customs form for every package going to Guam. Another $ 2 for repacking (if requested). The rest of the cost is just whatever USPS charged, and they use your credit card. This may seem like a bit of extra money to add, but honestly it has saved me tons of money already. i.e. Bought a POE switch for $ 750, the shipping with express cost me around $ 60 total, if I bought it locally (it still would have needed to be special ordered) it would have cost me $ 1300.
For anyone in a similar situation as myself. I highly recommend Aloha Forwarding. Their prices and service is fantastic. They always respond to emails within 1 business day, and also will do simple things like price quotes between parcel and priority mail so I can determine just how badly I want the product to show up sooner than later. Aloha Forwarding is awesome.
