History

Established in 1972.

William Robert Kilpatrick, MD founded Scottsdale Eye Physicians & Surgeons, PC in 1972. He practiced ophthalmology in Arizona until he retired in 1992. WRJK’s spirit lived on through his sons, who continue their father’s tradition of serving local and international patients. His eldest son, William R. Kilpatrick, MD joined the practice in 1977 and retired March 2015. His youngest son, Dennis L. Kilpatrick, MD joined Scottsdale Eye Physicians & Surgeons in 1985 after completing his residency at the University of Texas Southwestern, in Dallas. Candria Meharry, OD joined the practice February 2015. Dr. Meharry completed her Doctorate of Optometry at Southern California College of Optometry in 2010 and has practiced in Las Vegas, New York, and Scottsdale. Dr. Kilpatrick and Dr. Meharry work together as a team to provide our patients with premium eye care.
