I called David last Thursday because all of our large appliances had been turning on and off intermittently. I was very concerned that the power issues were going to eventually fry all our large appliances — leaving us with not only fixing our electrical issues, but also buying all new large appliances.
David returned my email almost immediately. He was able to come in and fix our issue that same day (I called around 8:00 and he met me at my condo at 1:00). He was able to fix the issue in a short amount of time while also explaining all that went wrong. He also recommended that I call my HOA to confirm that this repair wouldn’t be covered by them (HOA didn’t cover it) — rather than just doing the repair right away and taking my money. I appreciated him thinking of that.
I absolutely recommend David. He is a kind, reliable local electrician — who will get the job done.

I called David to diagnose some broken power outlets and a heater after a recent power outage. He was efficient, friendly, explained everything very clearly, and was very reasonably-​priced. I’d definitely call him again in the future.

David helped our family in a recent solar project, running a new circuit from inside the house to outdoor equipment on the roof. We are really pleased with the work he’s done which included a difficult routing problem through the attic. our exterior circuit looks very professional: wires are all cleanly routed and the conduit is carefully bent to follow the roofline.
The project lasted for several weeks, and working with David was great. He would always call before stopping by, and we could reach him by email or phone whenever questions came up. David did an excellent job for us, his prices were reasonable, and we’d go with him again. Thanks David!

Dave came to my home the same day and at the end of the day. I had two recessed ceiling lights that were not working properly. They kept blowing lights out in these fixtures. He put a meter on them and it turns out it was nothing. He did not want to charge for it due to it being so simple. So nice to see such a service.

My wife and I first met David Bertsch about 20 years ago, when he served as the electrical subcontractor for a pool that we put in. He has continued to help us with pool-​related electrical work from time to time, including a new control panel that he installed for us a few years ago. In addition, he has done a number of other electrical jobs for us, such as installing a whole-​house fan, a chandelier, kitchen lights, and lights on the front and back sides of our house.
David is an excellent electrician. He thinks about what he’s going to do before plunging ahead, and he’s very careful to avoid damaging walls etc. Today I asked him to install two 3-​way switches on the opposite sides of my garage, so that the main garage light could be operated from either entrance. I had assumed that he would simply run new conduit across the garage, but instead he found a way to make this work by snaking wires between 6 different existing electric boxes, using existing conduit. Some of these boxes were hidden inside cabinets, and this was a highly complex job, requiring a lot of thought and patience. Although I believed he could do it, I was delighted to see that, when he finally turned the power back on, the two switches worked perfectly the first time!
David is a warm, trust-​worthy human being, and his prices are very fair. We recommend him highly.
