My friends and I were so fortunate to find this adorable place! The food is outstanding! The worst part of our visit was trying to decide what to eat because it all sounds and looks so good. The lobster corn chowder was mouth watering with large pieces of lobster in the creamy bisque. The salads are fresh and creative, the flatbreads are tasty and generous enough to share with a group and the service was outstanding. Save time to shop in each of the charmingly decorated rooms with one of a kind merchandise. Oh and dessert is a must!

This is an absolutely terrific place. Come hungry and prepare to try/​share an appetizer, an entrée, and an amazing dessert. Terrific tea selection too. Everything is beautifully presented and lovingly prepared. Both times I’ve been there, the chef has come out to see how we like the food. Service is excellent. The gift shop is amazing. So many cute things. I end up always buying something when I go. The owner, Deborah, and her husband, Dan, are so lovely and kind. Just good people who make you want to support such a wonderful local business. This is a great place to bring friends for lunch. One time I was there, a couple had a baby with them. The baby was welcomed as well, by both the staff and patrons. No dirty looks thrown their way. I do recommend making a reservation. They only have three tables, so if you just show up, you may not be able to get a seat. So call a couple of days in advance to make sure you can be seated when you want to be. Always allow extra time to look around the gift shop, too! I love that when I’m there, I feel like I’m at a relative’s cozy home, rather than a large, impersonal restaurant. Enjoy!

This little place is a gem! I was driving by and saw it but also saw it in a magazine ad. The owner Deborah is so sweet and accommodating and her fiancé Dan is just as nice. They have a good selection of items as gifts or just for your self. I loved the home furnishings for sale as well. The food was very tasty and fresh and had some original things on the menu. I loved the lobster mac and cheese (but wished it was much bigger lol). I also loved the turkey and cheese on pretzel bread! They had some great deserts too! I also liked the selection of chocolate for sale in the front! I enjoyed dining in the quaint little room and looking around at the furnishings. Upstairs was beautiful; each room had a theme and there was even a sale area. If you are looking to have a different type of experience for lunch and do a bit of shopping this is the perfect spot. The prices for food and merchandise is reasonable. The only thing is that you have to be careful you don’t pass the place by since the entrance is around the back and the sign is not the most visible! They have only been open about 6 months but hope they keep the good work up!

Had the pleasure of sampling several of the desserts offered at Comfort and Joy and one was more delectable than the next. The array of items available for purchase whether it be the extraordinary fine chocolate or the «Downtown Abbey» tea blends, the shop clearly has something for everyone’s taste. The shop is just beautiful and the «pretty room» filled with everything a woman could want in accessories, soaps, and lotions delighted the senses visually and aromatically. Definitely worth a stop… and some shopping!

I just happened across this cute little luncheon /​gift store during my travels. It just opened this week. It offers an eclectic collections of gifts, decorations, chocolates, jams and antiques. Visually, I hadn’t seen anything quite like it! They also serve lunch coffee and deserts. I ordered Caprese on Flat-​bread and their signature salad. While my lunch was being prepared I perused their two floors gifts and things all tastefully arranged. Did I say that this place is really cute! The portions where healthy, the presentation was appealing and tastes was VERY good.
