If I could rate 0 I would. Disgusting, the woman had s cold and used no gloves to grab the donuts, which looked dry and disgusting. She was rude and either racist or on drugs. The worst place I’ve ever encountered

When will I ever learn? I eat donuts like once a year, so when I eat one, I really want to be good. I’ve been to the Scotts Valley Ferrell’s three or four times, and every single time, the donuts taste like they were left over from yesterday. Stale and yucky. Don’t waste your donut calories at this place!

I took my kids here a couple weeks ago and thought the doughnuts and coffee were good. Not the best I’ve ever had but far from the worst. The gentleman working was very nice and gave us some extra doughnut holes. I’ll go back again.

Couldn’t even taste the donuts because the place wasn’t open at 11:15am on Friday morning…

Horrible donut place! Thank goodness we know what a real Ferrell’s is like in Santa Cruz. Pitiful selection, barely any chocolate on my son’s sprinkle donut and weak coffee for me. We were wondering what the Unilocal reviews were like(after getting our order) and LOL’d when we saw the 1 star rating. Yup. We agree.

This place must not want to stay in business, because they have a limited supply of less than mediocre donuts. Donuts taste stale. They didn’t have any maple or chocolate bars. It was only like 8:30 in the morning so it wasn’t like they sold out. Will never come here again.

A truly dreadful doughnut experience. Don’t know what happened here, but those times I’ve found myself inside during their limited open hours, it’s been consistently bad. Heavy, cold, stale doughnuts… every time. The person serving is friendly enough, but the doughnuts are really just about as bad as it gets. Confusing, as the shops of the same name in Santa Cruz make quality doughnuts.

All Ferrell’s are not created equal… SIGH I will stick with my location on Ocean. It is like buying a fake knock off but not in a good way… Hours are short. Doughnuts don’t taste the same :( Added to my Friday from hell…

I support my local businesses, but just can’t support this one. It’s disgustingly dirty and the donuts were unfresh, lead bombs. The price per donut was outrageous. I can’t believe the health department hasn’t shut this place down. It needs to be leveled and something new needs to be built in its place. Truly an embarrassment. If you want fresh donuts, make the drive to the other Ferrell’s donuts in Santa Cruz. They have no affiliation and everything there is fresh.

Lady that serves you is nice and friendly. Coffee is hot and reasonably priced. Donuts are average and are not cooked at this location. There are two other locations of this chain in Santa Cruz, which is NOT the same chain as the two 24 hr Ferrell’s on Ocean St and Mission St. Story on the two chains can be found here:

Awful! dingy little building I can overlook, staff who don’t even lookup from their paper while serving you, meh. But the dozen donut holes I got on National Donut Day were tiny and stale. AND they cost $ 1.70 which is 45 cents more than they cost down on ocean street where the quality is always good and the staff happy and polite. never going here again.
