Scott’s Valley Chevron

Thank you, Scott’s Valley Chevron. For when I was broken, you fixed me. When I was crumbling, you made me whole. When I was hurting, you ameliorated my pain.
Basically I knew that «out of order» sign on the bathroom was BS. And as a woman with an overactive bladder and a penchant for drinking water regularly sometimes must do I stared that cashier straight in the eye and was like, «Is that bathroom really out of order, bro?»
«You can use it.» With a wink and all. So you know it’s real… Creepy.
And from the bottom of my heart as much as I hate and am disturbed by winks and people who feel comfortable doling them out, I will never forget that cashier’s kindness because I was able to relieve myself and get my life. So thank you.

Restroom conveniently «out of order»

We were on the way to Santa Cruz
when my car decided to snooze.
Turns out it was out of gas,
and a gas station we did not pass.
We called AAA
and much to our hooray,
they came to our aid
without getting paid.
But we needed more,
so we headed to Chevron’s door.
This gas station had rad 80’s décor,
an old coca-​cola clock and so much more.
We were there around three-​thirty
and the bathroom was really dirty.
So just stop by for some petrol,
the inside will make you ROFL.
