History

Established in 2013.

Image & Frame is the natural extension of our family’s print shop, Inkslinger’s Inc., in business since 1973. I was looking to expand our capabilities and decided I would incorporate my years of experience in framing and artist representation into what is now a premier Giclée print and framing service to the public and the arts trade.

We are a family run art business dedicated to the creation, management and protection of fine art for professionals and the public.

The owners, Eric & Lynn both have degrees in art and the business of art. Together we’ve run commercial galleries and have worked in some of the most respected gilding and frame studios in the Western US.

Coming from a family of printers (Inkslinger’s Inc. in Tempe, AZ), we are strategically placed to help you make your art look its best. Stop by or call!

The owner of Image and Frame, Eric, knows framing and is well versed about his inventory. I asked to have a commissioned water color painting framed. He zeroed in on the frame and matting almost instantaneously. I consider him to be is a master craftsman in custom framing. The finished work is of the best style and quality and I am extremely proud to have it in my home. I have had many items custom framed over the past 40 years and I have no doubt this job ranks at the top! The added bonus is that his pricing is extremely fair. You will also find him to be a welcoming and friendly person who lives up to his word. I highly recommend him and this business.

Eric and Lynn did a wonderful job of walking me through the process of putting my photos on canvas to create my first art show! I received many compliments on the images and the quality of the printing and materials. I even sold a few! Now I’m a professional photographic artist. /​;^) Plus, their framing of my personal enso paintings and calligraphy was top notch. Finally, their pricing is competitive. Highly recommend!

I was in town for a conference and I had a very unusual art challenge — as curator of my artist-mother’s oeuvre, I’m very protective of her work. A painting I’ve been seeking for years belongs to a woman from Scottsdale and I needed to find a reputable place to remove it from its frame, have it scanned at high quality, and then return it to the owner. Eric took this on and made it happen in the most elegant, helpful manner. I am very grateful!

We have a very oversized diptych on masonite board and it badly needed a new frame. Eric helped us with the selection and then did an amazing job on the framing itself. Large pieces need extra support so the frame doesn’t bow out and separate from the masonite board. Our last frame was not supported properly and had already done some minor damage on the edge. So happy that we trusted Eric at Image & Frame for our art.

I took Eric a challenging project on a Saturday afternoon — to reassemble a frame and restretch a giclee. He was not daunted in the least. He promised that it would be finished by the time I got back from a 3 week trip. I was thrilled when I went to pick it up! Lynn & Eric are the best — their work is great and their prices are very reasonable

Had to get some pictures framed, and saw some great reviews for Image & Frame. Really glad I went to them. Great service and experience, and they went way above and beyond to help me out. One picture was in an old, outdated frame, and was kind of an odd size, and the stock borders didn’t fit it. Instead of charging me for a custom border, they did a fantastic job of cleaning the existing one, saving me money, and it looks like new. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

I am so happy that I came across Image & Frame! I recently moved to the area and needed help framing my Ketubah (jewish marriage certificate). Eric was extremely helpful and gave great suggestions to fit what I was looking for. I strongly urge anyone to use Image & Frame for any of their framing needs. I would be hard pressed to find better customer service in the Valley.
