Walking distance to the beach and restaurants.
Very clean pool is small but not crowded. Complimentary coffee and cookies. Came to Long Beach for hydroid bike had to much to drink during happy hours at the boathouse don’t want to drink home drunk so end up staying here.

A week in California and decided not to rent a car… not a problem. The Pacific Inn has been a good choice for a place to stay. Seal Beach, Main street shops, a grocery store, a pharmacy and much more within walking distance. We’ve also been able to schedule the hotel shuttle for our visit to the aquarium on Monday. It is working out great. The front desk people are always helpful and kind. Our room is clean and efficient. The warm fresh baked cookies smell great (in the lobby) yesterday too!

make sure you check your beds! worst experience ever! this was back in october 2^nd 2015 room # 332 !!!
we arrived late to this place, daughter asleep– laid down my 2 year old on one of the beds and my 3.5 yearold on the other bed… while my husband and i were fixing room and changing… i noticed something crawling on the pillow where my 2 year old was sleeping… (btw i hate bugs) so grab the pillow & took it to my husband to kill… surprise: bed bug!!! nasty! we picked the girls up, grabbed our bags & ran down to the front desk! worst part is the guy was not surprised when we showed him the bug… he said: oh yes, it’s a bed bug… and refund us our money!!!
after researching bed bugs, the size of it was a full grown one!!!
nasty, nasty nasty… make sure you check your beds! good luck!

Super friendly and helpful staff… Who really assisted me in a pinch! The front desk went above & beyond and I’m grateful for their help!
My room was huge, clean & even smelled very fresh… non chemical smelling… Just fresh!
Prime location… just steps from Main Street & a short walk or drive to the beach.
Free breakfast with a great selection…

This place was incredible. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay for 4 nights. I would base my next SoCal. vacation around staying at this place. You can head north to see Hollywood or south to Huntington Beach. Staff all around super friendly, breakfast was impressive, and the pool area was actually perfect. The hotel is super close to the beach, which I should add, is a very nice beach.

Absolutely loved my stay here at Pacific Inn. I needed a local vacation with my SO, just so we could get away and relax.
I want to start off by stating that I’ve stayed at places like Venetian, Palazzo, Caesar’s Palace, and Aria dozens of times where they have all kinds of great amenities and yada yada. BUT I really really loved staying at Pacific Inn. For the price, I think anyone would be happier with cheaper but I initially found them through kayak. I found that competing hotels/​inns that were slightly more expensive, didn’t have as prime a location as this place, no free breakfast, and the reviews I read on some places about hotel hygiene were not great.
So 1) price, was good to me for what we got. I only wished there was a casino so I could play until I got comped for a free night or two lol.
2) Free breakfast. I wasn’t expecting anything amazing but I was super excited for breakfast none the less. Woke up at 6am, went to the breakfast room and I was overwhelmed (in a positive way) by all the options! Coffee, tea, hot water, bagels, pastries, Danish things filled with chocolate, fridge with yogurt and milk, Sunkist drink machine, waffle maker complete with waffle mix next to it, hot bar with sausages, potatoes, plain eggs, veg omelette, like 8 different cereal dispenser options, plates, napkins, utensils. And everything looked so fresh and CLEAN and orderly. I was in staycation heaven This place definitely won me over with the breakfast alone haha. I grabbed a little bit of everything, stacked my plates, and brought them back to my room where I enjoyed breakfast in bed with the aid of the awesome bed-​table thing that you can use to do work on your laptop or eat in bed and watch tv. I did the latter.
3) room. The room, was clean and it smelled great! Not chemical-​clean, but «fresh» almost floral cleanliness. The bed was huge, I loved it. I could roll around throughout the night and still not kick/​squish my SO in bed The bathroom was clean, they even included makeup remover towelettes which I thought was really thoughtful. There’s a HUGE mini fridge ready to be filled with whatever.
(Btw, hotel staff I’m sorry I forgot to turn ours off.)
The door to the bathroom was different, it was a sliding door with like completely frosted glass, I thought it made the room look more modern.
The room had a nice air conditioner by the couch and it cooled the room immediately.
Being by the beach, where the weather was pretty moderate, I didn’t feel the need to use the pool, since we were a very very short drive from the beach. But I may use their jacuzzi in the future!
All in all, great experience. I will definitely be a returning guest, and I’d recommend it to friends & family looking to stay in that area

This is a great choice for the price and I would definitely stay at this hotel again! I stayed here two nights and everything was convenient; the location, free garage parking, free WiFi, free breakfast, and a complimentary bottled water.
The room was very spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was very nice. Everything exceeded my expectations for the price level of this hotel. My friend and I both kept saying, «what a great find!!»

This place was really cute and the rooms were nice. It’s located right near Seal Beach mainstream, and the staff was awesome. I would definitely stay there again if I needed a place in the area. You should look into it if you need a hotel in the area!

The grounds here at the hotel are very nice. The amenities provided are very impressive. It’s within easy walking distance of some of the nicest shops and restaurants of Seal Beach, and a great place to retire after a night of revelry. The beds are soft, the rooms are clean, and the parking is pretty decent. They have a nice looking little pool and Jacuzzi, of which I did not partake in, but I probably would future. Also, they have what is supposed to be an amazing free breakfast included with the room, but I had to leave so early in the morning and I couldn’t partake of it, so I cannot comment on it.
So, why do I give it four stars and not five? Price.
The price per night here is a little much, especially considering the amenities available at similarly priced locations. The reason for it is simply location. Between two marinas and in the well-​to-​do neighborhood of Seal Beach, they can charge higher rates and still flourish. That being said about it’s location, it is still very close to all the nice shops and restaurants in Seal Beach.
Still, I would come back again and give them my business. I recommend you do too.

Not a great spot at all but also not bad at all .Not good nor bad service but way better then the last hotel that I just had to leave from, which was a nightmare. I think the hardest thing is finding a place that is pet friendly. Abraham at the front desk was agitated that my dog barked. I understand this, yet he is the only one in the room at the front desk while I am waiting for my room. Im cold and in a dress I really do not feel like walking around outside with my dog for a hour or two in the cold until the room is ready. No one complained about my dog but I do understand at the same time. Guess it is really hard to find pet friendly places .This does have a great location near the beach and they do make pretty yummy cookies hahhahhaha. I have stayed here before. Nothing great nothing bad. Kind of a cool last minute spot to stay if you have to. I forgot to mention how great the lady manager was. She is very nice and professional.

This is a great little hotel in Seal Beach! It is walking distance to restaurants, shops, beach, etc. We have stayed three times and have another stay reserved for January, to rest and relax after the holiday!
The staff is very helpful, rooms are nice and location is top notch!

I really loved this little place. I needed a vacation badly and so the amenities that may seem simple to others (like free breakfast, bottled water at the desk or a Starbucks machine in the lobby) were luxuries to me! And much appreciated.
The staff was really nice and welcoming and went out of their way to help or answer questions. I felt well taken care of.
Great location. I was going to an event down the street at the Community Center neat the Marina. The weather was gorgeous and I could walk there in 5 minutes! Nice surprise. The next day, I didn’t really know where I was in relation to Main Street, but it turns out I was, again, a 5 minute walk, if that. So cool.
They also have a free shuttle service within 5 miles, and lots of info/​brochures about the area, which is great because, hey, even though I live in LA, I actually have very little clue about anything in the Seal Beach/​Long Beach area. I got to get inspired by all the reading material which was really fun. If I had a longer stay, Pacific Inn would have been a great home-​base.
The room was clean and modern and fantastic. Big king bed like a fluffy cloud with piles of soft pillows. Great shower, cool sink, nice little couch and desk area with free coffee and coffee pot to use AND a cute balcony with two chairs. Very homey. I think I happened to get an especially nice room (325, y’all) because it was also right next to the Breakfast room. When I got up, I could just pop next door and feast. No, the food wasn’t gourmet, but they seemed to have something for everyone and it’s free! So the fact that they had so much was another nice surprise. It was well maintained by a nice lady with a good variety of options; cereals, muffins/​bagels, fruit, MADE TO ORDER BELGIAN WAFFLES, eggs, potatoes, sausage, hot coffee, juices and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the pool.
It was very quiet in my room as well. I didn’t even realize I lived next to the breakfast room until I walked out of my room. Since I live underneath the loudest people ever in LA, it seems, this provided an incredibly luxurious sound-​escape. :P
The pool area is really cool with these neat beams that run over head so you get this nice sun/​shade combo. I soaked in the jacuzzi for a while, in the morning and nobody was there (except the cleaning lady’s kid which was cute). Enjoying the freedom of looking at the sky and feeling like I was «en plein air» I also felt safe and secure «inside» the hotel and glad I didn’t yet have to get ready for and deal with an entire day at the beach just to get some relaxation with water and sky.
In short (too late for that: P) Pacific Inn was a great blend of simple, casual and convenient with modernity, luxury and serenity. I had no idea I’d have such a good time in Seal Beach, and Pacific Inn was a huge part of that.

Stayed here for three nights while work was being done on our house. From the outside, the hotel looks inviting and cozy. But the inside does not match. Was disappointed at the state of our room… the room looked clean upon arrival, but once we started getting settled in, I noticed that there was not much attention to detail in the cleaning process. The bathroom ceiling and walls had hairs stuck all over, and there was hair caught in the hairdryer, clearly visible. I also found dirty cotton swabs behind the sink along with a set of false eyelashes. Soooo gross. There was also a really strong sewage smell that we finally figured out was coming from the shower drain. The only way to clear the smell was to cover the drain with the bath mat. The bathroom door is really strange… it is more like a sliding closet door that is really hard to open once shut, and it does not lock.
The main part of the hotel room looked to be cleaner than the bathroom, but the curtains were filthy. Very obvious stains all over the fabric.
The entire hotel needs a remodel, but that really isn’t the issue. It’s the lack of cleanliness and attention to detail that really grossed me out. My husband and I ended up walking to the local grocery store and purchased Lysol wipes and wiped down every counter, door nob, light switch and remote in our room. After we disinfected the place, I was finally able to relax a bit.
The rooms are non-​smoking, but the grounds are not. At the end of each hallway, there is a designated smoking area in the outdoor stairway. The problem with this is that the stench of cigarette smoke blows right into the hotel hallways. Our room had a faint smell of cigarette smoke, too.
One positive, the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful when we checked in. There was a bit of confusion with our reservation when we arrived, but they handled it very professionally and fixed the problem quickly.

We just happened to luck out when deciding where to stay! Never been there before. Will always stay here from now on! Everything was fantastic as if we were at a 5 star hotel! From the friendly employees who were so nice (nicer than any other hotel employees) to the freshly baked warm cookies in the Lobby, all the way down to the art on the wall, I’d give it ten stars if I could! Mostly for the cookies! Lol even in the breakfast area? There’s a friendly employee wearing a cute apron making sure everything’s ok. I left some clothes behind by accident and they’re shipping them to me! Love love love this place!

Pros: Great location — walking distance to beach & downtown seal beach. Great customer service– front desk clerks were friendly & helpful, maids were thorough. Free breakfast– delicious omelette, sausage, potatoes, cereals, bagel, croissant, muffins, yogurt, juices, coffee. Free parking. Free WiFi. Free use of boogie boards. Comfy beds. Free shuttle service.
Cons: Refrigerator did not cool very well even at highest setting. Pool was a bit small but frankly, it was never too crowded to be a bother. Shower only in room, it would have been nice to have a tub for the kids. Charged $ 10 to buy towel for use at the beach. Towels should be complimentary to use then bring back. They said it was for sanitary reason but that’s what a washing machine is for. At least if you’re going to force me to buy a towel I would hope it would be a nice one but only plain blue/​white striped thin cotton.
Overall, great place to stay. Reasonably priced for all you get. We had a good time & enjoyed the hotel very much.

Although this hotel is a bit on the dated side the rooms were clean (they even come with a microwave and refrigerator and nice size balcony), the staff extremely friendly and so close to downtown. Other perks are free parking, shuttle service and free breakfast. Did I mention the friendly service???
We will definitely be back and will always make this our Seal Beach stop.

Plus side: great friendly staff, big rooms, Balcony, flat screen tv, microwave, fridge, comfy bed, close to cruise terminal, nice neighborhood with plenty of shopping, nice breakfast, indoor/​outdoor pool, great price!
Negative side: older dated hotel, bathroom fixtures need updating, air conditioner rattles like a 747.
As you can see the positives far outweigh the negatives. Overall a good value hotel in a really cool part of town!

Since we were travelling for a family Disney wedding, my family booked rooms together. We didn’t want to book anything around Disneyland, considering none of us planned on going in the park, so we booked at the Pacific Inn, only a couple blocks from the beach (which is more exciting to me than Disneyland in all honesty).
My sisters and I had flown in early in an effort to save money, and after trying to spend up time everywhere possible, we decided that trying to check in at 11am seemed okay. We lucked out. The gentleman at the desk was nice enough to notify us that one of our rooms was ready. We were so happy because that meant we could properly prepare for the wedding.
The room was nice and spacious with all the amenities we needed and some. Nice, clean bathrooms, and a nice pool and jacuzzi. I was glad there was parking for us since we had a rental and weren’t psyched about parking it on the street.
It turned out to be a great location, not too far from the airport, or Disneyland, with friendly staff, and a clean hospitable room. I can see myself returning if I am ever in so-​cal again.

We booked this hotel so that we could stay here the night before a cruise and leave our car here.
Wow, the exterior does not provide any indication of how nice the rooms are. We booked a room with a King. It was really big, with a back patio.
The bed is nice and comfortable and we had a rollaway bed for the kids.
The bathroom was nice and clean with a doorless shower. The décor was very modern and updated. Very nice room and a wonderful option if you’re looking for a place to stay before or after your cruise out of Long Beach.
