We frequent the Scotrun Diner. Really good diner food, and we frequently get breakfast for supper there. Service is quick and cheerful. I recommend for tourists in the area(and locals!)for a quick, tasty, and reasonably priced meal.

Great little Diner near Great Wolf. We stopped here around noon on a Saturday before checking in @ Great Wolf. We were seated right away but by 12:30 the place was very busy. Typical diner menu, good service, prices seemed average. We didn’t wait long for our food which was very good. Chocolate chip waffle for my son, grilled cheese with pork roll for me and a tuna melt for my husband and we cleaned our plates!

This simple dinner has the best food and is a great bargain in the land of Great Wolf Lodge. Instead of eating the very expensive buffet at Great Wolf Lodge we ventured out and found this diner. It was clean, warm and friendly. The food was just what we hoped for, great. They had many options for breakfast and were very accommodating to picky kids and toddlers. This is a great place for a family, Sunday Brunch or a quick bit for everyone. The staff was extremely receptive and accommodating and service was prompt and served with a big SMILE. We ate there 4 times while visiting GWL. I recommend this place for lunch and dinner if you are at the outlets too!

If you have to drive 5 more hours to eat something else then do it. This place to me was the worst diner I’ve been to in the whole country. I rather eat a dirty diaper them eat their horrible burger again. I’m in the parking lot crying as I type this because how horrible the food was. Burger comes with a soup not fries and to top it off it was chicken noodles with bow tie pasta. Again I would rather eat gum from the sidewalk in time squat then ever eat here again. They are lucky I couldn’t leave less then a star.(PS born in New Jersey live in Louisiana now and have been traveling for work and eating all around the country)

Only giving one star as ¼ star is not available. Who puts raw onion in a grilled chicken wrap? The«grilled» chicken was boiled and slightly older than me. My mother-in-law almost broke her jaw trying to eat the pork chops. The dinner rolls were heavy like rocks, although a rock may be easier to chew. I will take the mashed potatoes in a to-go box: I need some mortar to repair my front steps. If you order the Greek salad, you will get a plate of feta plus a leaf of lettuce. $ 40 for three people plus the cost of dental surgery. As for the décor – think 1970’s including the dark wood paneling. I would have included pictures but you know how you can’t a picture of vampires/the undead? The one good spot is that the staff is friendly; however, slightly depressed

Came here on a whim, because Hickory Valley Farm had a pipe burst(head there at least once during ur trip for bfast). Well, this place sat us promptly and had a solid selection for breakfast items. I ordered the pancakes and eggs, which was pretty good. Pancakes were pretty good, definitely my favorite part of the meal. The service was very fast, and the coffee was nice and strong which I always appreciate. I would avoid the steak and eggs, my hubby got it and the steak was super bland. Normally even just plain salt and pepper goes a long way with steak, but not even that was on it. Food was a decent price and considering the fast service, it makes this a solid option for breakfast.

This is a typical diner. The food isn’t bad nor great. The service is good and they are always busy. They’ve always been very kind and the service was great. I’d much rather go elsewhere for a quick bite to eat

Went here for dinner with family to escape the high prices at Great Wolf Lodge. Originally from NJ(home of some of the best diners!) and I can honestly say if you are looking for good food for a great price — this place is it! Service was fast. Food was tasty and hot! Waitress was very friendly. Check it out!

Pleasant quick service. There’s no fancy fare but the food is solid! Eggs cooked correctly, bacon and ham are tasty, coffee gets frequent refills, and the food tastes fresh. Options are well priced and the diner keeps getting better. They upgraded to battered crispy fries. The bathroom is clean, and the service is pleasant. We have had dinner there and the food is just as good. For the location and surrounding food options, this place is a hidden gem.

Okay so we had breakfast here with my husband’s parents. We wanted to go somewhere else but they are diner people so off we went. The beautiful picture is the cup my lukewarm tea water came in… yum! My food was wrong(sausages on top of my pancakes) vegetarians don’t like it when sausage sits on pancakes :) My father in laws eggs were cold both of these issues were resolved by the very sweet waitress. The food was mediocre but the staff made up for it. The dessert list seemed great… maybe if I am really hungry I will go back and give them a try but I sure as heck won’t be ordering any hot drinks after seeing that cup! Maybe I will try lunch since breakfast was a bust! There was a woman who was busing tables. She was super nice and spoke Spanish and called my son«senior» which got him all excited that she was speaking another language to him! :) We even gave her a tip along with the waitress because she was working hard and being friendly.

We stumbled on this place while visiting great wolf lodge and weren’t disappointed for breakfast!!! The lodge has a buffet which is horrible and expensive. If the kids complain about taste then there is an issue. The diner has great service along with great tasting omelette!!! The kids had waffles and eggs and wasn’t disappointed! If you r in the area stop by this diner and enjoy the food and save !!

I really wasn’t expecting much when I stopped in here for a quick meal, just some decent, typical diner fare. First and foremost, the menu is huge. There are a TON of options which is usually a bad sign at any restaurant. They serve beer and wine, so I asked what kinds of wine they had by the glass. The answer: «Purple, pink, and two that are kind of yellow.» Ah. Of course. I then asked if purple meant«red.» I was informed quite emphatically that no, purple meant purple. Check. Purple means purple. I tried one of the«kind of yellow» varieties, partly out of sheer morbid curiosity and partly to drown out the squeals from all the ill-behaved children running amok. On to the food, I ordered fish and chips, primarily because I figured anything deep fried was probably devoid of any sort of sickness-inducing bug. Plus I think fish is complimented by «kind of yellow» wine. Both the fries and the fish were straight out the frozen section of any given grocery store. You know, the scalene triangle-shaped patties of fish product? Seriously, if you’re looking a place that will make airline food seem like gourmet cuisine, look no further. Definitely steer clear of this place if you like food. On the plus side, the manager seemed very friendly and attentive but he would have to be handing out winning lottery tickets to get me back in this place.
