History

Established in 2013.

I started this company out of frustration with the larger companies in the area failing on the Customer Service side of this business. I have been plumbing for 26+ years and in furnaces for 15+, I’ve seen one man shops grow to successful shops with almost no advertising and asked many times «how can they do it with no adverts?» Well I knew from what my dad taught me but I got hung up in the larger shops until now. Customers feed my children so I’d best take care of the customers.

Navy brat till 16, Used Job Corp to get a step up and out, went to sea as a Merchant Marine Engineer traveled around the globe a few times. Finally got the urge to start a family and came ashore. In an engine room it’s all plumbing, pipes and valves everywhere. So I got into what folks call Plumbing, started in new construction got so darn bored with the same stuff day in and out. Went to Service work and found the perfect fit with my skills and want in the working world. I found I really enjoy plumbing and the furnace work is just fun. Since coming ashore and getting with my Job Corp sweetheart, we’ve three great sons, 14, 10 and 4. Married for 17years now and looking forward to the rest. I have a great life.

I just had Dave and his son out to my house. Real nice to see him showing his son the business! I called to set up an appointment and he was in my area so asked if he could just stop by since it was not a big fix that was needed. Dave took a quick look and gave me a quote which was really close to the guess he gave me on the phone. In no time at all, Dave and son were done with the project. Dave even voluntarily gave me some advice that will help my plumbing in the future. Hopefully I will not need a plumber anytime soon but if I do it will be Dave at Worx.

Contacted Worx a few months ago, and OMG I’m so glad I found Dave! I had an overflowing sump pump in the back yard. He gave me estimates on how much it would be to unclog it, and ALSO educated me on what the real problem was and whether or not it was worth the fix. Dave was nice and genuine, and really loves what he does! That is the kind of attitude I respect!

Finding a trustworthy plumber that gets the job done at a reasonable price is nearly impossible.
We recently had a problem with our shower not turning off and Dave from Worx did a great job fixing it and a few other things around the house. He got the work done quickly and within budget.
I would highly recommend them if you need any work done.

I called these guys because my sink was leaking at my business and Dave popped right over within an hour. I was so impressed. He had me all fixed up in no time, and didn’t charge me an arm and a leg. I like to fix things around the house but when it comes to pluming I’ve seen enough to know it’s better to have a professional come out to do it. That’s when I met Dave. While remolding my bathroom I purchased a new toilet and needed it installed. Dave was highly recommended by a friend. He came out, was very knowledgable and was pretty clear in explaining to me the whole process. He even offered an additional service to haul off the old toilet at a price that wasn’t bad compared to the headache of loading it up, taking it to the dump, and paying fees there. It was such a relief to deal with someone who still has pride in their work and made sure I was taken care of.
