From the youngest to the young at heart, Kidstop celebrates the power of play! We are obsessive in our search for the best in toys. We search at the New York International Toy Fair along with many other toy finding trips around the country. Maybe that’s why you have voted us Best of Phoenix, time and time again.

History

Established in 1999.

We opened our doors over 12 years ago, guided by the importance of play for children in learning all that they have to learn. From talking pens that work on flash cards to science kits that go Kaboom! and art kits that emulate the finer skills of Van Gogh and other great artists, we have great toys! Every spring we test our outdoor toys with over 1,000 kids coming to try out our newest finds from the Toy Fair. This year, our toy tester event will be on April 28^th. In the fall, we continue playing as we celebrate National Toy Store Day and once again, we are playing with hundreds of kids with our toys. If we can survive this type of testing and playing, imagine how well are toys will do in your home?!

Business Owner

Kate started in the toy industry working for J.L. Hammetts and with hundreds of teachers in the western half of the country. Falling in love with the «power of a great toy», she opened Kidstop in August of 1999. Having her own toy testers at home, her husband Scott and stepson Brandon, the past decade has been a labor of love with the finding of thousands of great toys and most importantly, having Kidstop grow and become a «must go to» place in the Scottsdale & Phoenix communities.
