I was in there today and was treated so well it definitely deserves Unilocaling.
I am so happy with Scotts Valley King’s Paint — the customer care was wonderful, the atmosphere was relaxed, the person helping me was knowledgeable and very personable. Thank you Ron King for having a great store in Scotts Valley where regular ol’ people can come, that aren’t contractors and don’t know all there is to know about paint, and you treat us right! It means a lot!

These guys are so great! I recently bought a townhouse that needed some updating so I started looking for a local paint store that sold low VOC paint.
I went to a lot of places to compare prices and variety and King’s is definitely the best option in the Santa Cruz area. The store is on the corner of Soquel and 41st, so if you’re thinking of going to HD go here instead. The guys at King’s are super friendly, offer the Pittsburgh (no VOC) line of paint at a great price and have more color varieties than I saw at many other stores. The paint quality is superb and I’m so glad that I could happily support a local business. King’s is a win win.

This company is as good as it gets. Their standard of customer service should be one that all should follow. Although I go into the Soquel store, I am sure that there is no difference in the help you receive at either location. My husband needed a color match with a product «plastiseal» and they got it to a «T». They carry the best quality products and really know what is going to hold up and be the best value for our money. We also purchased deck stain and it is an amazing product. Thanks again and of course we’ll keep coming back and spread the word too!
