My friend and I hit this shop on our consignment-store-palooza day and it was another no-go. Though better than Hidden Closet(this one smelled nice) it had nothing for me. What I mean is that they really didn’t have anything someone in their twenties or thirties would want to wear. That alone wouldn’t warrant three stars, what earns them this honor is their outlandish pricing. Seasons old Donald J. Pliner shoes for $ 50! You can get this season’s at Nordstrom for $ 100 or go to Last Chance and get them for $ 20 to $ 30. And that’s for this season. Not something we were wearing three years ago.(I’m not against that at all, but price accordingly people!) If you’re in your fourties or fifties(or just like dressing like you are) I would probably check this store out, but know what these things cost new and speak up if something is overpriced. I heard a woman in there doing just that as we were browsing and though the store owner wasn’t willing to go as low as the customer wanted, she was willing to bargain some.(This is more likely to happen on the higher end stuff). I say it never hurts to try. Give this store a try if you feel it’s your style and see what you think. It’s not bad, but you never know when you’ll find that hidden gem.
