The Pilates Institute of Scottsdale was founded in 1999 and has been an integral part of the Scottsdale/​Paradise Valley Fitness community. We work with all levels of students as well as pre/​post physical therapy patients.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

G Pelliteri, Owner and Instructor, attended undergraduate and graduate school at Arizona State University and received her degree in Education and Exercise Science. Ms. Pelliteri has an extensive career in various capacities within the fitness field which allows her to offer a unique perspective and creative methods in her teaching and instruction.

After receiving her K-​12 teaching certificate following her academic studies, G taught physical education for the Cartwright School District, developing a non-​competitive fitness program for 1^st through 6^th grade school children.

G was hired by the Lincoln Institute for Athletic Medicine on the campus of John C. Lincoln Hospital to create a fitness test protocol for healthy adults. G’s design for the protocol was implemented with great success. In addition, Ms. Pelliteri provided support and aid as an exercise physiologist in the rehabilitation of professional athletes with a number of professional teams.
