Jon, Joe, and the whole GoodSpeed crew rocks! They’ve performed performance modifications on my G37, supercharged E92 M3, my FJ Cruiser and my MK7 Golf R. Their attention to detail and professional staff are second to none!

I have been bringing my Mk6 GTI to these guys nearly since I purchased her in 2011 and have never been disappointed! Everyone I have dealt with through all of my modifications has been professional, friendly, informative, and has gone the extra mile to ensure I was happy with their work and products. From ECU to larger turbo upgrades I always look forward to coming in to Goodspeed for not only the modifications, but for the knowledge I gain by talking to any of the technicians, the sales managers, or Jon and Joe themselves.
In short, I do not hesitate to give these guys (and gals too, Alli) my heartiest recommendation as a speed shop!

I had recently purchased a Volkswagen GTI and I wanted to get some work done to it. I looked up what the best places were to have work on a VW done and Goodspeed came up. They are the only VW place in town that does APR work (Tuning Company). Knowing this I had a feeling that this place would be awesome. I drive up and pull into their lot where I see all kinds of badass cars parked in the lot. There were WRXs, GTIs, Audi’s, BMWs, GTRs. You name the car and it was here and looking badass. I go in the showroom where they take my keys and get to work on my car. The showroom is a place for car lovers. Not only are their performance parts mounted to the walls, but also mounted to the wall is a TV showing the BBC show TOP GEAR. I thought to myself now this place knows what’s going on. They respect the good car enthusiast. My car finally finished and I got to enjoy my tuned GTI. Only downside was that the tune caused an issue on my car which is very rare because APR is one of the best tuning companies in the world. This, however, was not Goodspeed’s fault, it was APRs. Through thick and thin Jon, the owner, fought for me to get me taken care of. The level of customer service Jon went through was some of the best I have ever seen. Coming from a sales background myself, I was thoroughly impressed. In the end Jon took care of me, even going as far as paying for a rental car for me while my car got fixed. I have my car back now and it is awesome and back to normal. I will continue to do business with Jon at Goodspeed because of my positive experience and I hope if you read this, you will too.

I called Goodspeed today about troubleshooting a possible boost leak in my car. I was asked who performed the work and when I mentioned the shop, I was told that I would most likely not be helped and my car probably wouldnt be touched with a 10 foot pole. I was then put on hold, and then verified that the owner refused to touch any car with any work done from that particular shop, but I could talk to the owner about it if I wanted to. I just moved here recently, and have no affiliation with any tuner or performance shop, and more importantly i understand that every shop makes mistakes, causes problems, and create jobs at competing shops. I find what I was told by Goodspeed to be nothing short of ridiculous. If you have beef with someone or someones shop, take that as an opportunity to gain another customer. Thats what smart businessmen do. I was obviously seeking help for a reason, so to turn a cold shoulder due to past beef and refuse to even look at, let alone work on, a vehicle due to animosity is nothing short of childish bullshit. Places like this need not to operate in the United States of America, and this shop is a shining example of why many people do not want to even bother with modifying their cars. A crappy industry that is only getting worst. Taking my car to Cobb in CA when I go to visit my family; they were more than willing to help where needed.

Had an exhaust system installed on my M3. The guys knocked it out in no time at. Great staff. Will be returning!

Best performance shop in the Southwest for VWs, hands down! I’ve taken two of my GTIs in and their work is unmatched.

We brought our BMW for a simple repair they gave it back to us undriveable and wouldn’t help rectify the problems that they caused. We finally took it to another shop and had to pay thousands to fix the problems that goodspeed caused. Go elsewhere.

I’ve been bringing my Volkswagens to Goodspeed for a couple years now. All the staff are extremely friendly and knowledgable. Every time I’ve gotten parts ordered/​installed I get updates of the progress and it is all taken care of in the best way possible. I’ve never had an issue with any parts and anytime I come here I’m always wanting to come back.

Jon inspected an Audi I was considering purchasing and was able to point out some issues that I wouldn’t have found myself. The inspection fee was well worth it, as it saved me thousands on future repairs (and gave me some negotiation ammo with the dealer).
This is a great place, and I plan on returning once I make a purchase. Especially awesome that they do APR software!

I love my car. Perhaps to an unhealthy level. I just have to put that out on the table immediately in attempt to add some weight to the following statements.
Since I found Goodspeed, when I am working on my car, I look to Goodspeed first. I go here for my oil and filters (They’ve got Motul oil. Simply the best!) I went here when I had trouble with my air intake and they helped me sort it out. When I started getting a check engine light related to my turbo, I went in here with my suspicions of the cause. I talked to Jon for a couple minutes to describe the problem, he reached under the counter, pulled out a part and said «This is what you need right here.» And guess what? He was right!
I will continue referring my friends here, and going here for all my needs, most especially when I start doing more serious tuning of my car. I may live 30 miles away, but it’s absolutely worth the trek.

I did some research on the top local tuners when I moved to AZ and these guys were top of the list. I had them do some porting and ceramic coating work, and Clark tuned my car to perfection for the crappy 91 octane AZ gas. I trust these guys to do it right and give good advice, and I keep going back.

This is the best place to take your performance vehicle for mods or maintence in Arizona. Jon and Joe are very meticulous and have many years of experiance with highly modified vehicles. They got all the bugs out of my highly modified JDM swap Subaru that other shops could not fix. Clark Turner tuned it to perfection on their dyno.
This is the only shop in Arizona I take my performance cars.
