Chef Evan Presents

We love Chef Evan! Chef Evan helped us put together a super fun «Chopped» style birthday party for our 10 year old aspiring chef. Evan was really communicative leading up to the party and put lots of thought and effort into how to make our little cooking competition a big success. Chef Evan put together 2 mystery boxes of ingredients, then led 2 teams of preteens through a one hour drill to each come up with a unique dinner. He was unflappable and he totally got the girls. He gave them enough leeway to be creative, but enough support to be successful, giving little cooking lessons along the way. The girls were super engaged and proud of the beautifully-​plated dishes they created and then got to enjoy. The results were amazing! Thanks to Chef Evan the party was a big success. Chef Evan was prompt, professional, creative, flexible, easy-​going and great to work with. Plus he is an inspired cook. I look forward to having him host a grown up event for me next time.

I can’t say enough good things about Chef Evan! His presentation is outstanding but more importantly his food taste amazing. His range of culinary options is limitless and his adaptability for dietary restriction endless. And one of the best things about Chef Evan is he is a really nice guy, who is easy to work with.

We recently had Chef Evan create a Thai inspired menu for a fundraiser we had at our house. The food was delicious. He was very flexible, dropping a server last minute when we had some last minute cancellations, creating special dishes for people with food allergies. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The service was pleasant and professional. The price was very reasonable. The entire experience was really great. I highly recommend Chef Evan Presents.

Chef Evan has not only been a fantastic chef, but as also grown to become a good friend. I’ve hosted over 35 dinner parties with him over the past year, and he has consistently provided Michelin star rated food and service. I’ve worked with a variety of other chefs in the past, but nobody comes close to Chef Evan.

Chef Evan is a rock star in the kitchen and if you are lucky enough to spend a little time with him you will find out he has worked for Rick stars! Knows menu planning and very adept at changes on the fly! Worked with him when he was on private mega yachts! Great guy with amazing palate and artistic flare!

From our very first contact to our last meal, Evan was perfect even under less than ideal circumstances.
He is excellent w/​communication even while he was on another job in the redwoods with no reception and I constantly had questions, and requests to change the menu. He never lost his cool and was very accommodating to our requests.
Once hired for our beach house, we had some major issues with our stove then our oven which greatly affected the menu he worked so hard on, but managed to put out excellent meals every day.
His filet mignon is amazeballs! Unfortunately I didn’t have a chance to try it until 2 days later. Meaning I had two day old microwaved steak, and it was still to DIE for! I can’t imagine how it was on the first day.
I highly recommend Evan for your personal/​private chef needs.
Quality comes at a price… And he’s worth every penny!

Chef Evan is simply the best I’ve ever worked with. I hired him consistently for two years for a very high-​net worth individual for everything from small intimate dinner parties to large scale events for 300.
He is an absolute pro — always on time, prompt communication, brings everything he needs with him, handles last minute changes without stress or worry, and his service staff is as top notch as he is. If you want something in 3 minutes… Evan will get it to you in 3 minutes.
Most notably, he’s just an amazing Chef. His menus are creative and inspiring, and he’s constantly improving himself and learning new techniques. And the completed food itself… amazing! He’ll even bring fresh vegetables from his own garden!
He can do everything from advise on how to stock a chef’s kitchen to roasting a lamb on a spit, and he is worth his weight in gold for his knowledge. He’s also the nicest guy you’ll ever meet. Most high-​end Chef’s have a diva attitude, but Chef Evan is as down to earth and as awesome as they come.
I am fortunate to have had the pleasure of working with him for so long and because of that relationship I can now call him a friend.
You will not regret hiring him or his team… he’ll make you look like you’re the rock star just for bringing him in!
