Love this place. pacific smog across the street flagged my car (for no real reason) due to a catalytic converter that didn’t have some stupid sticker on it. anyways my cat needed replacement and bay muffler was cheaper than others by 100 bucks and was able to get it done quickly and without issue.

Why advertise custom exhaust work ON YOUR WEBSITE If your workers tell customers «no». Thats literally all i got and the guy went back to what he was doing. Dont bother here!

Probably ok if you’re just getting a replacement exhaust, but no good for any sort of custom work. I went in looking for a fairly easy job, just a catback system. I couldn’t get a quote for the work and was given some totally incorrect info. Didn’t exactly inspire me with confidence so decided to go elsewhere.

Have known Robert for years. Is a terrific welder and mechanic and is friendly and knowledgeable. I have not had reason to have any work done in recent years but noticed the second review (Tom S.) and wanted to comment. The review reveals that the reviewer has none of the qualities that Robert has especially considering that he would have Robert repair something he likely had nothing to do with in the first place. Shows that there are many people who not only are not please able but are just plain negative. But then foe all of us old fogies out here — it was quite evident.

This is a great shop, excellent and friendly service. I bought a hitch for my 2007 Camry and needed a mechanic to install it. Rob gave me a quote $ 125 and installed it. I went before to another shop in Marina and got a quote $ 240 as a «fair price» for labor, which would be a rip off (I made a little price research on my own for this labor). Thanks Rob!

I went here to repair my honda civic muffler. The weld fell off and it sounded as if I was driving a race car. Robert is the owner and he is a one man show. He has been working in automotive since the 1970’s he said. He charged me a very fair amount for the work that was done. He is also very friendly and down to earth he showed me after in his muffler handbook exactly which piece he replaced and explained what he did. I highly recommend Bay Muffler in the rare case you need muffler work or like me your muffler falls off. Excellent work, trustworthy (I left my car all day), honest and hands down fantastic work. My muffler actually sounds better (quieter) than even before it broke.

This is a very nice and honest Muffler Service. It is owned and operated by Robert. He does quality work at a reasonable price. He did the exact same job that I had estimates for half the price. Very impressed.
