We do this every day through our highly trained call center to our friendly uniformed truck team members, who will take anything non-​toxic that two people can lift.

Most often, people hire us after they’ve moved, when they’re doing fall or spring cleaning, when the kids move out of the house, when they’re having an estate sale, or after an eviction (for property managers).

We’re especially proud of our same-​day service (which means you can call us or book your junk removal online, and we can be there the very same day to take your junk away) and our proven dedication to the environment. We only use transfer stations, charities, and recycling centers for disposal of the junk we collect. None of your items will go to a dump or landfill. We don’t even have an account at the landfill! If an item we pick up is in good enough condition to be reused, we donate it to a local charity. Horrific experience when I tried to call then to get an estimate. H e quoted me 97 $ + tax for a removal of a loveseat from my apartment. I basically got that couch for free so wanted a minute to think about it. So I indicated that I will call him back. The guy taking the call got very rude and basically screamed at me. in a very bad tone, he asked me what is the problem and why do I have to call back. Expressing concern is one thing but harassing your customer on the phone is not going to get you the client. I had to hang up.

Scheduled for 3−5PM on a Sunday. On Sunday they call at 8:30AM asking if they can come now. We say «no we aren’t available until the afternoon». They call again at 9:30 asking to come now. Again we say no. They don’t like that answer and try to persuade us that we should (it won’t take long, etc). Still we say no. I don’t get many chances to sleep in, so being woken up twice on a Sunday is annoying, especially after we said no the first time.
I can’t comment on the service because we cancelled due to the second call. We already said we can’t move the appointment, so don’t call again to convince us we can.

Very efficient, easy set up and were prompt and courteous. Can’t ask for much more than that. I think prices for this kind of service are a bit high but that seems to be the norm with all of them. So if that’s the case might as well go with a good one such as Got Junk.

i paid 128 bucks to get a 2 piece sectional couch removed. seattle rubbish wanted 155 so i went with these guys since i was quoted 138 over the phone. the guys came out the next day and wanted 217. they also said i couldn’t use a 10% coupon i had. i made them eat it all at the call price + 10% off + 4% tax.
what’s the point of having a quote if you aren’t going to stick by it.

We had a lot of big furniture to either sell or donate, but many charities will not take sleepers sofas regardless of their condition. What to do?
I called 1−800-Got Junk and the service was fast, professional, polite and genuine. We had a garage sale at 8 am, and by 11 knew that we were going to be left with a lot of large furniture we needed to get rid of fast. I called them at 11, and they were able to schedule a free estimate and possible pickup that day at 3. They called 30 minutes before to confirm and arrived on time. Chris and Anthony were professional and fast. They gave me an estimate and answered my questions without pressure. Bottom line, they loaded up an entire truck load of what we asked at a decent price and were in and out with a truck load (in 90 degree heat) in 15 minutes. Awesome! I’ll definitely use them again.

The guys worked really fast. It was very hot and it didn’t spoil their mood — very pleasant and funny. I did not think it was possible for someone to lift a 5 drawer cabinet over the top of the truck. They were incredibly strong! I will call them again when I find more junk in my house and will recommend to friends.

The guys (Jarik & Karl) were EXTREMELY efficient, friendly and all around wonderful. I was pleasantly surprised and so glad i went with this company. I will DEFINITELY be utilizing their services in the future for any junk removal needs. Jarik and Karl were great about explaining how things work and seemed to have fun while doing it. Their commitment to superior customer service reflected in their demeanor. Thank you to you both! You brightened my day & you can count me as VERY satisfied as a consumer. Worth every penny!
Side NOTE: When you call to set up the appointment, the call center staff is also wonderful. They were friendly, competent and cheery. Not what you usually expect these days from call centers.

Pricey, but worth it. This is not the sort of service where you call up some Billy-​Bob in a broken-​down leaky old pickup, and he shows up (if you’re lucky) with a hangover, a dirty T-​shirt, chaw in his lip, trampling your petunias, and leaving a trail of muck in his wake as he hauls your stuff away for $ 50.
This is a class act.
The haulers (Mike and Jarek) showed up on time in a clean, well-​maintained truck. They were polite, neatly attired and friendly.
We had not called ahead for an estimate, so the near $ 500 price tag for the haul-​away we were given upon their initial assessment of the load size staggered us– we were hoping to pay $ 200 or less.
But I found a deal through Unilocal to pay $ 50 for $ 100 on the service, and that took a little sting out of it. And there was the service itself; the fellows were quick, efficient workers, respectful of our time and property, and our neighbors’ as well. We literally only needed to point, and they would take it away. Like a magic wand for clutter and debris! (Disclaimer: Magic Wand doesn’t work on hazardous waste like old batteries, paint cans, poisons, or landlords.)
Instead of a precious weekend day-​off spent lifting and sweating in the dirt and sun, screwing around with rental trucks and stinky runs to the recycling center, I get two strong, well-​mannered young men that turn a full-​day of filthy hard labor into a quiet, relaxing Sunday springtime afternoon.
That, my friends, is worth a few C-​notes. Recommended!

I really appreciated the good service I got today from 1−800-GOT JUNK! Dante and Mikey were here and were professional and extremely nice. They were quick and efficient and careful of the surroundings. I felt badly that they had to go up and down a flight of stairs, but they had a great attitude and put me at ease. I would highly recommend this service!

Jackson and Jerrick were great!
These two came and looked at our load of «junk.» We had 4 huge 12 foot rolls of carpeting. Carpeting is tricky because you can’t donate it. We negotiated a price and away it went. They were nice and funny. They even swept up after themselves. The whole thing took about 5 minutes. Awesome!

These guys were awesome. So friendly and funny, yet still professional. They had to charge me the minimum, which was more than I was hoping to move just a mattress and bed frame, but they were good about making sure I had every opportunity to get my money’s worth. They asked several times if there was anything else I needed to get rid of. I would definitely use them again and would highly suggest that the two guys who came out get a big raise for being so awesome.

Quick service, they asked to and came 3 hours early. Much appreciated. Price was ok.
They wanted to charge an extra $ 100 to haul away a 2ft x 3 ft x 1 inch slab of concrete and the same volume of crushed concrete. I get it, but for a company that claims they charge on volume not weight it would’ve accounted for $ 300 to haul away just over a pick-​up tricks worth of crap. I think this was more company policy than the on-​site team. Although their tip would’ve definitely been beefier if they had been more accommodating now I have to find another way of finishing the job I needed them for.
Ultimately they were friendly, punctual, and efficient. I would use them again, but not for smaller loads. I would only recommend if you need a small dump truck.

They did a great job moving some of our old furniture when we moved. They were QUICK! It would have taken a Uhaul (and time to get and return said Uhaul), plus 3 men to move everything out of our place. And of course, if friends helped move everything I would have bought pizza and beer. All said and done, Got Junk was cheaper than renting a truck and buying pizza and beer for friends.
I was also impressed with how quick and easy it was to schedule. I just called 1800GOTJUNK (imagine that?), and got an appointment next day. I had a 2 hour delivery window and they called 30 minutes prior to the window to tell me exactly when they’d be there, and they were exactly on time.
I suppose my ONLY reason for the lack of star is that they hadn’t noted anywhere that I had a Unilocal deal. They used it willingly but it took a second to write it all down. I feel this could have been done over the phone when I scheduled. But it all worked out!

I was quoted a higher price on the phone, which was still reasonable to us, since we didn’t want to have to lug our heavy junk and donation items ourselves and worry about our backs or the weight of getting it to the junkyard. I found an online coupon for $ 25 off, but they offered $ 10 off on the phone, When they came in person, they took $ 35 off our total.
We hurried to get everything in one place in the garage to make it easier for them to take away. Well they called half an hour before arrival, as promised and they came at the early end of the timeframe mentioned to us, so we didn’t have to wait around at all. And we just kept working on our pile in the meantime.
Great motivation to donate and clean out junk. When I booked the appointment I didn’t even have our pile ready. The best thing you can do if you are a procrastinator like I am, is book the appt, estimate how much stuff you think you will have and then work on your pile in the garage, have everyone dump what they don’t want anymore.
It ended up being pretty fun and I now park both cars in our garage and am not walking in the rain anymore. It’s wonderful.
The guys were kind and showed up with friendly personalities and were kind to talk to. I would call them again in a heartbeat once we have another handful of things to get rid of.
I scheduled it all online and called to confirm as they cannot give you a final price without seeing what you have, but they have a satisfaction guarantee, if you don’t like the price when they show up you can send them away. Seemed fair to me. :)

Called 1 – 800 Got Junk last minute to see if they could haul away a three seat couch and overstuffed love seat. As a matter of fact I needed these two pieces of furniture gone the very next day.
Luckily I was able to get an appointment on my desired day! I was told they would arrive between 11:30 and 1:00. At 10:30 they called and said they would arrive at 11:30. Then at around 11 I received a text saying they would be late (traffic) and arrive at noon. I appreciated the status updates and met them right at noon.
The two guys who hauled my furniture were very friendly and professional. I paid $ 153, a bit less than what I was quoted over the phone. Perhaps a bit pricey, but they were a lifesaver because I needed that furniture removed ASAP. There was also no way I wanted to haul that giant couch down the millions of stairs in my very urban and compact Lake Union apartment.
I just hope my furniture ended up being donated! It was sad to see the pieces go, but I had no use for them in my new place. So thanks 1 – 800 Got Junk!

They called as they were running early and asked if I’d be ready. Considering it was a Friday night, I was grateful!

We have been doing some clearing in the yard & made a large pile that we wanted to have hauled away. I looked online at the pricing based at what I think the volume in the truck would be and laughed at what they charge. Not sure if it would actually really cost that much I scheduled a truck to come and take a look.
Really nice guys, called 30 minutes before and we met in the driveway to talk about the items I needed removed. We spent the time making the pile neat & into manageable sizes for easy removal. Just as I found online he quoted me based on the amount of space it was going to take up that it would be $ 450. SUCH A JOKE! He didn’t have control over it and I feel bad that these guys worked for this company that scams people!
HOW DO YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT 1800 Got Junk?
I called my Dad who is a contractor to tell him how much they wanted and he laughed and told me that he was in the wrong business. But none of us could image ripping people off like that!
Today we rented a small uhaul for what ended up costing us $ 29 out the door with mileage, a dump charge of $ 49.50 & 2 hours later the pile was gone. Ummmm…$ 80 is a little different that $ 450! Shame on you 1800 Got Junk
