History

Established in 2002.

Global Prevention Services has an an innovative, exclusive product line (PureSpace) that both removes and prevents mold. We minimize the use of the industry standard ‘rip and tear’ procedures which are time consuming and very costly. We are general contractors who pride ourselves on our positive reviews, some actually are life-​changing experiences for those who have suffered extreme mold damage to their properties and health issues. Founder & Managing Director

Founder of numerous entities including GPS, Inc., Mr. Himelfarb has an extensive background in creating, developing and managing emerging companies. From international trade to electronics distribution to vehicle manufacturing to government contracting for the Department of Defense, Mr. Himelfarb’s career has been a combination of creative and strategic thinking and action. As president of a general construction company, Mr. Himelfarb was exposed to mold remediation projects and immediately recognized the need for a more positive, pro-​active approach. His founding of GPS, Inc. is primarily the result of his desire to mitigate the health risks to those so seriously affected by mold infestations, and secondarily, to minimize the destruction and eventual unbridled cost to repair and remediate unnecessary building damage.

GPS holds a dual General Contractors license and routinely performs remodels and building additions for its clients.
