Sorry, but I can’t say anything nice about my experience except that they were able to fit in 3 pedicures on a short notice. We were ushered into a dark room and while our feet soaked in a warm bucket of water, we proceeded to get massages. Hmm. That’s weird. I didn’t ask for a massage — but oh well. Just go with the flow. My gal started with a very aggressive scalp rub with oil, so I knew I’d have to delay my dinner reservation due to having to wash my hair. Oh well– just go with the flow. The massage continued on my arms and legs — and many times I said to «take it easy» «ouch» «softer please» and all the cue words. Another woman came and proceeded to do a very VERY fast pedi cure while the massage (ouch) continued. My friends had a different experience and said it was a light soothing massage. When we were done I was asked «you like hard massage, right?). I replied NO! We were taken to the next room where they put on one coat of polish and top coat. Terrible French manicure with uneven lines! One day later the top coat is peeling and it has chipped. Would NOT recommend!

I have to say this is the best massage that I have had in years !!! So glad I found GG’s salon will definetly be coming back here Steve was excellent my husband says wuda was awesome too

I would recommend this spa, had a great massage by Tatiana the manager, massage area was clean and very quiet and relaxing, would recommend booking ahead of time, I just saw their sign and asked, they got me in 15 min later, will call ahead next time. Was surprised how nice it is for such a small spa. Massage was very inexpensive, this really surprised me afterwards, I have been to many high end spa’s even Canyon Ranch and did not get as good a massage. Give them a try you’ll be surprised. I am also a bit if a neat/​cleanliness person and facility was very well maintained.

Save your money and your time, go somewhere else. After being stood up twice by Katdelina or Catalina, whatever her name is, my sister rescheduled for the 3^rd time only to receive a mediocre bob (which is not the style she asked for) and apparently it is the salon’s policy not to shampoo hair. Her hair wasn’t styled and she was told it would be extra to do so. Extra to style? How about you cover that for the time you made her waste when she was sitting at your salon waiting for you to show up to an appointment she called and confirmed TWICE. Then you cancelled on the second appointment because «something came up». Unprofessional and inconsiderate of other people’s time!

I pulled into the shopping center only to use the atm at Chase. I was actually backing out when I saw the sign advertising a full body massage. It seemed clean when i walked in but seriously this place is extremely clean. It looked brand new. Tatiana greeted me at the door and let me know what the specials were. She started in with a medium pressure massage but i ask for just a little more until she dialed tight into the perfect amount. About 45 min into the massage i had forgotten everything that was bothering me that week. Tatiana is a very skilled CMT. Tatiana said this place changed ownership just recently. I slept amazingly even in my door slamming all night hotel caugh caugh Clarion.

I went to G’g spa with my husband and received excellent service from the new manager Tatiana and her staff. They made us feel welcome and offered many more spa services they hadn’t offered in the past. I have to say this is not the same place I been to before everything was different, very nice & clean staff was very professional & prices were very competitive and very fair. I don’t usually give post out but I have to say G’g spa on Broadway in seaside is the new place to be!!!

First off, I’d like to make it clear that the only reason this post exist is because I believe my experiance with this business needs to be brought some type of attention from management (above the current manager).
I was referred to GG’s Salon by a co-​worker who is frequent customer with her husband. She informed me the massages were excellent especially for the price (which we both thought was underpriced but we aren’t complaining), so I did what any interested customer would do; I called to inquire.
When I called a women of asian decent answered (who barely spoke english but it didn’t bother me at all) I told her I was referred by a friend for the full body massage and I wanted to confirm the price ($ 25) she said yes. I told her great I’d like to schedule for later that night for my boyfriend and I. I scheduled for 8pm that night and before I hung up I wanted to confirm if they perform the massages on a bed or chair if we remove our clothes or not and she kept repeating they closed at 10 after trying to reiterate myself a few times and it going no where I just gave up and said ok I’ll see you later for the $ 25 massage.
Once my boyfriend and I arrived to the salon we noticed a sign at the desk that says Full Body Massage $ 55. The only person at the salon was an older female who only smiled and didn’t speak much english so we decided to ask someone else, once someone did arrive I brought it to their attention that I was told it was $ 25 but she told me it’s $ 55 and if we wished to continue with the appointment… I talked about it with my boyfriend and we decided what the heck we were there already.
I ended up with Susan and to my surprise she was amazing (6 out of 5 stars). My boyfriend however had a different experiance. The woman he received ended up using him more as a therapist than a client of her’s. She talked to him about her personal life (something you would only speak to your grilfriends/​sisters about. e. i: divorce, ex-​husband, moving from Bolivia & employees). And the massage he rated from a 1 – 10 told me it was a 2 (my daughter who is 4 gets better rates than that) because he felt she was distracted by the conversation and may I add he told me she was so close to crying that he was happy she was able to hold it in. Now, this is why I am posting (which if you look at my acct I hardly Unilocal about anything). Like any customer seeking the services of a spa we were looking to relax and give our bodies some attention from our lives. Instead my boyfriend could not relax because he was caring for a woman he did not know because he’s a kind hearted individual who didn’t want to be rude to a woman venting and on the verg of crying. Would you tell a female who was clearly hurting «Hey, I’m sorry you have problems but can you please do what I am paying you for?» and make it uncomfortable for the both of you? We weren’t difficult customers. I know some people would just ask her to stop and up an left but the fact of the matter is the type of service this woman was giving my boyfriend was unprofessional. We came in expecting a $ 25 massage rate and was told $ 55 and we were ok with it, we did not cause a scene or demand for them to honor what I was quoted.
The next day I called and come to find out the person my boyfriend had was the MANAGER not the OWNER (so she told my boyfriend) and her name is Tatiana. I was told to come in because it was an issue she felt best handled in person. Later that night I got a text from the MANAGER that said «Yes please and I would love to see your boyfriend too. And he can tell me how uncomfortable he was. Thank you. Have a good night.» Ummmmmm… Does anyone see anything wrong with how this manager does her job? How about how she handles complaints from paying customers? Which by the way because I assumed my boyfriend had just the same experiance as I did I tipped her and Susan $ 25 each.
Only reason I’m giving this busines 2 stars is because my other experiances with with GG’s (Monterey) were great as well as my massage with Susan. But I would not reccomend this Spa to anyone else.

My response is 1) I find it odd that this Miguel R. has been a Unilocaler since Febuary 2016. Did «HE» just out of the blue decide to create and account to compliment my post? 2) What MALE would take the time out of HIS day to personally «compliment» another users post that has nothing to do with him?
If Miguel R. is a legitamate user… I am happy you and your wife had a great experiance. But I think otherwise.

I have been here numerous amount of times to get my Brazilian and upper lip. Gigi is very quick but very thorough. After the wax she carefully goes through and tweezes. Most wax places are stingy when it comes to where they end their waxing. For instance, I’ll get a Brazilian but still have an obvious amount of hair on my stomach strip, like come on it would take one more wax! But if Gigi sees that you have hair she will get rid of it. At $ 45 for a Brazilian and $ 5 for the lip, her prices can’t be beat. I didn’t give it 5 stars because I think it could be a little cleaner. And I am always able to walk in without worrying about an apt.

I cannot believe how cheap this place was. I wasn’t planning on getting a massage when I was visiting Monterey but when I saw the price for a foot massage, my friends and I had to check it out. An hour-​long foot massage was only $ 25 and it wasn’t just a foot massage — it included maybe 20 minutes of body and head massage as well. The woman who did my massage was wonderful and knew exactly how to work out the kinks in my back. The foot massage was so relaxing I definitely fell asleep for a bit. Again, I can’t get over the price. The cheapest massage I’ve found in the DC area is $ 60 and it’s on the second floor of a mall with cloth partitions separating the tiny massage spaces. GG’s was a gem compared to what I’m used to on the East Coast. The décor is a little dated and the space in front is a little disorganized and messy but for 25 bucks, who cares. Would highly recommend. I wish there was a place like this in DC!

This whore house deserves negative stars! First of all I walked in to nobody being at the front desk. I called the phone number on the door and a Chinese lady answered saying I had the wrong number when I’m standing in the lobby hearing the phone ring. I sit down and wait and a nude guy comes out the back. She comes out saying did I call and still doesn’t ask me if I need help. Waste of time and money.

The absolute weirdest massage pedicure ever. I wasn’t expecting much for $ 45 bucks but this was horrible I couldn’t wait for it to be over.
First, they put me in this dark room with sandpaper-​like towels to lay on. I know they were clean because they reeked like bleach. The lady covered my face with the sandpaper like wash cloth and then some guy walked in. Didn’t say anything just started massaging my ears. So, then he started massaging my face and worked his way to the arms. He pulled and squished them and then did some weird thing to my hands. Then he had me roll over to my stomach and he gave me a paper towel to rest my face on. I kept trying not to look at the guy because I was afraid it would ruin the massage. He threw a towel over my back and the towel was so ruff it gave me a rug burn on my neck. He finished me off with the standard «chop chop» move. And said, «ok, done lady».
So, now time for pedi– she brought out a trash can with a can liner and plain ol Luke warm water. She scrubbed my feet with a pumice stone and back in the now cold plain water. Then it was time to «piccolor» I picked a nice neutral pink. She must have forgotten that a pedicure usually consists of an actual pedicure. So she smeared some polish on a tadaaaa! Donzo! I was on vacation with the hubby and he had to make a phone call we just happened to be parked across the street and I decided what the hay? Can’t be that bad. Over all I gave it a 2 because Everyone should experience this so they appreciate a real massage and pedi which should actually start at $ 150, not $ 45. No good service will ever be this cheap. Also, I question if these guys and gals are even close to being licenses.

Excellent foot massage. Just make sure you have exact change for the massage and a tip. For some strange reason they don’t really like giving you change…
Also, it’s almost impossible to call them and schedule anything because their English is so bad. Yikes.

Susan is phenomenal! I like a good and hard deep tissue massage, and she always delivers! She doesn’t speak much English very well (to be fair, her English is WAY better than my Chinese), but I’m not there for conversation, so that is fine with me!

I was in town for business and just popped in for a pedicure. It’s dirty and does not have regular chairs. Instead you sit in an uncomfortable overstuffed chair with a throw pillow to support your back. No visible license for the massage people. Avoid this place; (.

Foot massage is great and relaxing. Highly recommended!
They massage your body and feet for a total of an hour. You keep your clothes on and they are very professional and skilled.
Gg rescued me from a botched hair cut I got yesterday at another salon. Gg fixed my bangs and gave me what I really wanted. She looked at the photo of what I wanted my bangs to look like and immediately knew what to do. Within 10 minutes my bangs looked great!

I will go here from now on for haircuts and massages even though I am out of town.

I am still more than happy to get my hair cuts here. Perfect hair cut every time! GG has amazing skill and definitely knows how give you a great haircut.

WOW! My bf and I went in for a foot massage and it was super relaxing!
I got the guy and he had the girl. With the foot massage, you also get a fully clothed body massage starting with your face. Felt sooooo good! And only $ 25 what a deal!
By the way, I read a review that said the guy «touches» your butt… he does not «touch» your butt, he MASSAGES your butt, big difference. The girl does the same. If you feel uncomfortable with a butt massage make sure you let them know but trust me, the butt needs a good massage too from time to time. Also, let them know if you prefer soft, medium, or hard so they know what level you like.
They are also very nice and friendly :) The chairs are very comfortable and the temperature was just right.
I highly recommend the massages at this spot! You won’t be disappointed :)

I have been getting my hair done by Catalina for a few months now. She always finds time to squeeze me in her schedule & she perfects everything she does! Shes very charismatic and i have never left an appointment unhappy with my hair. The prices are reasonable for what she does. I have recommended a few people to her and i have only heard great things from others!

I see GG for regularly for waxing and to get my hair done and she is the absolute best!!! The prices are very reasonable, service is great, hours are convenient and she always does a wonderful job. If I could give more than 5 stars I totally would!

People like Jaime D are just cheap. complaning about everything they see. Hey, go buy yourself a box dye and do it yourself low baller.

This place is horrible! Ghetto, unsanitary, unprofessional, late for and forgot about booked appointment, charge more than originally quoted! awful haircut, blow out was beyond terrible! Could of done a better job in my sleep! should of went to super cuts! Probably would of done a better job for the price! (You know who you are!) This place doesn’t have a clue what they’re doing! Don’t recommend any services here at all what so ever!

As for gg she seems like a con artist. I had a gift certificate for a full body one hour massage for 35 $
I got during Christmas and I go to use it and I was told ggs wants to charge me the ten dollar difference. Luckily I wasn’t forced to pay this and I had a great experience. I would rather give my business directly to Christina than gg

I received a massage from Christina. One of the best massages I have had. She is very skilled and professional. Will definitely visit again.

This is the worst manicure/​pedicure I have ever had. Went here with a friend before a wedding in Monterey. They immediately forced us into a dark, grimey room for «free» massages with our mani/​pedis. Turns out the «free» massage was actually a $ 10 upsell on the mani/​pedi. We didn’t want the massages anyway, but they kept trying to force them.
We ended up with forcible foot massages with our pedicures. Very uncomfortable. When the manicure/​pedicure started, the technicians did not use soap or any disinfectants and grinded at our feet to the point where one of us started bleeding. While the foot massage wasn’t great, being followed up by the pedicure at least made it seem less painful.
The whole place is really dark and kind of dirty. It was obvious the technicians couldn’t see what they were doing very well, as evidenced by one spilling nail polish remover all over me. The manicure was extremely messy with no cuticle work and our nails were left with dirt under them. They finished off the manicure with a topcoat that had the gloppy texture and color of a polish that had been sitting on the counter for five years. They explained to us that it was «special» because it «air dries,» as they scraped the bottom of the nail polish bottle.
Overall, just really gross. Our mani/​pedis look like they were done by a 10 year old.

Terrible! — you arrive, they out your feet on a bucket, and the manicurists are not even there. Then the massage was awful and the guy was SUPER unprofessional. Kept touching my butt.
You might not believe me. Go see for yourself. manicure is HORRIBLE. Why would I pay for somebody just to file my nails and take my polish off? — no cuticle work.
Total for 2 «pedicures», manicures and one hour massage was $ 140. Rip off.
