I had been here before a couple of years ago and the coffee was good. That’s why I decided to stop here again. Mistake! I ordered a white mocha. The coffee was bitter and not a slight taste of the white chocolate. 20oz for $ 5 was a total waste. I would not stop here again even if it was the only coffee shop in town.

I have been a coffee lover for well over 50 years and have never found a better cup anywhere. Invariably gracious service, a warm/welcoming environment and yummy cheddar bagels makes a visit to the Seaside Coffee Roasting Company a great way to start my day.

A little coffee shop with some hit or miss things. The place is a little dirty. The food is pretty good. It’s wonderful they have some healthy options. I ordered the green meanie and the boss. Green meanie was gross cuz the coffee but the boss was delicious. I got the light sandwich and it was simple and good. I would probably return but only order to go smoothies since inside is a little gross.

Can’t beat the friendly staff here! We’re not locals but we visit Seaside often and Michelle always remembers us and makes us feel like locals. Her friendliness and upbeat, positive attitude makes our morning visits a delight! The coffee is dark, fresh, and strong. It’s really amazing coffee with a distinctive flavor I can’t really compare to anywhere else. Breakfast sandwiches are yummy and fresh. Also a decent selection of muffins/pastries/smoothies/etc. Your order here might take a few minutes and that’s okay because you’re probably on vacation and need to slow down anyway! The shop itself has good window spots for people watching and comfy, funky furniture to hang out for a bit. I love pretty much everything about this place, especially the staff.

The midnight rendezvous dark roast coffee is hands down the best dark roast coffee I have ever had. We live in Vancouver, WA and either make a special trip out to the coast or I order bags of it as it can’t compare to anything else I’ve had. This is such a great little coffee house with friendly staff, so worth the stop!

Each of our three mornings in Seaside we stopped in for coffee and tea. The boy prefers a tasty flavoured latte with a non-dairy milk, which was available with many to choose from. As a tea drinker my jones is easier to satisfy, and satisfied it was with a variety as well. Good service and conveniently located in the village.

Yummy Gluten-free bagel breakfast sandwich and iced Americano was perfect! Great service and reasonable prices. Will definitely stop again when we visit Seaside!

Cool little coffee shop just off the main drag in Seaside. All your normal coffee drinks and a small assortment of food. Don’t expect a Starbucks, but do expect an independent coffee shop with its own unique flair.

The shop itself reminds me of a 24⁄7 spot I go to in Portland. The aesthetic is that of a local hangout and I loved that. However I had a bad experience with the woman at the counter who seemed bothered by my questions. It’s simple, «Do you have anything vegan?» I don’t expect everyone to know what Vegan is but I do expect them to know what is in there food. Frustrated, I ordered a coffee with coconut milk. When my coffee came to me(shortly after I sat) I tasted it and it was burnt. This wasn’t just a little burnt it was burnt to shit. I couldn’t even taste the coconut milk. It was pretty much inedible. Maybe I’m spoiled because I have coffee, and good coffee readily available to me at any point in the day but this was just bad.

Friendly service, great food, vegetarian options, healthy options. Universal comfy coffee shop vibe and better than average free wifi. The americano tastes burnt. Could have been from Starbucks. But I haven’t found any better coffee is Seaside.

We’re visiting from California for 4th of July and I’ve been here every day since we got here! Their coffee is extremely fresh and tasty, much better than Starbucks :). I love the soy latte and my daughter orders the delicious caramel cascade blend. The only downfall is that it’s always crowded and because there’s only a few employees, the drinks take a bit longer. The girls who work the front are super friendly and have great customer service. She allowed me to take a pic of her because I want that very same hairstyle lol!!!

Coffee was tasty and so were the bagel breakfast sandwiches! Small town coffee shop feel with friendly staff. Ordered a Toffee Coffee Latte and a Caramel Latte. Great balance of the coffee and flavoring without tasting overly sweet. There were just two gals busily running the front end so we waited a little bit for our drinks but our drinks were brought to us in a reasonable amount of time. Then again we were not expecting a 60 sec latte. We were expecting small breakfast sandwiches but were pleasantly surprised with a sizable creation. Egg was cooked perfectly and bagel was fresh. The seating area has plenty of plush seating for comfy sipping and reading. We will definitely come back when we’re making another run up/down the Oregon coast!

The place itself is pretty neat. Its a cozy spot right in the center of seaside. They had a lot of comfortable seating and the prices were very reasonable. But at the end of the day this is a coffee shop and the quality and taste of the coffee makes or breaks the place, hence my 3 stars. If the customer service was not as awesome as it was and the environment as neat as it was I would be giving this place a much lower rating. I think if they use a milder blend of espresso grinds(Something much less oily), and they grind per drink they will have much better results.

They make a tasty beverage, but they sure take their time doing it. There was no line and no other pending drink orders, but somehow my drink took about 10 minutes to make. I’m sure the delay was an anomaly, and I plan on giving them another shot next time I make a trip to the coast.

Cute, funky coffee shop that can be slow in making drinks — I think it took the person 10 minutes to make an Americano and a Mocha for me — but they were honestly some of the best-tasting coffees. I got a caramel mocha no whip, and it was the perfect amount of sweetness to strength and no bitterness. Likewise the Americano was smooth and not bitter at all. I was very impressed and will come back here whenever i’m in the area.

Extensive selection, flavors, and creativity here I had the Chocolate by Death drink and well it was Chocolaty and delicious. Great stop on our road trip through seaside.

Went to Seaside to heal after suffering a severe injury while thru-hiking the Pacific Crest Trail this summer. I was beyond filthy and probably looked like a homeless person. Nevertheless, I still needed a place to relax: sip some coffee, catch up on some Game of Thrones, etc. The staff were very friendly and not once did I feel pressure to take my dirty, bandaged leg out of there. Which is more than I can say about other businesses in the area. Even the McDonalds judged me. This isn’t a fancy, touristy type establishment. It’s a place frequented by locals and has a very communal atmosphere. If you’re a tourist looking for foods you can take pictures of to post on Facebook and make your friends jealous, this place ain’t gonna provide that. If you’re a traveler looking to meet people and experience the local community, this is a good place to gather.

Let me guess: you’re in Seaside, looking for a local coffee shop, and you’ve pulled up this business. And while Unilocal’s been helping you make some of your best decisions since 2005, you’re torn because half of the reviews are ranting and the other half are raving. I understand — I was in your shoes last weekend. So let me help you make your decision: If you’re looking for a killer breakfast sandwich, gluten-free options(including bagels), friendly staff, free wifi, seemingly endless tea selections, fresh fruit smoothies, a place to lounge for a bit, and/or local flavor in the form of art, décor and community, this is your spot. If you’re looking for great coffee and great coffee alone, skip. There were a lot of things I liked about this place, but unfortunately the coffee wasn’t one of them. There. Does that help?

Beautiful family owned coffee shop with bikes from the 70’s and older. Lots of comfortable seating, sofas, tables. A cherry tomato plant in the front window. Pictures from local artists on the wall for sale . It feels like your friends living room. Friendly staff An enjoyable experience
