Another great haircut by Joseph! You may think your hairdresser did a good job after leaving the salon, until you style your hair yourself or when the style starts growing out you notice uneven cuts. Well my friend, that is not a good cut. That has never happened after receiving a haircut from Joseph. In fact, I swear it grows in even better. Also the color is always perfect. Joseph takes the time to check how the color held up, and if he thinks it should be tweaked, he’ll let you know why and how. He never just pulls your file up and automatically mixes the same formula used last time without first asking you questions like how did the color last? Did it get lighter or darker? Did the gray hair have complete coverage? Etc. It’s rare to see someone still passionate about their profession. Also at Michael Joseph Salon they are always up to date with the latest products and procedures. They have a knack for knowing the next big thing (usually before others). I highly recommend this salon.

Joe is amazing at what he does. My color comes out exactly the same every time which has always been a problem for other salons I’ve gone to. The staff is all very friendly and they are reasonably priced for the area.

Joe and his staff are wonderful. I’ve been to the North Shore and paid top dollar for supposedly the best. They don’t hold a candle to Joe’s skills. He listens, weaves his magic and you come out looking like a movie star. I truly feel beautiful when I leave his salon. And his staff is superb, warm and so accommodating. I can’t say enough positive remarks about this salon. Go! You won’t be disappointed.

I moved to Long Island from Brooklyn in 2000. I would travel back and forth to Brooklyn just to have my hair cut. It was becoming an inconvenience to do this and I decided it was time to find the right hair stylist and salon to take the place of the one I was leaving behind (Yikes!!) So I tried a few salon and could not connect with any of them. I decided to try one more salon and lucky for me they had a cancellation.
From the moment I walked into Michael Joseph Salon I felt very comfortable and knew I wouldn’t be traveling to Brooklyn anymore. Frank at the front desk welcomed me not only as a customer but like a friend I’ve known for years. Joseph, the owner and my stylist, took time with his consultation and came up with a hair style best suited for the shape of my face. Joseph has been coloring and cutting my hair since that day, 13 years ago. Over the years I’ve had many different hair style thanks to Joseph and loved each and every one of them.
I was very nervous about coloring my hair but once again, my knight in shining armor came through and picked a color that would enhance my own and left my hair healthy and shiny. I get stopped and asked all the time…” where do you go for your hair? I love the cut. Is that your natural color?” I say the same thing all the time MICHAEL JOSEPH SALON… Love you guys and thank you for making me look beautiful…
