Encore Consignment Boutique

At the recommendation of a friend, I visited Encore in hopes of finding a dress for an upcoming baby shower. I arrived 15 minutes before closing, but the owner welcomed my son and I cheerfully. She personally helped me find a great strapless dress ($ 14) and cardigan. I cannot wait to go back to check out the rest of the store. It’s beautifully laid out with a great selection of amazingly-​priced items. Five stars for a cute shop and wonderful customer service!

Beautifully organized and friendly owner, I came for dishes but the shop is more focused on clothes, and ended up leaving with some lovely shirts!

This shop is everything you could possibly want from a store — friendly, attentive staff and well-​stocked with what you are looking for at prices that can’t be beat.
When I enter, I am not just a customer. I am Dru. I am greeted by name. Where else does that happen??? On top of that the staff always has a smile and something wonderful to say. They exude cheerfulness.
The clothes are stylish and priced at a perfectly reasonable price.
Overall, I love this store and the people working there. It is so great that it’s been around for over two decades and is still going strong. Awesome!

I went in for the first time yesterday, and I was shocked! I felt like I was in an upscale boutique with no hint of anything being second-​hand. Everything was clean, gorgeous, different, very stylish. I can’t wait to go back and see what’s new! The conversation was even better than the clothes! A true local store with a real person running it! Thank you!

Great store. I love shopping in consignment stores so that i do not consume new clothes, only recycle ones already made. I also love to shop locally. this store is very clean and nice with a wonderful owner.

Sweet find in suburban blandness. You’ll find a conservative feeling mixed with some gems. Great space to browse whilst awaiting to visit my dentist (who is also amazing btw) x the street.

I have shopped at Encore for about the last 5 years on and off and it is a great consignment shop! The previous owner was fabulous and the new owner is just as fabulous! Both are so inviting and friendly and I have always found at least one item that was perfect everytime I have shopped. It is a nice and open shop with a boutique feel, which is great! The new owner, Julie, picks her items well. All of the clothing is in great condition at a very reasonable price. I will be a customer for many years to come!

Encore deserves a standing ovation! Encore Consignment Boutique is a special treat to women in Scotts Valley and beyond. I’ve both purchased from and sold items. Julie is very passionate about her business and it shows in each interaction with her customers. You owe it to yourself to visit Encore, you’ll be sure to come back again and again.

Summer has a good eye.
I bought a bag from her in 2009 and last month i came in wearing it, she recognized it right away and said, did i sell that? i wish i ‘d kept it for myself. so cool made from a vintage tapestry with tough metal rivets and a gnarly tasseled draw string slung with chunky Bakelite bead. Priceless!
Her new shop is near the Rio theater, TOMBOY Cowboy boots galore! Must see!

I love this place! The owner, Summer, always has the cutest stuff. Her clothes are always in super great condition too. I’ve gone in there before on two specific occasions needing an outfit for a particular event and it was either waiting for me in the window or was hand picked by Summer herself. Talk about going to a store meant for you! I totally love this place, the owner, and the clothes. I highly recommend going there and supporting this local shop. Last time I went, this is an added bonus, Summer had Born Boots in my size for only $ 30. Talk about a steal of a deal. Go and get your re-​tale therapy on!

Yes, it’s kinda pricey, but it’s WAY LESS PRICEY THAN BUYING THE STUFF NEW! and the place is well organized and clean which makes for a pleasant shopping experience.
Got a pair of Born shoes here that I get compliments on every time I wear them, and although they were like $ 30+ at Encore, they were in ‘like new’ condition and retail for $ 100+, so I felt like I was getting a deal!
I should really stop in there more…

Summer the owner is so friendly and her merchandise is beautiful. She carries Designer clothing but NOT designer prices… I can walk in and she knows exactly what I would like. This place gets two thumbs up and around the world!!!

I was surprised by the quality of the items in the store. The owner really picks and chooses what she sells.

I love this store. I find little gems that I would pay out that Wazoo for in San Jose. I bought a red and white polka dot dress that was in the costume section and I actually wear it out often and get tons of compliments. Same with pretty much everything I find there. The prices are really reasonable as I said compared to Campbell and San Jose shops.
The gals that work there are really sweet and actually key into what you are looking for and go to the racks and find it. Amazing that they have such a keen eye for what merchandise is on their shelves and actually help you find things.
Oh and one other note that I like about this store. Everyone shopping in there makes it feel like you are shopping with your girlfriends even if you don’t know them. I love talking to strangers and it’s fun to get unbiased opinions. I think the atmosphere just creates that kind of comfortable feel for the patrons.

I really enjoyed searching through this store. It had a variety of items for many different tastes. It was nicely laid out, had a few new items, and just felt fun, funky, and unique inside. The gal at the register was super helpful and sweet. She looked around for toys that my daughter could play with (apparently they had a toy basket usually for kids, but they were having a trunk sale that night and it had been moved).

Always cute new clothes– Summer has great taste with an eye for every body type and style. My favorite scotts valley shop!

I consign here on a semi-​regular basis and unlike most places, you a) don’t have to wait forever for your turn and b) never feel like you’re being judged. I’ve also been able to pick up some cute and very wallet-​friendly things. Summer is so sweet and gets to know her customers/​consigners on a first-​name basis. I am so happy to see her business thriving!

As a customer who has shopped at many thrift and consignment stores, I like Encore because:
1. way more variety and modern styles
2. GREAT prices
3. nice owner and so easy to work with
If you are thinking about updating your wardrobe on a budget, this is the place to go.
As a consignor, I like Encore for these reasons:
1. the owner doesn’t judge you when looking at your clothes (some places are that way – very strange)
2. prompt payment
3. they will donate the items not sold (at your request) to a local non-​profit that helps the elderly in the community

Great store! Super fun to shop at and the owner is very nice. I was able to get a great jacket, as well as a few other things in my size! Will definately be back!
