Toys and Playtime Oasis

I’ve been a nanny 25 years in 4 different states and this place is definitely in the top 5 of all the play places I have encountered.

Most kid play areas are pretty filthy and I cringe thinking of all the germs around, but this place is super clean. It’s nice having an area for the kids to play where there are no hidden areas where you can’t see them. This would be a perfect spot for someone with multiple children since it allows you to watch both kids easily. They have nice couches for parents to sit on too if your child is more independent. The only downfall is that there are so many cool toys there that you walk by to go play that it makes my child want everything! Well, I guess it’s a good if you are in the market for awesome new toys. :) I have only gone to open play, so I can’t wait to try one of their events.

Overpriced toys and play area for $ 9 is a total rip off… the toys in the play area are infested with germs and mostly old/​broken. The minute you walk in the door, the creepy owner tries to sell you everything (all over-​priced).
Stay away, I know we will.
Take your money and child and go 2 doors down to AZ Air time.

We love this place!!! Staff is always welcoming and we always have so much fun. Everything is pretty clean and organized. The store also has really fun and different toys for your kiddos

Love this place! Easily there for a couple of hours having a blast! Unfortionately some parents bring their kids to play when they can’t go to school or daycare because they’re sick. But the owner was quick to give us a free day so we could leave and not hang around the germ infested family. Great owners!!! Good price and big selection of toys!

Love this place. I’ve been here a couple times. They have toys that you cannot find anywhere else. I found toys that I grew up playing with. Which made me feel old ;) They also have a playtime area for kids that is always being used and looks like a lot of fun. I’m not sure on the prices for that. I was able to find some pretty cool gifts for my son’s 8^th birthday here. It was nice to be able to bring home toys that aren’t sold in regular stores. He particularly liked the lego set that lights up in which I purchased here. I will be back soon. It’s right around the corner from where my boyfriend gets his hair cut. So I just go shopping while he’s doing that :)

I just love this place! Its bright and cheery and is designed to put a parents mind at ease. It is a parents and grandparents dream: never too crowded, extremely clean, no blind spots, chuck full of toys, comfy couches for tired adults, and nothing they can’t get into. Best of all its owned by a lovely couple who are grandparents themselves. There are very few places in town where you can take your toddlers and not have to tell them no, chase them around, or watch them like a hawk. Its one of the only places my friends and I can actually relax and catch up, while the kids entertain themselves.
My 2 year old son loves it so much we just threw his bday party there. They were so easy to work with, and very accommodating. It made the party «a piece of cake». I look forward to coming here for years to come.

It would be nearly impossible to beat this toy store — anywhere, anytime, and in any city. Unbeknownst to me until today, I just learned that it is the Oldest Family Owned Miniature, Doll, and Toy Store in North America! I believe it — the selection of toys, dolls, and miniatures (doll house stuff) is INSANE. It’s better than FAO Schwartz in New York City for usability and selection. If you need a birthday present for a baby, toddler, elementary, or even junior high age kid… this is the place to go. The owner (s) are engaging, helpful, and actually customize your gift giving experience and offer recommendations on the newest and hottest toys. They offer complimentary gift wrapping too, thank you very much!
This place is like going to your neighborhood wine store that offers a small selection of handpicked wines. Many Melissa & Doug picks, literally hundreds of «crafting» type of kits, from crocheting, knitting, to pillow making and scrapbook making. Many of them are marked «Best Toys 2012, etc.» and other labels so you kind of know if they are tried and tested.
I have purchased every single birthday present that we’ve needed here over the past 8 years or so, and many holiday gifts as well. You could literally do all of your holiday shopping here in one trip. The games are very unique, many of them classics… think Operation, Scrabble iterations, Chess, dolls, dominoes, etc. You can absolutely find something here everytime for any party that nobody else will buy or bring when everyone else just went to Target on their way to the party.
My kids are beyond toddlerville now, but this place now has an entire side reserved for younger children to play in, and there are tons of scheduled playtime type of events, like the recent «Meet Elsa» events that were very popular.
Love that this place is family owned and is run exactly the way a small biz should be run — with attention to detail, service, and that warm fuzzy feeling that makes you feel awesome spending a few bucks there.

This store moved from the Promenade to the NW corner of Scottsdale and Thunderbird. It is a wonderful store, with a lot of educational toys and some original ones. The play area is really nice. I think my twins are about to outgrow it, but it is worth spending sometime there. Last time we were there about 1 and ½ hours. It is $ 9 per child and they can play with all the toys for as long as they want. The place is very clean. Kids and parents are required to wear socks. The day I went there was a mom and kid who were barefoot. I guess they don’t police it very well, but hopefully people will understand that it is the only way to keep the place neat. The play area is for children up to 5 years old. On a hot summer day, it is a very good option.

This is officially my favorite toy store! There’s a play area for a charge of $ 9 per kid but it was worth it for me. This place also carries a nice selection of educational toys.

Clean, safe indoor playground for little ones. I rate this best for walking kids to age 5.
Lots of tables with all different activities: blocks, magna tiles, puzzles of all kinds. Shop and pay for your groceries then cook or BBQ and serve your meal.
Babies, Calico critters and farm animals with lots of accessories. Love the obstacle course and kid size fitness equipment. Plenty of ride on toys too but not too many to cause playing difficulty.
Definitely give it a try. The toy store next door is great as well.
